With a 2.30 speed main hand and a 1.80 speed off hand and 24 Crit % this buff rarely goes away. Usually have it back up again at 2-4 seconds before it wears off. Since crits proc this and Flurry it makes it even easier to keep up.
This is one of the better shaman abbilities, a flat 10% means that you regenerate your mana better with Shamanistic rage, and your WF procs for more damage than usual, the key to being a good enhancement shaman is Attack Power
This is a fairly useful talent to have put to use in a raiding guild's melee DPS/tank group.
I am using a 1.5 weapon on main hand and a 1.8 weapon on offhand. Although they aren't the hard hitters (I have 2 HWL Cleavers with Crusader for pure ownage) they hit fast, crit more often, and put out less damage, and consequently generate less aggro.
Very nice to use when you break the 20-25% crit barrier, as Windfury and Flurry will ensure the proc stays up, and as said above, excellent to get mana back with Shamanistic Rage.
The only thing to watch out for, in raiding situations, would be for the aggro - you have to crit for this to proc, and that draws aggro to you. Possible solutions to that problem could be dropping a Tranquil Air Totem (not viable if you are in Tank group, but acceptable if other melee DPSers are around you, such as rogues) or getting an aggro reducing trinket such as Grace of Earth (Badge return reward from Cenarion Hold).
In raids, and in my opinion, you are there to buff the melee hitters first, do DPS as second priority, control the group's aggro when needed and act as paramedic as thir priority.
In solo, well, you are there to kill. As fast as you can. Period. In solo, I use heavy hitting 1h weapons for burst damage - no need to worry over aggro in that situation.
This spell is getting a major buff in the upcoming patch. The main problem with this spell was that it caused threat and with shaman critting often it was enough to pull agro. The threat it generates has been removed which will help out a lot. Even with slow weapons, this buff will never leave you in raids. With a 10 second length you are almost always guaranteed to buff yourself and your party constantly. Unleashed rage is not too helpful for pvp because by your beginning burst damage is unaffected by it.
does it stack with other unleashed rages' if you have 2 shamans?
Sounds like fun for pvp. I'd much prefer something else in terms of raiding enhancement buffs though.
i like it, step in the right direction for axe swingers
