This talent is not as good as people believe. The main thing about this talent is that it increases WF totem attack power. The thing is the only reason you use this totem is for warriors for extra rage generation. The slightly more damage per windfury they do would not increase their rage generation. The two talent points could be moved elsewhere such as guardian totems that reduce the cooldown of grounding totem to help with spells.

Has anyone done testing on Improved Weapon Totems not giving the 30% increased attack power gain on everyone in the group and not just the shaman? From multiple vods and from talking to shamans. While looking at our current attack power, only the shaman gets the bonus attack power from Improved Weapon Totems. While everyone else is stuck with only a 315 attack Power gain. Which means every shaman that has spec’d into this talent is giving no benefit to any melee in their group.

I just wanted to chime in and provide a bit of context around this issue, and an update on our plans for it.

The current behavior of the 强化武器图腾 talent actually does match 1.12 and the reference client, and this talent behaved in this way for its entire existence during original World of Warcraft. It was, however, recorded as a bug shortly after it was introduced late in 2006 and was fixed very early in Burning Crusade. Since this is a clear bug that was fixed relatively quickly in the original game, we do currently have plans to fix this (as well as several other issues that were similarly bugged in original WoW but were clearly incorrect behavior) in an update coming in the near future.

Hunter Buffs - Auras and Buffs Will Properly Apply to Ranged Attack Power in WoW Classic Phase 6

Many helpful auras and buffs that improve Attack Power will properly apply to Ranged Attack Power in WoW Classic Phase 6, making 猎人s more viable!

With this change, World Buffs like 芬古斯的狂暴 and 屠龙者的咆哮 will benefit 猎人s, as well as the AP from the 萨满祭司 set bonus 图腾之力 and 圣骑士 set bonus 神圣之力, which both increase Attack Power by 140. While this is listed under the bugfix section of the patch notes, it's worth highlighting that this was never fixed in vanilla WoW.

Phase 6 also fixes 强化武器图腾, a bug that was documented in vanilla but not fixed until Burning Crusade. With both of these changes, we have to wonder if Classic Burning Crusade is on the way, leading Blizzard to depart from #nochanges to improve the game in future content patches.

Items and Content

This patch includes the following new pursuits:

Being exalted with your 战歌峡谷 faction now offers epic-quality leg gear.
Crafted nature resist pieces are now available with 塞纳里奥议会 reputation.
Nature resist enchants for leg and head gear are now available from 祖尔格拉布.
Several skill books for new skill ranks (防护冰霜结界, 防护暗影结界, 烈焰震击, 造食术, 刺骨, 凶猛撕咬) are obtainable.
There are now PvP objectives in 希利苏斯 and 东瘟疫之地.
塞纳留斯指环 is available from 谦卑的馈赠. (Corrected) ~~An Epic nature resist ring is available from a quest to kill an Elemental Lord in Cenarion Hold.~~
The 银色黎明 token system offers a way for players to earn gear by turning in components at Light’s Hope Chapel.

Please note: The release of some items above may come before or after this patch.

Bug Fixes

Many helpful auras and buffs that improve Attack Power now properly apply to Ranged Attack Power.

Developers’ notes: This was an issue that was the result of a technical limitation in original World of Warcraft that was fixed in later updates to the game. During internal testing we discovered that this issue also affected the 圣骑士 and 萨满祭司 6-piece Tier 3 set bonuses, and in fixing that, we decided to also fix it in many other situations where buffs and auras should affect Ranged Attack Power.

Resolved an issue that caused the 暗月卡片：虚空 to sometimes stop functioning for 牧师s talented into 救赎之魂 after logging out and back into the game with the trinket equipped.
Resolved an issue that caused the 萨满祭司 talent 强化武器图腾 to not apply its damage improvements to other players in the 萨满祭司’s party.

Developers’ notes: This talent was introduced late in original World of Warcraft and behaved in this unintended way until the beginning of Burning Crusade. It was considered a bug at that time, and will now be resolved here, as was originally intended.

Fixed some terrain exploits in 藏宝海湾 that allowed players to grief players arriving or leaving via Flight Masters with no fear of reprisal from guards or other players.
Resolved an issue that caused the Mail recipient auto-complete filter to behave in a frustrating way when attempting to send a mail to someone who shares a similar name with a member of your current guild.
Stabling a pet with 潜伏 active no longer prevents other pets with 潜伏 from using the same ability.
Resolved an issue that caused a 猎人’s 自动射击 ability to occasionally experience a slight delay on recast if its cast was interrupted by 瞄准射击.

Additional bug fixes will be added in future builds of the 1.13.6 PTR. Please use the in-game bug report tool for any issues you encounter, and thank you for testing with us!
