3. I suspect Sylvanas was hoping that she would take out the Alliance leadership with the city, no one had any way of knowing about Jaina's arrival and thus 'interference', so it could be her end game was to lure the enemy in and destroy both Lordaeron and all she could of them in one fell swoop (and she likely would have raised the corpses after to do her bidding and demoralize her remaining enemies even further)
I thought about that, but at the end of the battle she smiles when she is on the zeppelin. She's not angry, worried, annoyed, disappointed or anything like that. It seems like satisfaction as if all it's going according to plan.
re edit; regarding Jaina & the Plague, I don't think it's been 'cleaned up' or w/e .. I suspect once that ice thaws the area will still be plague-ridden. She just cleared the vapor/gass with the icy wind and froze/took down all of those plagued corpses/skeletons that Sylvanas sic'd on the Alliance.
That's possible. But given Jaina's level of power couldn't she do it? Disperse the gas with a strong wind and clean the ground. It can't have seeped very deep yet. Do it before the ground water carries the poison further and further.

During the Horde scenario I rode out of Lordaeron through the breach Jaina made in the walls. Just kept riding while the chatter goes on. You end up in front of Lordaeron. After the blue icey smoke disappears, there is no blight.
There are two towers still pounding the front gate of Lordaeron. No idea where they came from. The front door is open, so you can keep riding and join the fight. Or return through the breach and attack the Alliance from behind.
If you go to the Undercity after the scenario the blight is pouring onto the battlefield from the Undercity. So I'd say that Jaina removed the blight during the battle.

Also, where is that mass rez scene from the trailer? Shouldn't that have happened sometime during the scenario?
It wasn't a mass rez :|
Why everyone keep saying that ? that was a powerful healing spell and in that scenario Anduin has that little bubble healing spell but i don't know why it was a small bubble :|
It was a mass rez. Check the Metzen interview.
