*Speechless*The run down to the Dark Portal was always a pain in the arse. And instant access to Shatt? I find this most exciting because I've recently been leveling an alt that is currently at 54. I think he will reap the benefits the most.
I like the outlands one, there have always been portals from Org and SW feeding the defense from the demons, now we can use them ^.^
The new zeppelin will be very convenient, as well as the new portals.Tied with Blitzfire for second, we put out comments on at the same time. :P
I'm a bit surprised it took as long as it did to impliment the zeppelin to TB. Factoring in deaths, the hour walk to get to there from Org (or to Org, of course) is really not enjoyable. Then with the BE starting zone being pretty much the best for starter-leveling... silly Tauren. The portal is incredibly good though. I know I hated having to set my hearth to Shattrath just so I had a way to get back to Outlands after leveling. Now I can just hearth to Org, train, then be right back to leveling.
Wow, and people were saying the game was getting too easy BEFORE this. Mounts at level 20? Epic mounts at 40? FLYING at 60? What a joke. And have you seen the prices for mounts and training now? Gonna make those 50 and 100 mount achievements much easier to get...However, the zeppelin and portals are great additions. As a druid, Thunder Bluff was where I had to go for training, and it was quite annoying to get there.
This game is too hard, I'm glad they are making these changes. Running to TB for gun training was game-breaking! ....I bet in 3.3 they let you create new toons of any class at lv55, complete with epic mount and the works...
The Run from Thunderbluff was horrible, but with the zep now its a lot shorter obviously but think about it this way, every other major city is connected to another in some way thunderbluff is the only one where you have absolutely no way to get to any one else with out hoofing it (pun intended). as a tauren you can't learn engineering from thunderbluff you have to go to orgrimmar, this imho is the greatest thing they have ever added to the game
i hope they put TB to UC as well....
Just to correct you kschiasson, you could learn engineering from "thunder bluff". The Engineer trainer is in fact at the end of the venture co mine

I love the Zepplin thing but Personally I don't like the the mount changes.I just don't like it how now Blizz is making the game easier and easier (5g for training at 20?) and I still remember when I had to WALK from Grom'gol to Booty Bay! I say they should of lowered JUST the epic mount skill to 50 but keep everything else the same. And if you say this is good (well it is for alts but I mean for like the newbs (not noobs, newbs (newbies))) think about it. Remember when you had to WORK for your epic ground mount, or even just your normal? Now you can get it faster and WAY easier (at 20 you'll already have like 20 gold) which takes the fun out of the game.I'm not saying Blizz is ruining the game I'm just saying they're making it way easier for the newbs who have just joined instead of us hard working, 2-3 years of WoW gaming, players!Note: I would still LOVE it if they still had mounts the way they were at the beginning.
1 thing... WoW has been completely ****ed up... :( I have recently quit WoW, and the more I hear the more I don't want to return... IMO, the first trip all the way to the Dark Portal is one of the most amazing moments a player can remember... What really should be changed is the extremely long flight paths... That's the true, ultimate, most time wasting feature in WoW...
To all the QQers, STOP. Your "walking uphill both ways in snow" arguments annoy the rest of us, and have no bearing on the current game situation. This change is primarily for new players (who have a much longer grind ahead of them than you did) and experienced player's alts (and is particularly welcome to those who have several low-mid level alts). 50 and 100 mount achievements still take time and gold to get. Faction mounts are the only ones affected by the price change, and they only count for around 30 out of 50 for the white drake, plus you still have to reach Exalted with four out of five capital cities to get all of them. The remainder of the mounts will stay at the same price (200g for netherdrakes, 80g for talbuks, etc.)I could say more, but I will leave it at that for now.
