Definitely solo farmable by a 60 Druid who wants the Idol of Ferocity.
Stealth down the tunnel in the main room at about 1 o'clock from the entrance. In the middle of this tunnel loop there will be an opening with two braziers. Pull Roccor as he passes by and bear it up. He has a stun so dont let you health get too terribly low assuming you can instantly heal. Also watch for the dogs: like all dogs in WoW they see through stealth.

While it lists him as a rare elite, he is no longer a rare spawn. He alway appears down the hallway past the arena entrance.

A good way to be able to heal yourself as a Druid when soloing, is to first use frenzied regeneration when at about 50% health, then next time you want to heal, use bash, switch to caster, heal, back into bear. Some good additions are Nature's Focus wich gives a chance to resist interruption when casting, Nature's Swiftness together with Healing Touch as a nice instant heal and also the Tauren's warstomp can give you time to get a Regrowth in.
Should be doable at lower lvls than 60 if you have a spec such as 0/30/21 for example.

I just fairly easily soloed him the other day. I am a 30/21 build, feral and restoration. pulled him with moonfire, quickly switched to bear form. Save your bash for heals, yes he in stunnable. BTW, I dont have very good gear, I have a few blues and some greens. GL :D

I fought Roccor three times, easy all three times. Start in cat, finish in bear. This boss can be stunned with Bash, so save that for when you're at about 1/2 life to shift out and Regrow&Rejuv.; The first two times, he dropped some blue shield - but the third time was the charm - he dropped the Idol of Ferocity and the recipe for Smoking Heart of the Mountain at the same time.
FERAL DRUID INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Ravage him and pull back to doorway
2) FFF, Rake and Claw until 5CP
3) Rip him, shift to bear
4) Tank him in bear - be sure to keep FFF and Demoralizing Roar up on him. When your HP are getting low, if you have lots of rage, use Frenzied Regen (saving bash). I don't recommend using Enrage. If you have low rage, Bash him and shift out for Rg/Rj and shift back into bear for the win.
Follow the link to Idol of Ferocity for some really good instructions on how to get to the boss and where to fight him so not to get adds.

Me (60 Rogue) a 55 Druid ust killed him to get the Relic. He roams the tunnel in front of the Houndmasters room. We cleared the Pats to have a safe fight. Droped a green BoE and the Idol of Ferocity. Hes easy to farm, you just have to kill 2-3 Pats to get to him. Also possible without clearing Pats.
For all who dont know where the Houndmaster is. If you enter the Instances, go straight into the big Hall and turn left down the tunnel (not where the Backdoor is).

Solo'd Roccor as 12/34/5 feral spec'd druid with sub-par gear (a lot of greens) and 5.2k armor in Bear form. Took 2 bash/heals, no pots.
One kill, Idol of Ferocity.

I am resto spec'd, have decent gear for my level I think. Just under 5k mana in caster form with pots, but with my feral set on, I have just under 5k armor in bear form and around 4600 hps with about 17% chance to crit (I think) and around 2500 mana (add innervate for about 5k mana total).
Would like to farm solo if possible. Suggestions? Will I get seen at 55? Do I need to clear groups of mobs to get to him?
Also, barring that, do you think a 55 druid and 54 BM specced hunter could farm him?
EDIT: The above didn't work. Was a pain to get hunter through. Definitely not worth it.
I just want the idol (then again those shoulders, even though they're cloth, aren't horrible for a druid in caster form I think). Might be switching to feral spec once innervate is given to all druids (unless swift mend is awesome).
EDIT: Was not able to solo in my feral gear at 54 (haven't quite hit 55 yet). Best I got him to was 40% or so. I ran out of mana and was not able to keep up heals. He was hitting me regularly for 300+ and nuking in the 200s with a nasty stun while in bear form. I WAS however able to sneak to him but it was really tough at 54 cause of the dogs--be careful, your milage may vary. I'll try him again in my resto set and see how that goes (I have close to 5k mana in taht set, with innervate around 10k, maybe I can get him that way, though I doubt it).
EDIT: Still can't solo at 56. I think my resto heavy build is not helping me here. Ferals would likely have an easier time. Got him down to about 25% twice but he's still making me bleed too bad. If I go in feral set, I run out of mana and if I go in resto set, I'm popping out of bear every five seconds to heal. Either way, no dice.
EDIT: WOOT! Finally solo'd at 58 and after him soloing me at least twice each level since 53, he dropped the Idol my first kill lol. Poetic justice I guess. Hrm, used no pots except for a gift of arthas I had laying around before fight (proc increase damage taken by 8) and I hit my Chained Essence of Eranikus at start of fight. Other than that, normal druidic type buffs and +10 stam food. I pulled him with Moonfire, slapped a rejuv on, got into bear, let my rage get pretty close to full after demo shout, then frenzied regen (wanted coolup to be ready at end of fight if needed). Then bash, regrowth, rejuv, bear, saved my insta heal for about 40% through fight, popped innervate at about 30% through fight, was pretty easy all told. GL! Hope the trials of one resto druid helps you in the future!
Cheers.

There's a good video showing how they path if you search under "Idol of Ferocity." I was able to sneak past them at 54 with Nightscape Boots (increase stealth level by 1) with little trouble once I learned the routes.
Beating the boss? That's another story. Haven't been able to do that yet at 54 (only tried twice though, will try again soon).

I just soloed this guy for the mantle of lost hope as a 60 priest. You can use mind soothe to get past all the humanoids to where he paths, then you have to stand between two groups and wait for him to path to you and pull him. You have to make sure your back is all the way against a wall otherwise the pats will aggro to you, but you would be surprised how close they can walk to you and not aggro and level 60. GL priesties solo farming the shoulders.

A priest can both get to, and solo Roccor without dying.
It helps if you have the Shadowforge Key to avoid the first pull, but if you don't, just mind control one of the guys. It'll break before either dies, but both will be low on health and easily finished off.
Proceed to the ring of the law. Enter on the side closest to the arena. You'll need to make good use of mind soothe, but you should be able to sneak past every group and reach Roccor.
Start out with a shield, making sure the 15s debuff is off or almost worn off when you pull him. If you're a shadow priest (like I am), just toss up VE and start melting face. If not, be ready to heal yourself a few times. Roccor IS fearable and will not pull adds if you fear him, so if you get low on health and mana, just fear and bandage yourself.
The first time I soloed him, he dropped the shoulders I've been after. Woot! =)

Lord Roccor seems to have changed a bit.
Easier to stealth to him now, as if the dog pats' routes have changed.
And he now drops Core of Elements, but I've yet to see a SmokingHeartMnt recipe.
He also does run as much during the fight. He used to dance back (not sure why) and come at you again. Seems to just stand toe to toe now.

one time i got a blue boe dagger which is not listed here and 2 times the shield. Idol 0 drops
so if you are still farming for this just don't give up.

He dropped, the cloth shoulders and bullets.

While other classes or specs could probably do this, I'll focus on how I did it. I did this at level 60, feral specced.
Firstly, zone in to BRD and cat stealth past the first two guards. Directly accross the large room is the tunnel entrance you want to take, which also happens to be the way to the Ring of Law.
Continue stealth, avoid being spotted by the dogs, and work your way down to the end of the loop. The end is classified by the entrance to a room with another boss with a large assortment of dogs. Uh oh, more dogs? No worries! You'll fight at the entrance, right between the two braziers. You will not get aggro from either the room or the pats going by.
Rebuff, turn into a bear, and wait. Roccor should pat right in front of you, and when he's in the clear without any mobs by him, faerie fire.
Proceed to maul/demo roar until you need to heal. He is STUNNABLE, so bash him, then heal yourself. Go bear again, use frenzied regen when low. Typically he should be dead by this point, but the frenzied regen should have bought you time to bash him again, so feel free to use it if you need to. Loot, be on your way, and be merry!

As a 60 (frost) mage, you can solo this aswell. It requires lots of blinking and watching out.
You need the right-middle room. So hug the wall, and go past the 2 guards. (You can kill them aswell, but watch out for the 2 patrols, (1 guard, 2 hounds, or 3 hounds) because if they come, you will die. Keep blinking around past the groups (be sure to blink through the middle of them) and when the patrols come, you can hug the wall to stay out of aggro range. You will come in the entrance of the Ring of the Law, here wait until you see roccor. Pull him without getting aggro from the other groups aswell, and kill him. He can stun and do a flame shock that interrups spellcasting, but if you stay out of range in frost nova, you can easily kill him. As a frost mage, its so much easier to kill him than a fire mage.
I soloed this alot of times, grinding for Heart of the Mountain.
Dishii 60 Mage Stormrage EU.

I mine BRD ever day. What Naik says is
true. Lord Roccor is there sometimes
and when he isn't a lone dog is in his
place.
Easy to pull into the Ring of Law by himself.
But, he isn't THAT easy. Hits very hard and
has a knockdown. Also will run from you
after a knockdown possible aggroing a patrol.
So pull him all the way in. A 60 rogue with
less than tier0 equip and major healing pot
can't solo it.

Roams in sort of a figure eight right near the beginning of the instance. He'll pass through the 'dog patrol room' (good a name as any) twice, uses different passages both times, both in and out. Part of the route goes through the jail area, so keep an eye open for him if you have business down there. He is a rare mob; his placeholder, if he's not up, is a lone bloodhound, walks the same path.

Solo'd it as a lvl 57 feral druid yes, and it was not that hard. Waited outside dog-room and be4 he was in front of me I started Enrage, pulled him with Faerie Fire (Feral). And he dropped Idol of Ferocity the 2nd time.
Potions needed: 1 × Major Healing Potion
The fight:
-Start doing dmg with Maul, don't forget to start with Demoralizing Roar!
-Go on till you have around 30% HP left. Swich out of bear to normal (Do that AFTER he stunned you!) and drink Major healing Potion. Go bear after.
-Now you can use Enrage again. And don't forget to use Demoralizing Roar again! Do some dmg with Maul, but never go below 10 rage, cuz you'll never know if you need it for Bash.
-Now if you have around 25% HP, use Bash (pray god he won't resist) and use Healing Touch + Rejuvenation, go bear again after you did that.
-Lord Roccor should be at ~25% HP now.
-Fight him for a while and build your rage bar up, if you have enough rage use Frenzied Regeneration.
-Lord Roccor should be dead now.
PS: Don't take any risks, like I did:
I had him to 10% and the fight took so long so I switched out of bear form to normal so I could finish with Moonfire spam, but he stunned me and killed me. If you are not in bear form you are dead very quick, so watch out for his stun when you switch out to drink a potion.
Good luck druids!

WHERE IN BRD IS THIS GUY?
评论来自
Allakhazam
I was a little confused when I first started trying to solo this guy because his path was apparently altered and I never ran BRD very often. Also, Atlas marks him as being in the huge dog patrol room where you first enter the instance, and he doesn't seem to like hanging out there anymore. However, I found Wuppy's post to be the most helpful, and currently have a nice little system for taking him down.
First, he's a rock elemental, and he's the only rock elemental I've seen in the area, so once you know what you're looking for, he's easy to spot. Second, he patrols the back of the Hall of Law (the cavern tunnel to the right of the Ring of the Law on the mini-map). He doesn't ramble all the way out to where the Hall of Law meets the huge dog patrol room, so you have to stealth around a bit to find him.
Now, the dogs. They see through stealth, so you have to be very careful around them. There are two patrols that wander the entire Hall of Law (not just the section where Lord Roccor is). One is three dogs and the other is two dogs and a little dwarf dude. The best way to avoid them is to hide in the first entrance to the Ring of the Law (on the left) and let them pass. I also successfully hid behind clumps of dwarves where the tunnel was a little wider. However, simply plastering yourself agaist the tunnel wall doesn't always work, even for a lvl 60, so it's safest to plan your hiding places to let the patrols pass. Finally, I suggest taking all your gear off for this part until you get the hang of it, because it's likely that you'll misjudge the distance between yourself and the patrols at least once, and you don't want your repair bill to be any higher than necessary.
Once you've successfully avoided the patrols, stealth around to the second entrance to the Ring of the Law (also to the left). Don't go in, because there are dogs inside, but you can safely un-stealth and put your gear on in the doorway between two braziers. Lord Roccor will eventually rumble around right in front of you. As long as he's not right next to a patrol, it should be safe to pull him. I haven't had any problems with this; he rumbles by you more often than the patrols due to his shorter path.
I won't go into too much detail about killing him, since plenty of people have already done so, and he IS rather easy. I will, however, confirm a couple of the previously mentioned suggestions:
- Use bear form. He does hit kinda hard sometimes, and you don't want to be squishy when he stuns you
- Use faerie fire. I don't have feral faerie fire, so I like to pull him with it in caster form, moonfire, rejuv, bear.
- Use demoralizing roar. It seems to help.
- Bash him before you switch out to heal. He hasn't resisted my stun once yet, and it can save you some HP when he's not hitting you in squishy caster form.
I flubbed up the first time I killed him and wasted a health pot, but I haven't needed it since. He's rather fun to solo, IMHO.
Happy Killing! Good Luck getting your Idol!

As others have said, in patch 1.10 Lord Roccor spawns every time. He now patrols in a short path in the back of the Ring of Law. Druids can stealth back there, be careful of the dogs. If you time it right, you can get back to the back of the ring where there is a red colored entry to the area below the main ring where you can pull and fight Roccor. He isn't very tough, about the same as some of the troll mini-bosses in Sunken Temple, for those of you familiar with farming the leather shoulder armor there.

Just for the Druids out there that are still struggling with him.
1) Start off with a Faerie Fire, Demoralizing Roar Asap.
2) Timing for the first Bash is crucial. Notice he has some form of ground tremor 1 second stun? Yes, it can interrupt your heal. Time your bash properly, such that you have 1.8-2k odd HP missing, and his ground tremor has JUST gone off.
3) After the heal, back to bear form, re-faerie and demoralizing. From now on,
do NOT spend your rage. Wait until you have 75-odd rage, frenzied regeneration.
4) Watch your HP shoot back up. Meanwhile, bash will still be on cooldown.
Keep mauling, but keep 10 rage for Bash once cooldown is done.
5) The second and final bash's timing is essential once again. Same guidelines.
6) You should be near 90%-ish hp. Now maul that damn elemental down :).
Hope this helps

U can solo him at the entrance to the area below the ring of law (the room with dogs and named guard). Hits hard, but can be stunned; not that hard. He runs away a bit, but if u stay at the entrance u should be ok.

In classic,
Appeared 4/4 times on resets, so is likely always up, not rare.
Lord Roccor patrols the jail tunnel
*only*
in a half circle behind/under the ring of the law. After several resets, he never leaves the tunnel or comes near the entrance, so the pull is best done at the entrance to the room with all the bloodhounds - there is sufficient space between two braziers to get him out of the way of the patrols and aggro nothing else at level 60.
I am heart of wild + nature swiftness spec, so my first kill required 1 nature's swiftness healing touch, 1 frenzied regneration, and 1 bash+regrowth+rejuvination to stay above 50% the whole fight. He has a fire dot that does moderate damage and stuns every 30 seconds or so. Soloable at 60 with high-end rare gear.

Lord Roccor is always up and is soloable at 60. Just run straight ahead from the entrance and dodge the mob packs. DO NOT USE STEALTH near the bloodhounds; they have a high chance of seeing you in stealth from far away but they rarely see you unstealthed even when up close.

As a L60 HOTW Druid this guy is quite easy to solo. The hardest bit is getting to him since the bloodhounds can detect you through stealth.
Stealth between first 2 mobs ahead of you when you enter the instance then follow around to the left. Go down the 2nd left path. Follow behind the pack of 3 dogs at a safe distance. You want to fight Roccor opposite the gap in the wall, between the two braziers. Pull him when he's right in front of you and drag him off a bit. Just maul him to death as a Bear. Drop form and heal if it looks like you might not get him down. He stuns but it's not a hard fight at all. Go back the way you came. There will be 2 packs with dogs so you'll want to wait in stealth on the crest of a mini hill before the last pack on the right in the loop section. They will look at you but won't aggro a L60. Once youre past them just stick to the right and sneak out.
He dropped the Idol of Ferocity on my 9th kill. Good luck!
