The entire Method organization welcomes these players and is ready to focus on preparation for Tomb of Sargeras and the race to World First, which should prove to be one of the best, considering how Legion's raid progression has gone so far.

Overview: Goroth continuously gains fel energy until he can unleash [Infernal Burning], decimating any enemy it hits. Use [Infernal Spikes] to survive [Infernal Burning] and [Shattering Star].

In Mythic difficulty, Infernal Spikes explode when destroyed inflicting raid wide damage.

Melted Armor: Increases all damage taken by 100%.

Crashing Comet: Goroth targets up to 3 enemies with Crashing Comet, inflicting 1267500 to 1332500 Fire damage to all enemies within 10 yds. This explosion destroys pillars.

Infernal Spike: Infernal Spikes erupt from the ground, inflicting 1368000 to 1512000 Fire damage to anyone in the area.

In Mythic difficulty, when an Infernal Spike is destroyed, it explodes for 434000 to 455000 Fire damage.

Shattering Star: Goroth selects a target and then hurls a Shattering Star at them after 6 sec, inflicting 2500000 Fire damage to all enemies within 200 yards. This damage is decreased by every Infernal Spike the Shattering Star collides with.

Any other targets struck by the Shattering Star while it is traveling to its target take 715000 to 790000 Fire damage.

Infernal Burning: Goroth ignites everyone he can see, inflicting 3610000 to 3800000 Fire damage immediately and 1480000 Fire damage every 2 sec for 10 sec.

Fel Eruption: Fel lava erupts from the edges of the room, leaving pools that inflict 450000 Fire damage every 1 sec. (Heroic, Mythic)

Rain of Brimstone: Goroth calls down 4 meteors, each inflicting 8890000 Fire damage divided evenly between each of the targets. A Brimstone Infernal will spawn if a meteor fails to hit any targets. (Mythic)

Fel Fire: Ignites the area surrounding the caster, inflicting (2.2% of Spell power) Fire damage to all nearby enemies every 1 sec. Lasts 8 sec. (Mythic)

Demonic InquisitionAnticipating the arrival of mortal forces invading the Tomb of Sargeras, Kil'jaeden has called on his best captors, Atrigan and Belac, to lock down the interlopers and prevent them from using the Pillars to advance deeper into the dungeon.Normal

Overview: Atrigan and Belac share health.
Both Atrigan and Belac's abilities all inflict [Torment]. Reaching full [Torment] results in [Unbearable Torment].

Damage Dealers:
[Confess] when at full [Torment] to collect Remnants of Hope from Belac's cage and alleviate [Unbearable Torment].
Avoid attacking Atrigan and Belac during [Bone Saw] and [Fel Squall] respectively, so you don't incur additional [Torment].
Healers:
[Confess] when at full [Torment] to collect Remnants of Hope from Belac's cage and alleviate [Unbearable Torment].
Stagger dispelling [Echoing Anguish] so as not to inflict the raid to too many instances of [Anguished Outburst] at once.
Tanks:
[Confess] when at full [Torment] to collect Remnants of Hope from Belac's cage and alleviate [Unbearable Torment].
Coordinate with the other tank so only one has to [Confess] at a time.
Avoid attacking Atrigan and Belac during [Bone Saw] and [Fel Squall] respectively, so you don't incur additional [Torment].

Torment: Torment increases when attacks and abilities from Atrigan and Belac strike players. Players that reach full Torment are afflicted with Unbearable Torment and must Confess in order to remove the effect.

Unbearable Torment: The inquisition has broken you. All damage done is reduced by 20%, your chance to hit is reduced by 90% your healing done is reduced by 25%, and all damage taken is increased by 90%.
Confess: You confess your actions against the Legion to the demonic inquisition and are transported into Belac's fel prison.

Atrigan

Bone Scythe: Atrigan wields a Bone Scythe. All attacks made by Atrigan apply 2 Torment.
Scythe Sweep: Atrigan swings his mighty Bone Scythe, inflicting 975000 to 1025000 Physical damage and 20 Torment to all enemies in front of him.
Calcified Quills: Causes a barrage of spikes to emerge from the ground in a cone towards a player. Players hit by a spike suffer 1387500 to 1612500 Physical damage and are knocked into the air. (Heroic, Mythic)
Bone Saw: Inflicts 1000000 Physical damage and 4 Torment to nearby enemies every 1 sec. Atrigan's movement speed is slowed by 75%. Attacking Atrigan during Bone Saw causes the attacker to gain Torment.

Belac

Pangs of Guilt: Belac hurls painful bolts of manifested guilt at his enemies, inflicting 2312500 Shadow damage to each target.
Echoing Anguish: Belac targets multiple players with phantasmal torture devices, which inflict 250000 Shadow damage and 2 Torment every 1 sec for 12 sec. When this effect is removed, nearby players are struck by Anguished Outburst.

Anguished Outburst: Tormenting energy bursts forth from the affected player, inflicting 2437500 to 2562500 Shadow damage and 10 Torment to players within 8 yards.

Suffocating Dark: Shrouds a random player in suffocating darkness, inflicting 350000 Shadow damage and 8 Torment every 1 sec, and slowing movement speed by 50%. (Heroic, Mythic)
Tormenting Burst: Tormenting energy explodes out from Belac, inflicting 1950000 to 2050000 Shadow damage and 8 Torment to all players.
Fel Squall: Inflicts 1000000 Fire damage and 4 Torment to nearby enemies every 5 sec. Attacking Belac during Fel Squall causes the attacker to gain Torment.

Tormented Soul: A massive soul has coalesced within Belac's cage, trapped and tormented for thousands of years. While on the surface it is no more than a mass of ill will and pain, remnants of hope from long-forgotten prisoners remain trapped inside.

Tormented Eruption: Concentrated torment erupts from the prisoner, inflicting 828750 to 871250 Fire damage to enemies within 3 yards of each impact.

Tormented Fragment: When prisoners escape Belac's cage these fragments of the Tormented Soul abscond alongside them. (Mythic)

Harrowing Reconstitution: As the Tormented Fragments attempt to reform their thrashing increases in intensity. All damage done by all Tormented Fragments is increased by 15% whenever a new Fragment escapes Belac's cage. (Mythic)
Explosive Anguish: Tormented Fragments violently release all their pent up torment and anguish upon death, inflicting 1950000 to 2050000 Shadow damage to all enemies within 10 yards. (Mythic)

Sisters of the MoonThe Sisters of the Moon served as wardens for the temple long before the avatar of Sargeras was buried beneath it. Even in death, the sisters maintained their vigil, but over the millennia something twisted their ability to distinguish friend from foe. Their madness slowly consumed them, and now any who enter their sacred chambers are put to death.Normal

Overview: The Sisters of the Moon are trapped in a fading incorporal state, bound together and sharing health. Between them they maintain only enough power to sustain the physical form of one of them at a time.
Huntress Kasparian initiates the fight, followed by Captain Yathae Moonstrke at 70% health remaining, and then followed by Priestess Lunaspyre at 40% health remaining.
The floor of the [Font of Elune] is a projected moon that changes through the moon phases. At Full Moon and New Moon the [Font of Elune] empowers the incorporeal Sisters of the Moon to use [Glaive Storm], [Incorporeal Shot], and [Embrace of the Eclipse].

In Mythic difficulty, Astral Purge inflicts raid wide damage when players move to a different side of the moon.

If targetted by [Rapid Shot] move to light side of the moon to clear stacks of [Umbra Suffusion].
If affected by [Moon Burn] move to the other side of the moon to trigger [Astral Purge].

Font of Elune: The floor of the font continually changes through the phases of the moon. Standing on the light side of the moon will stack Lunar Suffusion every 3 sec, while standing on the dark side of the moon will stack Umbra Suffusion every 3 sec. Switching from one side of the moon to the other clears all stacks of suffusion and triggers Astral Purge.

Lunar Suffusion: Increases Arcane damage taken by 5%.
Umbra Suffusion: Increases Shadow damage taken by 5%.
Astral Purge: Astral energy erupts from the target inflicting 584000 to 613000 Spellshadow damage.

Moon Glaive: Throws a glaive that bounces between up to 3 targets, inflicting (5000000 * 1.75) Physical damage total. The first target hit has Discorporate applied to them, decreasing all healing and absorbtion taken by 75% for 30 sec. Triggering Astral Purge will remove Discorporate.

Captain Yathae Moonstrike

Incorporeal Shot: Captain Yathae Moonstrike aims a Incorporeal Shot at her target, inflicting 10000000 Shadow damage to the target after 6 sec.
Players can move between her and her target, disrupting her aim and causing the damage inflicted to be split among all intercepting players and the target.

Hydra Acid: Hydra acid covers a target, inflicting 124800 Nature damage every 1 sec for 6 sec. This effect stacks and stuns for 6 sec upon reaching 2 or more stacks.

Burden of Pain: Curses a target with wracking pain, causing them to suffer 1075000 Shadow damage every 1 sec. Additionally, 100% of all Physical damage the player suffers while the curse is in effect is additionally shared to all other players.

Slicing Tornado: Slicing tornados sweep across the platform, inflicting 288600 Physical damage every 1 sec for 20 sec.
A Slicing Tornado coming into contact with Concealing Murk reduces its efficacy.

Thundering Shock: Jellyfish rise up from the waters, charging up to inflict 1512225 to 1589775 Nature damage and stun players within 8 yds for 4 sec.
Striking a murloc with Thundering Shock knocks it off a player and makes it vulnerable to attack.

Consuming Hunger: Beckons forth several Razorjaw Waverunners, which attach themselves to players, inflicting 312741 Physical damage every 2 sec.
Being struck with Thundering Shock knocks the murloc off of the target, making it vulnerable to attack.

Devouring Maw: Sarukel opens his maw, sucking in all players and inflicting 364000 Frost damage every 2 sec. If a player comes within 15 yds of Sarukel, they are devoured whole. Upon inhaling 3 Befouling Ink clouds, Sarukel becomes disgusted and flees.

Summon Ossunet: Mistress Sassz'ine calls forth Ossunet, the Darkness to obstruct her foes.

After testing concludes on Friday, we plan to open Raid Finder Tomb of Sargeras over the weekend.

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a PTR environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)

Q: What character should I use to test the raid?

A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players' effective level to 110 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested. For 7.2 raid testing, we'll be granting players all the new 7.2 artifact traits IF players have done the quest to reveal those new traits. Complete the Broken Shore intro experience in order to access this quest.

Q: How long does testing last?

A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Once we're satisfied that we've received that information for a given boss, we'll be shutting down testing. Usually this takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, but there are no guarantees.

Panda Global secured first place in Cup #1 in a convincing and cutthroat manner, but a change in personnel saw a different team in this cup. Rubcub, a Panda Global player, was removed from the roster - leaving Chanimal, Wealthyman and Roastyz to carry on with Kubyz. With Kubyz recruited they renamed themselves "Frogs in a Pond," but despite a strong team and fresh blood, the newly-formed team couldn't find the magic to make it through to the final 8. We're keen to see how Frogs in a Pond will perform in future tournaments and can't wait to see some of that epic play strategy and team spirit come alive once more.

What's In A Name?

Rubcub, removed from the Panda Global roster, was undeterred. Taking the team name with him, he formed a new team with Jellybeans, Wallabare and Rositajones. This fresh take on Panda Global flew through the bracket and made it to the quarter finals to face Splyce.

Two Tough Teams

Splyce are unquestionably tournament veterans. With the likes of Novoz and Thugonomics teamed up with Chunli and Volkazar, there was an amazing roster of talent with some unusual compositions. With Panda Global facing an experienced and well-respected team like Splyce, we knew the fight was going to be tough and we weren't wrong: these two titans had some insanely close games.

There Can Be Only One

But Panda Global met their match when they faced Tempo Storm in the semi-finals. For Tempo Storm, the 3-man roster of Jahmilli, Pikaboo, and Gorecki is stuffed full of talents; previously qualifying for the World Championships at BlizzCon twice. With that in mind, it was something of a surprise to see Tempo Storm place 5th in Cup #1, especially as they were considered the favorites. Going into Cup #2 saw a more familiar Tempo Storm; blasting their way through the brackets, beating Panda Global in the semi-finals and arriving comfortably into the finals.

Meanwhile, Panda Global fought their way back into the final, beating Splyce 3-1. They brought out Rositajones to play Mage, changing to a Warrior, Mage, Paladin formation, but it was no match for Tempo Storm. Tempo Storm beat Panda Global one more, 3-1, earning themselves a clear win, first place and 160 points. Congratulations, Tempo Storm!
