It's that time again, we're looking to expand ZAM's team and pick up a
Network Content Manager
!
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be highly analytic, and a total people person. An excellent grasp on the English language as well as the ability to both come up with ideas and explain them is also needed. As the director of content, you will help oversee every site ZAM runs and play a direct role in expanding the ZAM brand and working on our future--all the while, you'll constantly be on the go from convention to meeting across the country.
This is a
full-time, work-from-home

Network Content Manager
Job Description
Come stand at the forefront of the video game industry. At ZAM, you’ll be joining the team responsible for the creation and management of the world’s largest massively multiplayer gaming websites. As the Network Content Manager at ZAM Network, you’ll be an integral part of the creative passion that fuels our gamer-focused services and will need to turn that knowledge and enthusiasm into tools and services that users want. This position requires a forward-thinking outlook and an analytical, business-oriented mind. In addition, you will be touching almost every aspect of ZAM, so the individual selected will need to be able to adapt to quickly shifting responsibilities and often will need to learn on the fly. Reports to VP of Content.
Responsibilities
Oversees and assists with all user facing initiatives at ZAM
Focuses on creation and acquisition of new websites
Will manage team of ~15 full time and part-time employees and their tasks
Plays and analyzes upcoming games for website potential
Helps create and pitch projects to game development studios
Expands and enhances existing network of video game industry contacts
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-4 years relevant experience
Excellent communicator both within team environments and to potential business partners
Expertise with MS Word, Powerpoint; comfortable with Excel
Familiarity with website design, best practices and business operations
Ability to travel approximately 6-8 weeks out of the year
Love of video games
Pluses
Love of good food, beer, wine and liquor
Proven work from home experience
In-depth knowledge of League of Legends or World of Warcraft
