Feat of Strength and
Vulpera Heritage Armor Set
. This can only be transmogged by Vulpera.
There are a few things that will prevent you from receiving your heritage armor set, so be sure not to use any of the following as you level your Vulpera:
Character Boost tokens
Faction or Race changing your Allied character
Leveling up using Recruit a Friend in-Game levels
These sets are cosmetic, meaning they can be transmogged onto any Cloth, Leather, Mail, or Plate the Vulpera character is using. Other races cannot use the Vulpera Heritage Armor Set.

Vulpera Jokes and Flirts
These are triggered by typing /silly or /flirt while on your Vulpera character.
Flirts:
It's lonely chasing my own tail. How about I chase yours instead?
The worst part about sand? It gets everywhere. And I mean... everywhere.
I'm sure you think "Hey, foxy!" is a clever pick-up line. But trust me, I've heard it a million times.
You drive me crazy... crazy like a fox!
Everything has its use. I could think of a couple for you.
Are you fixin' for a vixen?
You can visit my oasis anytime.
Jokes:
What's a vulpera's favorite dance? The fox trot.
Never trust a sethrak merchant. Bunch of snake oil peddlers, if you ask me.
I want you to know I cherish your friendship. But if you die on me, I'm taking your stuff.
Sure, Meera's song about Dolly and Dot was catchy. But that doesn't mean all vulpera should be expected to write a jingle for our alpacas!
To survive in the dunes, you sometimes have to scavenge supplies. From other people. After you "incapacitate" them.
I'm drawing a line in the sand! Oh, I'm not mad--that's just what we did for fun back in Vol'dun.
Do you have something to tell me? Go ahead. I'm all ears.
Flirts:
You're so hot I'm frothing at the mouth! Hmm, or is that rabies?
I've always got a seat on my wagon for you.
Have you come to trade? Or did you have something else in mind?
I could wander the desert with you all night. We'd freeze to death, but it would be worth it.
Come a little closer. I'll tell you what the fox says.
I'll be the fox. You be the hound.
Sorry for staring, but I can't help vul-peering at you.
Jokes:
Can I mix you a drink? I've got... a fireflask, ranishu stomach acid, spoiled alpaca milk, and... Hey, where are you going?
Not every vulpera makes their home in the dunes. Some become pirates on the high seas. We call them "quitters".
The vulpera are survivors. We don't give up. We don't stop. We work harder.
Never loan gold to a troll named Akunda. When you try to collect, they'll insist you gave it to a different Akunda.
I'm gonna paint my wagon. Gonna paint it good.
What's the best part about joining the Horde? We finally get revenge on Gilneas for all those fox hunts!
Vulpera generally tell the truth, though we do enjoy the occasional... tall tail.
Lore of the Vulpera
The Vulpera of Vol'dun are a nomadic fox race that has survived the sands of the deserts of Vol'dun for generations. Vol'dun is not the only place where you can find Vulpera, though - Some Vulpera migrated to Kul Tiras where they befriended other "mongrel" races and became the Bilge Rats, one of the smaller pirate clans who pledged loyalty to Harlan Sweete and the Irontide Raiders.
Living in a desert biome, the Vulpera have learned to survive with what little resources they are able to scavenge. They live in self-dug burrows, travel in caravans, pursue trading for more supplies whenever they can, and spread information they pick up along the way. Because of the harsh desert life, the Vulpera cannot afford to waste resources, and the race as a whole has learned to take anything that looks even remotely useful, finding value in things hiding in the desert.
The Vulpera lived for generations in peace with the Sethrak, snake people who also dwell within the sands of Vol'dun. However, over time, one of the leaders of the Sethrak, Korthek, became power-hungry and sought to unleash the C'Thrax Mythrax the Unraveler and use its ancient powers to conquer Zandalar. In Korthek's quest for power, he started enslaving Vulpera, even going as far as selling their children. Not all Sethrak are hostile to the Vulpera though - Only Korthek's Faithless servants.
Just when I thought the Faithless couldn't get any worse, I find out that they're keeping vulpera children trapped down in that crater! Selling vulpera kids! Oooh, those Faithless make me so angry!
-
When exploring Vol'dun, Horde adventurers meet and befriend the Vulpera, and eventually help the fox race liberate themselves from the Sethrak. With an unlikely alliance cemented with the Horde, the Vulpera are now eager to depart their caravans from Vol'dun, in search for new adventures within Azeroth and the Horde.

May need to fix:
There is also a matching tabard: Tabard of the Vulpera. This is awarded for creating your Mechagnome, logging on, and turning in the first quest For the Alliance.

There is an error where it says where to obtain the tabard of the vulpera; it refers to mechagnomes instead of vulpera.

There are 2 versions for the mount, in your camp if you click the bag you can hide the canopy or turn it back on

Should add DKs as playable class with the stipulation it is coming in Pre-Patch.

Exalted with the Voldunai may take several days to obtain, as you can only earn a limited amount of reputation per time with World Quests and Emissaries. Reference the Voldunai Reputation Guide for details on how to obtain reputation.
Thanks for writing this guide, but this needs to be changed to several

Great guide, im loving the totem models, these new races have some of the best visual upgrades.
Feels a shame they don't do more for the other races in terms of race identity intergrated into class abilities.
I remain optimistic that this might happen in the future
I feel most people should have the reputations by now so thats not a massive issue to me.its not to bad either currently with the 15% bonus for 15 year anniversary of WoW.

where does the special questline start?

There are a lot of people complaining they don't fit into the horde, because they are cute and do not fit the more brutal nature horde exhibits, these people are clearly not paying attention or have not played through Vol'dun. Our best example of them fitting quite well is Nisha the ruthless killing machine of the Vulpera that frees us by killing the guards while unarmed and wears a dead sethrak as a helmet. Skills like that would make an orc blush, there's also
the unnamed npcs found desecrating the dead.
just because they are cute does not mean they are not dangerous, take the blood elves as your perfect example of that race already in the horde.

The table under "AVAILABLE CLASSES" lists Hunter "Ranged DPS." Does this mean Vulpera can not be Survival?

This may be an unpopular opinion but do we really need fuzzy Goblins? adding new races is good and all but I for one am getting a little bored with (insert copy paste race model here) where we have twice as many races then there are classes in the game. Like how about a new class or spec otherwise all these races do is add one or two unique racials to the game that mostly are flavor crap with a long cd that don't really do anything. I don't need 5 hunters for example just because I want a toon of a different race unless the race choice actually did something to make the class spec feel and behave different from the others, other wise the game gets a bit stale when your basically re-rolling the same toon over and over just for the race appearance.

I may have missed the answer, if one was given, but if someone has changed main toons and would like to get the quest-line for Vulpera and unlock the race, would that person need to complete all the requirements again on the toon they are wanting to play? OR does the original completion of the requirements on another toon allow the person to complete the quest-line on another toon of their choosing?
Vulpera decision to make.....Shaman....or....Hunter.....decisions decisions haha

I'm concerned about the lack of "stat" racial, y'know how Tauren get 1% versatility, Belves get 1% Crit, Nightborne 1% magic damage, etc.

I am exalted with the faction and I got Secret of the Sands achievement.
Is special questline with the Vulpera avalable with an another toon on different account or is it only for that one which is exalted and has achievement?

If you race change, does that disqualify you from the Heritage armor?

The "Available Classes" section has a typo. Hunter is listed only as Ranged Mail DPS. Hunters are Ranged and Melee DPS as of Legion.

Horde get all the good races! First the Goblins and now the Vulpera? And what does Alliance get, another version of a Gnome? Le sigh... might be time to switch allegiances...

I love the Vulpera for the same reasons I love the Bloodhoof Tauren. Nomadic people who make the best use of the resources they have. Their camping racial is so much fun too. Love the feeling of pitching up a tent to log out and coming back to a remote area outside of civilization to log back into.

It's definitely Broken. I completed and received the 'Secrets in the Sands' Achievement at level 46, and received a quest to recruit allied races. When I went to the embassy to unlock, there was nothing but race overviews. I also searched for Kiro in reported locations, and could not find her. I'm now grinding to 50 (patch 9.02) to see *if* that works.
Blizzard. Maybe make that clear? Even the new character creation screen lists two requirements: complete the achievement, and go to the embassy. That's it. I've done both, and it isn't working.

I started my Vulpera earlier but started leveling in 9.0. I made him a hunter and gave him a wolf as second pet. Appropriate since foxes are so often hunted IRL by people and canines. I got to 48 in Draenor and then decided it was getting kind of tiresome so I returned to the present and started questing in Voldun. Bladeguard Kaja and others keep saying " these fox people" and talking about this unknown desert location without any recognition that I am a vulpera and from there originally. Also I got the recruiting allies quest and went to the embassy just for kicks and learned about recruiting Vulpera even though I am one. All and all, though, I am enjoying him a lot.

Is it easier to unlock the

I understand that the planet's world soul is powerful and in turn make its biomes rich and diverse, but I think there is way too many sapient races that are native to Azeroth. The Vulpera and the Fungarians, should've been races of worlds we liberated in Invasion Points during Legion, that then became refugee on Azeroth like the Orc and Draenei were long ago.
