We are...Kaldorei!...And a human.....and a few worgen too.
Make Night Elves or Worgens recruit Satyr as an allied race Blizzard, this looks ridicilous. 10 men army.
I uhhh... cool I guess? Ya Night Elves!
incredible storytelling
Oh wow.. more Alliance propaganda on top of the bad ending.. great finale.. literally the only way to further ruin something already this bad
this whole expansion is defined by massive lore events relegated to 30 second ingame cutscenes instead of full blown cinematics
This really feels like a waste of the cinematic department's time.
This cutscene especially seems so hard to believe and I guess you could say unprofessional too with these clunky animations / facial expressions. They really need to work on them, especially since there are SO many in-game cutscenes, the N'zoth cinematic is 75% cutscene and it even thought it doesn't look as bad as it does in this one, it's still really weird-looking.
Confirmed: Tyrande is a keyboard turner (with mouse turning, the upper body would twist in that direction first, until it goes too far and the legs follow)
Saurfang, who was key in the War of Thorns: 4 fully rendered cinematics.Jaina, who was the Alliance focus of Kul Tiras: 1 promotional video/song, 3 rendered game engine cinematics (4 if you include Undercity)Tyrande, whose people were massacred and lands invaded: 2 clunky in-game "cutscenes" that use hacked-together animations to make them wobble their arms and heads around.
FOR THE ALLIANCE!
I guess Arathi is going to Horde then?Ah who am I kidding? It'll be Trollbane and the Human Potential winning that one as well.
And homeless, Tyrande.Don't forget about homeless.....Also this was never about hope. That was some @#$% Sylvanus made up because who the hell else thinks Malf, King of "I'm never home," is figure of hope? And what about the murdered? What about the corrupted like Captain Delayrn Summermoon or whatsername the Warden?Yeah, I don't like it. It's so obviously, ominously vague. You know this isn't Star Wars, right Blizz? You can't ramble about "the will of the Force" like that's an answer to real questions like "can we go home" and "will we get justice" and "can the Horde ever be trusted to keep a treaty again."And nobody goddamn cares about Elune's power level because it never mattered before. Elune never does anything -unless you really want to count her redeeming Lady Sathrah, and couldn't keep Xavius from corrupting one of her holiest relics in like 20 minutes. Legion clearly wanted to take "god figures" out of the game when they wiped out all the Naa'ru and Elune was probably saved by never being around to begin with.(That's the big flaw in this whole "loss of faith" subplot. That faith was only nominal to begin with and it's not like NElf Priests started loosing Talent Points or something.)No, this is a bad sign. This is a "here's a bone; go chew it so you sit down and shut up." Or maybe worse, like that WoW Staff Writer's interview from 2019, this is Blizz saying again "oh Tyrande got her revenge and it's all good what's the problem" like they don't understand how plot arcs are resolved and what material stakes are."We are united" is a battle cry that makes sense circa Cataclysm when Fandral Staghelm was making his move. It means nothing now.Wait, and how does that relate to how Tyrande sees the Alliance? Are we supposed to take the presence of the non-Kaldorei to mean she's forgiven Anduin? Goddamn it Blizzard. How are you this bad at storytelling?Oh hey at least Malf made it. He's there in front, raising his arm in wild jubilation. I missed him the first time, look for the brown-ish part of a large bush that's not holding stuff.(Also "Elune has given us the power to save ourselves!" is something you say when you know your goddess has done nothing to help. That's "I am one book away from becoming an atheist" levels of rationalized despair.)
Why is everyone talking about "hope" again?
Wasn't this a really old datamined cutscene at this point?*looks at date of upload* yeah! It's from 2018!So we hadn't actually seen it yet? lol
