So, they Tyrande + Malfurion don't even manage to kill Nathanos, even after one of them supposedly gets even MORE POWERFUL. Who the %^&* wrote this #$%^?
Nathanos was emotionally attached to Sylvanas in life and it is hinted that she , also , had feelings for him but due to social restrictions they did not engage.Vanilla had a "story" spilled all over the place but we play WoW Vanilla IMMEDIATELY after warcraft 3 TFT events. In BC we explore the fel horde route and the story of the Forsaken and the Scourge is on hold. After Sylvanas had her revenge she found Nathanos. These stories are left on pause between expansions and they are explored if they the theme of the expansion. The storyline of Sylvanas went something along the line , while Nathanos was still in EPL , Estabilishing a foothold -> Head for Northrend to exact revenge -> She feels empty , now , that the hatred towards Arthas has been consumed and commits suicide and finds out what is beyond life/undeath so she changes goal to have controll over death -> She finds out that Nathanos is "alive" and brings him to her ->Present day .Or let me explain it and make it more simple or I think it is more simple.Vanilla are the events right after they gained Undercity (follow the above sentence as I say this) so order and more manpower is needed , they gather an army and arm themselves.Wrath of the Lich King is where she gets her revenge and commits suicide.Cataclysm is where her goals have changed from revenge to survival and still is survival to this day and expansion.Mists of Pandaria is where the story is on pause same as Burning Crusade where we unpause the pursuit for Illidan and find out what happened to Maiev and Akama.Warlords of Draenor the story is still on pause and literally nothing happens that is relevant to her.Legion is where Sylvanas finds a way to fix her survival problem so she makes a pact with Helya that we know nothing of(only speculations and hints and "guess work").She attempts to take place of Eyir or hold her as a puppet to ressurect whatever Sylvanas wants. Now we get to current expansion that we ,clearly , dont have the full picture , all what it seems at this point is that she found another target to fulfill that pact of hers with Helya. As for the ressurection into undeath goes what Sylvanas does is not mind controll its more like.......emotional manipulation. There is a huge difference between them and if you can't see it well.......I feel sorry for you.If you want to know more about emotional manipulation you should ask your girlfriend or your mother........in my experience women do that ALOT.
It's a shame! For me, the history of warcraft died in the BFA!
I'm just sorry... I guess I shouldn't be here.
Wish they'd stop popping off Sylvanas' val'kyr. There's so few left now that that they are painting themselves into a corner with their writing. There's nothing left for her after the last few remaining are killed. Then they either have to write her out of the story, or magical mcguffin her way to redemption. I don't want to play a wow that doesn't have Sylvanas. At the rate they are killing off her Val'kyr, she doesn't have very many expansions worth of them left. It's likely they wont even make it through this one.I've been waiting for it to truly be the hour of the Forsaken since the Wrathgate. I remember watching that cinematic and feeling like I was being validated for rolling Forsaken in vanilla, and I was right there with Putress, "DEATH TO EVERYONE!". I initially thought he was going to be a Forsaken hero, but that was very quickly shut down. The wrathgate didn't really turn out to be the hour of the forsaken as promised, but the way the story is going now, is getting tantalizingly closer than ever before. That's why with ever val'kyr that they kill off, it's a cause for alarm. It's an intentional decision by Blizzard to get the writers closer to writing the end of the story of Sylvanas. Its just very concerning. I just want her to be allowed to continue being her awesome undead self.Very few characters and races in wow have a story that is as interesting as that of Sylvanas and the Forsaken. Really, all we have for interesting characters is Vol'jin and Slyv. Everyone else story is about as interesting as the back of a can of Glade. Sure, it's something to read while your on the can, but you wouldn't bring it with you to read during the commute to work.
I love how even Wowhead staff realizes how evil Sylvanas is being. An article, showing the Horde side of the storyline, referencing us completing an objective as ‘unfortunate’ lol
Well, feasibly it could be. Really depends on the method I would think, since most of the time the Foresaken are free to choose as they will. It is feasible however Sylvanis, knowing where these two would have their allegiances truly lie would warp their minds to ensure their un-swaying loyalty.
I know this isn't the case for all Alliance players, but these comments always make it seem like you guys think anything that doesn't have your side coming out as the heroes and the victors is "bad writing".Unfortunate things happen to good people. I'm a horde player but I sympathize with those of you who feel your favorite race has been shafted. But it's nothing new that the Night Elves have had a bit of a holier than thou attitude in the past, something that tends to be shared among much of the Alliance. They might need a defeat like this to come back stronger in the future.
This might as well be "World of Warcraft: Battle for Crapping on the Night Elves Repeatedly"
Wow, so even with her goddess Elune's major power-up and with Malfurion by her side, Tyrande Whisperwind is STILL badly struggling to defeat the likes of Nathanos? Lame-o. Imagine if she went in without Night Warrior powers, probably would have been torn apart in seconds. Also, Delaryn's dialogue, Elune has forsaken us, reminds me almost of Arthas' own falling conviction in the Light as he fought vainly against the Scourge. How could the Light let this happen to my people? Although it must be said, if I were a night elf and my homeland was invaded and brutalized with Elune doing practically nothing to help, my faith would probably be badly shaken as well.
