Abilities Earned While Leveling from 50 to 60 in Shadowlands
The Level Squish necessitated a reassigning of the Levels at which each Ability is learned. Inevitably some of those fell beyond the maximum Level for Battle for Azeroth. These are the Abilities that Shaman will gain access to as they level through Shadowlands.

- level 54 - Astral Shift lasts an additional 4 sec.

- level 52 - Elemental Fury now also causes your healing critical strikes to heal for 250% instead of the normal 200%.

Blizzard's Shaman Patch Notes
Blizzard has released Patch Notes including the class changes for Shadowlands. The following is the class change summary for Shaman.
Elemental
PvP Talent changes
Control of Lava now increases Flame Shock’s damage by 25%, instead of increasing Lava Burst’s damage.
Enhancement
Windfury Weapon’s proc damage has been increased by 240%.
Healing Surge healing has been increased by 50%.
Maelstrom Weapon spending abilities have had their damage or healing increased by 30%.
Feral Spirit’s pet damage has been increased 270%.
Hot Hand additionally resets the cooldown of Lava Lash when it activates.
Ice Strike damage has been increased by 75%.
Forceful Winds Windfury damage bonus per stack has been reduced to 35% (was 50%).
Lashing Flames duration has been increased to 20 seconds (was 12 seconds).
Elemental Blast damage has been increased by 25%.
Hailstorm’s Frost Shock damage bonus has been lowered to 15% (was 35%).
Fire Nova damage has been increased by 75%.
Classes: Shaman
General
New Passive: Improved Reincarnation – Reincarnation now revives you with an additional 20% health.
All Shaman can now use the following abilities:
New Ability: Flametongue Weapon – Imbue your weapon with the element of Fire for 1 hour, causing each of your attacks to deal additional Fire damage.
Chain Heal – Heals the friendly target, then jumps to heal the 2 most injured nearby allies (3 for Restoration). Healing is reduced by 30% with each jump.
Healing Stream Totem – Summons a totem at your feet for 15 seconds that heals an injured party or raid member within 40 yards for every 2 seconds.
Lightning Shield – Surround yourself with a shield of lightning for 30 minutes. Melee attackers have a 100% chance to suffer Nature damage. Only one Elemental Shield can be active on the Shaman at a time.
Chain Lightning – Hurls a lightning bolt at the enemy, dealing Nature damage and then jumping to additional nearby enemies. Affects 3 total targets.
Flame Shock – Sears the target with fire, causing Fire damage and then additional Fire damage over 18 seconds.
Frost Shock – Chills the target with frost, causing Frost damage and reducing the target's movement speed by 50% for 6 seconds.
PvP Talent changes:
Skyfury Totem, Grounding Totem, and Counterstrike Totem now have 50 health (was 5). Any damage taken automatically kills the totem.
Elemental
New Ability: Spiritwalker's Grace – Calls upon the guidance of the spirits for 15 seconds, permitting movement while casting Shaman spells. Castable while casting.
Flame Shock now has an 18 second duration (was 24 seconds).
Lightning Shield: Generates 5 Maelstrom for the Shaman when attacked.
Lava Surge proc chance reduced to 10% (was 15%).
Ancestral Guidance (Talent) no longer has a global cooldown.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Echoing Shock (replaces Call the Thunder) – Shock the target for Elemental damage and create an ancestral echo, causing your next direct damage or healing spell to be cast a second time 1 second later for free.
New Talent: Static Discharge – Discharge excess energy from your Lightning Shield, dealing Nature damage to an enemy within 40 every 0.5 second for 3 seconds. Targets with your Flame Shock on them are preferred.
Elemental Blast now increases your Critical Strike, Haste or Mastery by 3% instead of stat ratings and generates 30 Maelstrom. Elemental Blast Overload generates 15 Maelstrom.
Totem Mastery has been removed.
Ascendance now fires a Lava Burst at all of your Flame Shock targets, and refreshes their Flame Shock durations to up to 18 seconds upon activation.
Primal Elementalist Primal Fire Elemental's Meteor now capped at 8 targets.
Primal Elementalist Primal Storm Elemental's Eye of the Storm now capped at 6 targets per pulse.
Enhancement
Maelstrom resource and Maelstrom bar have been removed.
New Ability: Windfury Weapon (replaces Windfury passive) – Imbue your main-hand weapon with the element of Wind for 30 minutes. Each main-hand attack has a 25% chance to trigger two extra attacks, dealing Physical damage each.
New Ability: Windfury Totem – Summons a Windfury Totem with 5 health at the feet of the caster for 2 minutes. Party members within 30 yards have a 10% chance when they auto-attack to swing an extra time.
Maelstrom Weapon has been redesigned – When you deal damage with a melee weapon, you have a chance to gain Maelstrom Weapon, stacking up to 10 times. Each stack of Maelstrom Weapon reduces the cast time of your next damage or healing spell by 20% and increase the damage or healing of your next spell by 20%. A maximum of 5 stacks of Maelstrom Weapon can be consumed at a time.
Feral Spirit now generates one stack of Maelstrom Weapon immediately, and one stack every 3 seconds for 15 seconds.
Lightning Shield now has an additional effect – When Lightning Shield deals damage, you have a 50% chance to generate a stack of Maelstrom Weapon.
Chain Lightning has an additional effect – If Chain Lightning hits more than 1 target, each target hit by your Chain Lightning increases the damage of your next Crash Lightning by 20%.
Stormbringer no longer causes your next Stormstrike to trigger no cooldown, but will still have a 5% chance to reset the remaining cooldown of Stormstrike.
Lava Lash damage reduced by 50%, now has a 12 second cooldown, and has an additional effect: Damage is increased by 100% if your offhand weapon is imbued with Flametongue Weapon.
Frostbrand has been replaced with Frost Shock.
Frost Shock shares a cooldown with Flame Shock.
Frost Shock and Flame Shock now have their cooldowns shortened by Haste.
Flametongue has been replaced with Flametongue Weapon.
Rockbiter has been removed.
Crash Lightning now deals reduced damage against additional targets.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Lashing Flames (replaces Boulderfist) – Lava Lash now increases the damage of Flame Shock on its target by 100% for 12 seconds.
New Talent: Stormflurry (replaces Landslide) – Stormstrike has a 25% chance to strike the target a second time for 40% of normal damage.
New Talent: Ice Strike (replaces Totem Mastery) – Strike your target for Frost damage, snaring them by 50% for 6 seconds. Ice Strike will also reset the cooldown of your Flame and Frost Shock spells.
New Talent: Elemental Assault (Passive) (replaces Overcharge) – Stormstrike damage is increased by 15%, and Stormstrike now generates 1 stack of Maelstrom Weapon.
New Talent: Fire Nova (replaces Searing Assault) – Erupt a burst of fiery damage from all targets affected by your Flame Shock, dealing Fire damage to up to 6 targets within 8 yards of your Flame Shock targets.
New Talent: Stormkeeper (replaces Fury of Air) – Charge yourself with lightning, causing your next 2 Lightning Bolts or Chain Lightnings to deal 150% more damage and be instant cast.
Hot Hand now causes melee auto-attacks with Flametongue Weapon active to have a 5% chance to reduce the cooldown of Lava Lash by 75% and increase the damage of Lava Lash by 100% for 8 seconds.
Elemental Blast now increases your Critical Strike, Haste or Mastery by 3% instead of stat ratings.
Forceful Winds Windfury bonus damage is now 50% (was 80%).
Hailstorm has been redesigned – Each stack of Maelstrom Weapon consumed increases the damage of your next Frost Shock by 35%, and causes your next Frost Shock to hit 1 additional target per Maelstrom Weapon stack consumed.
Sundering no longer has a Maelstrom cost and now has a 6% mana cost.
Ascendance now causes you to explode with Nature damage upon activation, dealing damage to all enemies within 8 yards.
Restoration
New Ability: Water Shield – The caster is surrounded by globes of water, granting 50 mana per 5 seconds. When a melee attack hits the caster, the caster regains 2% of their mana. This effect can only occur once every few seconds. Only one of your Elemental Shields can be active on you at once.
New Ability: Mana Tide Totem – Summons a Mana Tide Totem at the feet of the caster for 8 seconds, granting 100% increased mana regeneration to party and raid members within 10 yards.
Earth Shield is no longer a Talent and is learned by all Restoration Shaman at level 22.
Riptide duration is now 18 seconds (was 15 seconds).
Flame Shock now has an 18 second duration (was 21 seconds).
Lava Surge proc chance reduced to 10% (was 15%).
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Surge of Earth (replaces Earth Shield) – Consume up to 3 charges of Earth Shield to heal up to 3 allies near your Earth Shield target per charge consumed.
Torrent now increases the initial heal from Riptide by 20% (was 30%).

Enhancement Shaman Shadowlands Class Change Highlights
REMOVED
The Maelstrom resource and accompanying bar have been removed. Enhancement will return to a specialization based on managing a number of cooldown abilities with high points built around repeat casts of Stormstrike.

Redesigned.
元素突袭
resets the cooldown of Flame Shock and Frost Shock when a Shaman uses Stormstrike. Searing Assault metamorphosizes into a powerful fire attack, striking the foe for significant Fire damage and causes their Searing Totem to cast incredibly fast. It also triggers Flame Shock to rapidly dish out its damage-over-time burn effects to melt enemies.

Generates five stacks of Maelstrom Weapon instantly and another stack every second for a short duration.
风暴守护者
Your next two Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning spells are now instant cast and deal bonus damage. It also benefits from Maelstrom Weapon, lowering Stormkeeper’s cast time so the Enhancement Shaman can chain powerful abilities together to pummel down foes quickly.

I believe in the build that is being pushed today, regardless of what you did prior to pressing Echoing Shock, it should only actually do something with whatever button you press after activating Echoing Shock. Check it out when the PTR or beta realms are up and reply here if that is not the case.
Some covenant abilities may not fully work with it yet. The core Shaman buttons should be working with it.

There are no plans to change Flame Shock’s duration.

I’m very deeply concerned about this change back to just 5 total stacks of Maelstrom Weapon.
To clarify: this is just a tooltip error. The current build you have should still have a 10 maximum stack of Maelstrom Weapon. In-game, you are probably seeing two different buffs, one that stacks up to 5, and one that stacks up to 10. The one that stacks up to 5 will be hidden in a future build. The Maelstrom Weapon tooltip is just pointing to the wrong place for maximum stacks.
We hear there are some problems with Chain Harvest and this iteration of Maelstrom Weapon, that will be looked into and fixed as well.

In this week’s PTR and Beta builds, several changes have been made to bring the Maelstrom resource back for Elemental Shaman. Many months ago, we had opted to try not having a special resource on the Shaman class, and went forward with the plan to remove Maelstrom and rebuild Fulmination as the ability it was prior to the Legion expansion. Ever since the first Alpha builds, we have been watching reactions and listening to how people feel about using the Fulmination buff. Many changes were made to make more and more spells and abilities interact with Fulmination, any sort of randomness was removed, and we’ve wound up back in a place that feels almost exactly like Maelstrom, only instead of an easy-to-read resource bar on your unit frame, it’s hidden as a stacking buff in your buff bars.
After some discussion in the past weeks, we have decided to just revert the changes that replaced Maelstrom with Fulmination.
There are still a few remaining places where Fulmination may be mentioned, but those will either be changed to interact with Maelstrom, or be redesigned entirely in an upcoming build.

We have some significant updates in this week’s builds of the Beta and the PTR.
Elemental Shaman
The current version of Fulmination and Seismic Thunder in Shadowlands has a lot of different abilities generating a lot of different buffs, making things feel disjointed. In this Beta build, we’re removing Seismic Thunder entirely, and pushing more of the core abilities to interact with the Fulmination mechanic.
Chain Lightning (and overloads) that strike two or more targets now generate one stack of Fulmination.
Lava Burst (and overloads) now generate one stack of Fulmination.
Earthquake’s cast time is reduced by 20% per stack of Fulmination, up to a cap of 100% reduction (instant cast), and Earthquake’s damage is increased by 20% per stack of Fulmination, up to 160%. Earthquake now also consumes all stacks of Fulmination when cast.
The recent Totem Mastery redesign hasn’t turned out as well as we hoped, so we’ve scrapped that talent entirely and shuffled some talents around for Elemental Shaman:
Elemental Blast has been moved to the level 25 row in place of Totem Mastery.
Aftershock now only works from Earth Shock casts and no longer has any interaction with Earthquake
Echoing Shock now only duplicates targeted damage or healing spells.
To replace the empty spot left by Elemental Blast on the level 15 row, we have added a new talent, Static Discharge.
Static Discharge is an active ability with a 30 second cooldown that requires you to have Lightning Shield active. Using Static Discharge will cause some quick zaps of Nature damage to strike enemies over 3 seconds, prioritizing any target that is afflicted with your Flame Shock debuff.
Enhancement Shaman
We’re happy with the last big round of changes to Enhancement Shaman from a few weeks ago, but had a few talents that aren’t working out. Similar to Elemental, Totem Mastery has been replaced on the level 25 row, and the Cycle of the Elements talent has also been replaced on the level 35 row.
New level 25 talent: Ice Strike – 15 second cooldown. Strike your target for Frost damage, snaring them by 50% for 6 seconds. Ice Strike will also reset the cooldown of your Flame and Frost Shock spells.
New level 35 talent: Elemental Assault (passive) – Stormstrike deals 15% increased damage, and generates 1 stack of Maelstrom Weapon.

Oh baby, oh baby baby was my first thought. Second was all hail the unpruner! I was maining shaman in shadowlands regardless. I know blizzard likes I feels and this feels pretty damn good. I love totems are coming back with mana tide and windfury especially. Such great iconic abilities from classic that makes you feel like you are bringing a special buff to the raid. I like that my hybrid class will be able to toss a chain heal and drop a healing totem as enhancement. Im even excited about water shield. Can't wait to get my hands on this and cause all the elemental destruction that thrall and my boy rehgar will be envious. Gosh just all the things all the damn things.

As maining Ele Shammy for about 15 years, I want to explain how those changes will never be good and how Blizzard can change this.
First of all we will be talking about surviving in our beloved game, and lets say Shamans are total trash in this. With very low mobility
and no proper surviving skill, Shamans basically a good and quick target in PvP and in PvE too.
( YES we have Earth Ele but will be talk about this later abit)
Shamans need BACK
! like MUST ! I don't know why Blizzard removed this, I guess Hazzikostas' main got smoked really hard by Ele Shaman back then in Legion. Again,
must come back as a basic skill from lvl 1. Implicitly.
Specializations changed from Restoration to Elemental/Restoration? Good move but still 2 different utilities for movement.
Now,when we can run away from our enemies, the enemy still can get you, kill you, and obviously less likely waste your time.
So Shamans need some kind of thing to save our brave asses, and Shamans have nothing good : Mail Armor-its just for record,
- them can press on it all day,It will not save them ! Never was and never will. Absorb shields never were good enough. Why ,Blizzard, still giving us to choose between

,some kind of game in a place where it shouldn't be. You can run but not far or u can live but not for too long?
PLEASE Blizzard, put at least Saving utilities separately from movement (Tier #3 and Tier #5).
The Earth Elemental is great but his 5 min CD, in our realities I would easily put on 3 min CD.
Blizzard have to think about some Great Elemental Save, some form to Immune direct damage. Maybe some Tornado Form that gives Immune to all income dmg and damaging all enemies in 8 yards,or get them stunned, or whatever.. there is a tons things u can think about.. but instead ...

Anybody notice how for elemental, chain lightning in both old and new says "affects 3 total targets", but in live servers it's 5 total targets. Is this a nerf or a typo/bug?

With the advent of Windfury totem (12 YARDS!), and to a lesser extent Searing Totem, it looks like my enhancement shaman is gonna be tethered in place once again.
I was ecstatic to know in recent expansions that I wouldn't have to waste GCDs replacing totems every time I had to move a bit, or when they expire. This is seriously going to be annoying in PvP, or any PvE mechanic that requires significant movement (nearly all boss fights).
Shaman, especially enhancement, have been one of the most heavily GCD-limited classes in the game, so ...
please stop tying GCD-wasting totems directly to DPS output.
I agree totems are a class aesthetic and should definitely stay. But they should be UTILITY cooldowns. Earthbind/Tremor/Capacitor are all GREAT totems that provide equal parts identity and utility without being ham-hocked into any rotations.
Let my shaman be free of his mandatory, arbitrary, wasteful totemic leash! Do not force shaman to replace totems every (x+1) yards!

so basically the main problem is still there. everything depends on on thing which in turn dpends on procs. in bfa on maelstrom in shadow lands on buff and procs. if you don't get procs you are doomed. yes we have more buttons and all that but still they are tied one thing.
if we use our buffs for dps then we have to wait the get them for a heal to survive and vice versa. and if we are unlucky and don't get procs we have to sit and pray to RNG god with nothing to do because the long cooldowns. yeah sooooo much better.

So am I missing something here or can we get about 15-20 seconds downtime between storm/fire elementals?
1. Earth shock into flame shock
2. Wait 6 seconds then flame shock a third target
4. Wait 6 seconds flame shock a fourth target.
5. Use necrolord class ability for a 5th flame shock
6. Earth Shock into Echo into lava burst for 10 meat balls. To reduce the CD by 60 seconds.
Obviously this would require surge of power, echo and necrolords covenant.

Thank you again for giving us Hope to wield 2 Handers Since Vanilla but again you went ahead and destroyed it do the changes you have removed all the possibilities of Procs with other types of DPS and removing the fury of wind talent and now you are just forcing people to use 2x 1 hander weapons just because you have removed the CD on Windfury Proc like how it was in Vanilla and Half of BC but you have made it so that nobody will enjoy playing with a 2Hander due to the calculations and reductions and making Searing Assault talent to just work with an off-hand weapon and changing hailstorm to a useless reset of CD for a bunch of spells. After 15 years I don't think I'll join back the Pro scene. I'll be chilling in (US-Illidan and EU-Ravencrest).

I have a lot of questions for enhacement shaman:
- Can you enhance both weapons with windfury? Stacks of forceful winds will be double?
- Can you use covenant skills instant with maelstrom?
- Windfury totem stack with windfury weapon enhacement?
- Can you use 2 totems of the same element at the same time? Like Wind rush totem + windfury totem.
- Can you enhance both weapons with Flametongue? It improve stacks for Hot hands talent?

Why have you guys still not addressed this? Why is feral spirits awful unless you talent into it? Why is Ascendance not baseline? Why is Ascendance not a 30 second duration w/ a 3 minute cd? Why not make it a 2 minute cd since it only lasts 15 seconds? Are you going to address our 90000 gcds? Thank you for bringing shocks back :). Any chance we can get wrath style totem placement/buffs so that we actually "get our totems back". I love that shocks are coming back.. but I'm assuming they'll be on the gcd as well? Does anyone there even play shaman? There aren't many of us left tbh, and you guys are doing a really good job of keeping it that way :(.

I want totems to be part of the shaman identity again (when you could choose 4 and summon them at the same time also side note: take em off the GCD), and this is mostly for elemental. Enhc get windfury back, resto got tide and stream. Elemental got nothing... they are only optional. Totems are my favorite part of the shaman identity and they are mostly optional. Elemental atm is just boring and bad, not really different from mages and just worst. Revamp the spec. An idea i had is maybe make it revolve more around overload (one of my favorite aspect of the spec), where it procs more often on spells and itself , for example: a cooldown totem that gives higher chance to proc overload and make it proc like minimum 3 times, or when you consume 8 fulmination for the next few seconds all your spells overload x number of times. Its always so satisfying when a big ray of lava burst / lighting bolt happens

And like RSV88 say - add SS lighting dmg ,that not bad,but from classic no have. But back crit chans/Nature dmg buff will be good.
Get back Ascendance to spell book with lightin animation and Nature dmg.

Minor changes to Enhancement Shamans
First, I would like to state that the changes to enhancement shamans are excellent and are in the right direction.
First off Talents for enhancement shamans.
Level 15- All talents seem good. Just depends on other talent choices.
Level 25- Lets say the obvious one Totem Mastery needs to be change AGAIN. Please Please blizzard don't leave Totem mastery like that its useless.The other two talents from level 25 are great. Just depends on other talent choices.
Level 30- Fine with all three talents nothing really changed.
Level 35- These were awesome and well deserved changes. All can be used in different builds depending on other talents. I also don't think Hailstorm is over tuned. I know crazy. But I think that's true. Using Maelstrom weapon for Frost Shock adds flavor to the enhancement shaman. And shouldn't be changed. But, only way blizzard should change it if they did is by taking 75% to 70%. I don't believe many people would take it if Blizzard does changes it too much.
level 40- Talents are fine.
Level 45- Sundering is probably the best option but I think all could be used in different builds. I don't see stormkeeper useful on enhancement shamans stopping and casting a 1.5 cast then doing abilities is not very fun.
Level 50- nothing changed all depends on other talent choices.
For Covenant abilities. I think all need to be revisited again. In someway or other.
Venthyr- Chain Harvest, Seems fun. Cast time way too long for enhancement shaman. Make it instant for Enhancement but increase the CD to 2 minutes. Or something along those lines.
Night Fae- Fae Transfusion, Once again seems fun in AOE situations only. That is the only time its useful. And once again channeling something when you play shaman.. Is terrible.
Necrolord- Primordial wave probably the one of best option for enhancement but still again cast time... Really blizzard if you can give other classes more instant skills for shaman too. Please
Kyrian- Vesper Totem the other great option for enhancement. Look an instant spell. If you use 2 frost shocks with hailstorm at 10 stacks of maelstrom and probably a stormstrike. Is what I believe is the best combo to use after placing Vesper Totem.
If we are talking just basic Covenant abilites
1. Necrolords shield first. enhancement squishy
Everything else is bad. Lets be honest. Door of shadows takes too long only decent for high mythic+ to skip stuff. Soul Shape why.... I am wolf or raptor. Not good. Summon Steward I really wish this was better. Probably rate Steward second if I really had to choose and the other two are just bad for shaman.
Overall, I like the burst. The single target and AoE damage is good. I really like the idea making enhancement shaman really haste based. Enhancement Only will get better with gear that's for sure. I could really see haste and mastery being the most important. With Critical strike matching mastery to be just as good.

We need totem slots on our back, but only 2. like the challenge set from MoP. so as a enhance we can have windfury totem and healingstream totem on our back so we dont have to place it all the time when we run in pvp and m+. maybe ele use totem mastery and have all 4 or make it 2 with 2 buffs. wind rush totem on your back so you can gather every one up and run, instead of just place it and run over for a little movespeed buff. resto with spirit link that comes to you. this is just something i just dreamed about. ( and a tank spec )

I've already sense that to make a good damage you have to do a lot of preparation, stacks and so on. At least it will take few GCDs.
You have plenty ways of building your final and most satisfying strike but...developers didn't address nor fix enhancement shaman survivability.
On PVP situation you will be guys dead twice before you can do anything. Rogue will kill you on one stun again.

I really enjoy seeing the synergy in the enhancement tree and abilities. However, I also agree there are still some inefficiencies or general lack of survivability improvements, at least in the talent tree.
The impression I'm getting from the current state is two, possibly 3, distinct flavors of play-style mostly defined by the level 35 talent row:
- Elemental Blast, Stormfury, Elemental Assault, and Stormkeeper: increased focus on maelstrom generation and higher burst single target spenders
- Forceful Winds, Stormfury, Hailstorm, Crashing Storm: switches to a more passive play-style with chain lightning/lightning bolt maelstrom spenders and better balanced single target/AoE through hailstorm / crashing storm.
- Lashing Flames, Hot Hand, and Fire Nova: provides more lava lash usage between Stormstrike procs and potentially even more AoE
People have already pointed out the awkward feeling of tab targeting flame shock to really make use of Fire Nova. My suggestion would be an addition to Lashing Flames to spread Flame Shock at a 3 second duration on lava lash to a couple of nearby enemies; just long enough to quickly follow up with respectable Fire Nova AoE damage without spending several Flame Shock cooldowns seting up. This would avoid some of the ramp up and reward further managing Flame Shocks on multiple clumps of enemies that are spread out
As for defensive abilities, I did see healing surge got roughly a 60% buff so that's nice, but that probably only puts it on par when taking the reduced Maelstrom generation into account. There are several conduit abilities that can add to this however; Healing Surge can get up to another 30% on self casts, another 40% on the next 3 following healing stream, and Earth Elemental can offer an additional 40% life at max rank if used early in a PvP encounter or predictable burst damage. This does come at the cost of damage focused conduits, but choices are supposed to be balanced as long as we are still keeping up with other classes.
I do think there was some missed opportunity there though, particularly with Ice Strike and Earthen Spike. Thematically, I would love to see Ice strike grant a substantial short term armor bonus to help weather melee and offset the lack of a shield. As for Earthen Spike, although I don't like the idea of making a conduit mandatory, it could also be a competitive option to synergize with the Vital Accretion conduit if it were to reduce the Earth Elemental cooldown by 10-20 seconds per cast bringing it closer to a 3 minute cooldown if used constantly.
Also, just make Hex instant cast already. The Crippling Hex finesse conduit could also help defensively if it didn't feel so awkward to use; This often comes at a tradeoff of another potency conduit anyways so it's mostly a quality of life improvement with a potential option for those looking to PvP.

so ... with all those bull%^&* buttons which do not enhance the gameplay (perhaps i should not have played demon hunter, the only class that seem a bit actual in the game), i expected the return of the offtank shaman. i still do not understand why mail class is underused and why the shaman lost that orientation that could be fun as hell and add potential tanks to the player pool :/ but a totem that could heal the broken leg oh a horse when the moon is red is good too i guess

I really enjoy the play style pf ele shaman, and talents actually are fun to mess around with, but there are so many wasted opportunities in shaman that it's equally sad.
the survivability of the class is awful, in enhancement you can cast instant heal in dire situations but they've removed the option from ele in order to get rid of maelstrom as a resource but then went back to it but didn't bring the instant heal back. yes they gave us Healing Stream Totem but it is weak.
as BM hunter I I can easily take on rares without concerns, same as druid, dk, dh, paladin, and now warrior. but shaman is a mix of relatively good ideas that sometimes not just don't match, but are problematic.
I really wish the address the core problems of shaman. I don't want another BFA without my ele shaman.
