There were two initial leveling zones: 北风苔原 and 嚎风峡湾

The leveling stories focused on the rise of the Lich King, efforts of the Argent Crusade and Ebon Blade, and the secrets of Ulduar and the titans.

One of the memorable leveling moments was 天谴之门的精英.

Launch dungeons included 净化斯坦索姆, in which players go back in time to help Prince Arthas purge Stratholme, 魔环, which introduced unique vehicle combat on the last boss, and 紫罗兰监狱 which makes a reappearance in Legion.

This was the first expansion to add achievements and titles for Realm Firsts, such as 服务器第一！80级 and

Just like Legion, Dalaran was the capital city for this expansion, led by the 肯瑞托.

Wrath was not the first expansion to have rare spawns in each zone, but it took it to the next level with 迷时始祖幼龙的缰绳.

At launch, Wrath introduced the Death Knight class, the continent Northrend, the Inscription profession, and the Achievement system.

The Wrath Collector's Edition came with 霜霜的项圈, an art book, behind-the-scenes DVD, soundtrack, and more. There was no digital Collector's Edition.

There were two initial leveling zones: 霜火岭 and 影月谷. Horde and Alliance each had a zone.

Leveling stories focused on the rise of the Iron Horde under the influence of Garrosh and Gul'dan. Players familiar with past expansions enjoyed the alternate reality where Shadowmoon Valley was beautiful, the Draenei had a flourishing culture, and Thrall fought by his father Durotan.

Building upon the success of cinematics like Wrathgate, the cinematic team developed cinematics for key story moments in every zone.

Launch dungeons included 奥金顿, which looks radically different from the Burning Crusade version, 恐轨车站, which was a unique encounter on a train, and a revamp of 黑石塔上层.

Soon after launch, WoW celebrated its 10 year anniversary with an elaborate event including max-level 熔火之心.

Warlords introduced rare spawns that dropped mounts in many zones, such as 阳炎之肤小戈隆.

At launch, Warlords introduced new character models, the continent Draenor, the Garrison system, and the Toy Box.

The Warlords Collector's Edition came with 恐惧渡鸦缰绳, 恐惧雏鸦, a level boost, art book, behind-the-scenes DVD, soundtrack, and more. There were also items for other Blizzard games, such as a Warsong pennant in Diablo.
