what is the difference between goblin and gnomish engineering?

I have red the quest discription for each way.
Goblin: Explosives and weapons(guns i guess)
Gnomish: Usable devices
If anyone has more information or has advanced in one, please update us!
Some item or recipe would be usefull to be listed.

Well its pretty easy to find, go to Ratchet and talk to Tinkerwiz in the engineering shop. He will give you the choice Goblin or Gnomish,(not sure where alliance one is) I chose goblin because i happen to be quite fond of explosives

I talked to the Engineer Trainer in SW's Dwarven District (south past the anvils) and got Goblin, and Gnome Engineering quests. Then I took the book he gave me to the Master Engineer in IF's Tinker Town (just catch the tram) and got a pledge that I can right-click to sign and be a Gnome Engineer. I Still have to go to the Goblin in Ratchet and make up my mind.

I know that Gnomish are mostly trinkets like death ray and cloaking device.

I had learned goblin engineering before, then unlearned it to do skinning, then i got engineering again, how do i get goblin engineering the second time theres no way for me to get the quest again is there!

I am a priest engineer and not sure what type of engineering I should use. Which one has cloth goggles? Should I go with explosives from goblin or perhaps trinkets from gnomish? There are some items I don't want to have because I am a priest, like goblin jumper cables and recombobulator. What I really want is to have a bunch of summon thingys, like the dragonlings and combat chickens. But it doesn't really say what's what. So if I want some explosives, some goggles, some trinkets, what should I get?

Lol you dont need goblin OR gnomish engineering to get the goggles or jumper cables.(well at least for green tinted and flying tiger goggles) Those are too low level to require a kind of engineering yet, you get goblin and gnomish engineering later on. Oh yeah, get Gnomish engineering so u can get cool stuff like death-rays

There is a quest starter for Goblin/Gnomish

Tinkerwiz in Ratchet (observatory) for Horde, and Lilliam Sparkspindle in Stormwind for Alliance

so if you're stuck (the goblin or gnomish master trainers wont talk to you), check them out.

i have goblin engineering and i want to change to gnomish is this possible or not ?

not possible, no way not even if you unlearn and learn another... at least a few patches back, now who knows?

What if you abandom the quests? I abandomed my goblin engineering quest, and now I can't find it / getting it back. I need help immidiately ! ^^
