The statue is looking good. Seems to have more of a likeness to Uther
Yeah thanks for this visual upgrade which comes about 15 years to late, but hey, why not... they put makeup on corpses too, right?
I think holy undead uther
absolutely amazing! i'm glad they never forget Uther! blizzards very own Obi-wan Kenobi.
Stratholme in the book is were Arthas's faith faltered because he knew what he was doing was wrong even if it was a tactical advantage. the even point out that the light in his hammer dimmed as he slew infected villagers. and instead of repenting he grew vengeful and place all the blame on Mal'ganis that eventually lead to him playing into the lich kings hands and going down his dark path.
I always thought the lighting was supposed to be unnatural. Like saying the Light is shining down on his corpse or something
I hope uther returns to aid us against sylvanas.
They keep updating West Plaguelands, kinda feels like, when coupled with the Battle of Lordaeron, that they’re setting up the Alliance (or maybe, Lightforged undead?) to be retaking and revitalizing the former kingdom
What's so intriguing about these updates is that, as far as I know, we never go to the Western Plaguelands during the events of 8.0.The Alliance invasion of Lordaeron as far as I know involves them landing on the northern coast of the Tirisfal Glades and steamrolling their way south straight through Brill. And while I guess we can't rule out some lesser actions out west to secure the Alliance's flank, it doesn't seem enough to justify updating the tomb, which would be at the centerpoint of those actions. When the updates to Uther's Tomb first showed up my instinct was that it would play a major role in the Jaina storyline. But we now know that takes place exclusively on Kul Tiras.Given all this, I only have two options left to consider. The first possibility is that it doesn't mean anything at all, Blizzard has just decided to start updating a few places of interest in the old world and Uther's Tomb was on the list. The alternative is that they are laying the groundwork for something big to happen at Uther's Tomb down the road.
How many Azerothian tax payer dollars went to this public work? As a member of the Horde I'm outraged! Where is our Vol'jin or correct timeline Grammosh statue? Horrible waste of tax payer dollars!
This looks amazing.
So..... is he standing or not?
Now, THIS statue is worthy of Uther. I hope they give the actual leaked Uther a similar model as well instead of just dressing him in Lightbringer armor with Grand Marshal shoulders.
I think this is going to be the racial hub/starting zone for a new Calia Menethil light undead allied race. Maybe there's catacombs behind those doors, filled with heroes from the third wars and previous knights of the Silver Hand.
i think it is a great addition. looks nice and worthy of the hero.
