Story-wise, Vulpera joining the Horde would make the most sense at this point. As for the Sethrakk joining the Alliance...I don't really see much a reason there. The most interaction we have with them is basically establishing our outpost near their temple, doing three quests for them, and then going "ooookay, we're out" once hearing about the whole faithless vs. faithful stuff.
Depending on racials, I'd go for Vulpura for sure. Although I agree that Ogres are overdue and I really want a big dumb Ogre Paladin... with two heads that argue about the "light" all the time... make it happen! Not a fan of gnomes, I'd even rather have fairies... who can be only ranged dps or ranged healer (no paladins, although that would be hilarious). little bitty characters seems to fit alliance well :)
Heh, fun, I wonder how long you've been holding on the mecagnome information, wowhead team :p Vulpera becoming an allied races were hardly ever a spoiler but mecagnomes was more of a "where the hell are they coming from?" thing.
I find it curious that the Vulpera have waaaaay more customization options than the Nightborne, maybe even Highmountain Taurens. The Nightborne feel like they were hurried and left incomplete.
I really wish they'd stop just 'making up' new races to make playable, when there are a huge number of races that have been in lore for decades, that historically have *actually* been part of the Horde or Alliance at one time or another, and have been barely touched. Forest Trolls? Jungle trolls are far too scrawny. Ogres? They've been promising them for years! I'd cream my jeans at the prospect of playable Nerubians! Even Gnolls would be better! Please Blizzard, stop pulling reskins of already playable races out of your ass just to satisfy blood elf/night elf/draenei/'Refuse-to-play-anything-not-pretty' players.
No Mechagnomes, please... so horde cute Vulepera and alliance dirty re-skin of that joke-race? and a robot? c'mon, is slap on the alliance's face.
Mechagnomes are my shortlist for alliance allied races. Broken would be my first choice, but I don't see them this expansion (maybe next one if we face old gods and the void more directly). I hadn't thought of the gnome junk town, it'd be a good hook for mechagnomes. And maybe some more tinker-themed gear, and other ways to give our characters a tinker feel to them (like mechanical hunter pets, but as glyphs). Imagine instead of casting spells, you pull out some steampunk spell-throwing gun (or a built in cannon arm for mechagnomes).
Please no more furries and no more midget races. Just give us an attractive race for once Void Elves are the only decent looking race released since the Blood Elves everything since has been creepy animals or little people. Why no pretty fairy race? Why no Bard class? You have such an interesting premise in making a Bard class using a harp and comboing your skills into songs to produce different effects and such would be amazing. It's an absolute trash game but check out the Bard's from Forsaken World, so far it's the only game that has come close to how I envision a Bard playing. We need one class with a unique and involved playstyle that isn't set into some AWFUL and DREADFUL stale "rotation". Lack of real talent trees, lack of unique builds/playstyles, lack of skills/spells all classes used to have, turning the game casual, CLEAR and OBVIOUS horde bias and the story "writing" (if you can call it that) are all making the game worse. You guys seriously need to reverse a lot of the class design choices that have happened over the last 5-6 years and go back to when the game was FUN and you had a huge selection of what spells to use and when you wanted to use them. "Rotations" and lack of abilities to use are ruining the game. Not to mention the fact because of the gross faction imbalance the horde park on top of important NPCs or quest hand ins for hours upon hours blocking off the Alliance side from being able to do anything and none of them are being punished for it. This is NOT a fun or enjoyable gaming environment, you are forcibly making the game more and more toxic every day because of these terrible design choices on top the clear horde bias. Don't bother responding with "turn off warmode" either because that doesn't address the issue at all. They have tied deleted skills and extra rewards to this garbage new PvP system just to turn around and punish one side because nearly everyone plays the other side now because all the devs play and prefer the horde which isn't surprising when you see the better racial skills they get, the cooler mounts they get when all we get every expansion is another stupid horse. If rumours are to be believed they're getting an entirely new made up model in the creepy fox race while all we get is another lame gnome reskin that's been in the game for YEARS and no one will ever main. Why can't the Alliance get a pretty fairy race or at least SOMETHING totally new and pretty that isn't a creepy furry or midget? Game needs better devs that aren't so biased for the horde side. The animosity forming environment is ruining the game for a ton of people and no fixes for it are even on the horizon nor are horde being punished for camping important NPCs/WQ locations for literally DAYS at a time. People absolutely need to be punished if they're camping the turtle rep emissary in packs of 50 for days preventing the Alliance from handing in. This isn't the first time it's happened either they did it to the Time Walking vendor when I haphazardly walked to hand in a quest on the Monk I was leveling for the smurf elf heritage armor. It took me literally AN HOUR to revive and stay alive long enough to get away from the area so I could run back to Stormwind just to turn off Warmode then have to turn around and run back to the NPC just to hand in the quest. HORRID and TOXIC game design. And nothing was or is being done to the people taking part in that garbage.Mad.
That mech pigeon mount is something i will do anything for looks soo cool!.More allied races will be nice Hope they lighten up on the unlock requirements
I somehow missed that mechanical parrot mount being added. That is awesome looking!I'd be happy to see Mechagnomes at some point, but man will there be a catastrophe if they add them at the same time as Vulpera. The Alliance already feels pretty screwed over this expansion, if they give the Horde an entirely new, unique race and then give the Alliance another "old race but fancier!" situation people are going to be furious.
I need that meka parrot. Just give it to me
If vulpera will be released i am going to change my race!
put Sethrak on please! T_T
No no no no no no! Will trade Mechagnomes for Vulpera!
Vulpera <3 @^@
I love Vulpera, but would do everything* for Serthraks (or Tortollans!).Among the plausible future races/customization options, give me a thin human already! Everybody's talking about self-acceptance and how some may want to play a more natural character... Well, I'm the ugly gaunt sickly kind of thin IRL, I want a proper avatar in game too! ;)
