The set of one of the most popular races, hope they don't mess it up! :D
Perhaps this will open some eyes to the fact Blood Elves are called such because they renamed and not because of their eyes. They are no longer High Elves, but are still the same race.
I hope that the Blizz will upgrade the Quel'Thalas locations for this Scenario ;) ... before they'll capture of Alliance in Warfront (if it'll exist) :/
I'm looking forward to this questline and it's rewards. I just hope its not disappointing.
I play a blood elf, and wouldn't mind if Alliance had Vereesas High Elves. And honestly, I hope they do get them eventually because it would be quite cool.We should have more options.
For Silvermoon ! For the Horde! Blood elf since day 1. I’m very excited for this .
So many good old times from wc 3.
Oh, my God, Patrick Seitz is amazing! I hope we get to hear more from him during this scenario!
Is this the reason why the Regent-Lord still supports Sylvanas? Because he respects her sacrifice still?
Ok,bull^&*!.Sylvanas was the greatest failure in the history of the High Elves. Every tragedy, misfortune, and mistake since is direct the consequence of her incompetence. This is how it actually works in the real world: if your nation is facing possible extinction and you blow it nobody talks about "your sacrifice" -remind me what she "sacrificed" again because as I recall it Arthas tore her apart, kek'd, and made her his slave and none of that is a "sacrifice"- because you had one job and you failed. You were trusted with the most important conceivable thing in your nation, the future and past of your people, and you weren't up to the challenge. That makes you the most hated, spat-upon figure in the history of your culture. Bar-$%^&ing-none. Sylvanas should be the Neville Chamberlain of Azeroth.Even by WoW's standards the idea of any living elf, High or Blood, venerating Sylvanas is utterly senseless. She's the reason Quel'thalas fell, the reason so many succumbed to the Thirst, the reason so many of the survivors followed Arthas to Northrend and were slaughtered, the reason most of those that remained followed Kael'Thas' desperate scheme to flee into space, the reason they had to consume fel energy and the reason they had to be exterminated because of their resulting corruption.Sylvanas is also the reason the High Elves left the Alliance (breaking an partnership literally thousands of years old) and the reason there are 99% less Elves on Azeroth and those that remain are either at war with their former allies or are ghettoized and shunned. Finally an undeniable comparison to Adolf Hitler because like Hitler Sylvanas was the worst thing to ever happen to the people who trusted her. And like Hitler she never tried anything else. Sylvanas has never sought redemption or admitted a mistake or expressed doubt. She's not just irredeemable because she's a monster she's irredeemable because she's a coward. That's ignoring all the Alliance, Horde, and Night Elves who died fighting the Scourge because if Arthas is stopped at Quel'Thalas the entire history of the World of Warcraft is different.Literally all of that happened because of Sylvanas' incompetence. She's indirectly the cause of the deaths of millions, the ruination of kingdoms, the triumph of the Scourge and that's before we start thinking about what destruction the Forsaken -explicitly organized and commanded by her and who frequently target High Elves- get up to before they're never actually stopped. That's $%^&ing fact and this is !@#$ing ridiculous. Just when I think there's nothing new to hate about Battle for Azeroth it finds a way to surprise me.If there's any upside to this atrocity of fact and fantasy it's that I predicted she'd get a "redemption arc" before BfA launched.Goddamn I wish I'd been wrong.
Wow."Kael'Thas destroyed the Sunwell."What a ^&*!ty retcon. That's amazing. That's the kind of thing that I'd expect to hear from a "Sunwell Truther" except that's what Blizz wants people to think actually happened. Hell, it's also being sold as a "good thing!"That's amazing. And every elf who dies as a consequence is a death he owns. Every slaughter of every unit in his cursed, corrupted army -every town they raze, every draenei they kill- that's all something that comes from this one choice.Goddamn amazeballs, Blizz. You really do know how to make terrible ideas from bad ones and apparently the "secret" is to take a tragedy and make it into an "opportunity!""Think how much worse this could be if ...Kael'Thas did 9/11! Brilliant! Ship it, and burn down that damn tree!"
I just want Blood Elf Shaman now.
