Panelists include Dave Kosak (Lead Narrative Designer, World of Warcraft), Chris Robinson (Senior Art Director, World of Warcraft), Matt Samia (Senior Creative Director, Brand Marketing), and James Waugh (Director of Story & Creative Development). Items

A number of items should no longer provide Legion materials when disenchanted.

Quests

The questgiver Lord Maxwell Tyrosus should not disappear after you accept the quest “银色召唤：墓穴的试炼”.
玛法里奥·怒风 should be visible and interactive for Grove Warden turn-in quests, as intended.
Corrected an issue that could reset progress on the Shipyard quest “制海权” and restored previous quest progress.
The Therazane quest “驾驭元素” should again be obtainable for characters who are level 80 and up, and have trained 附魔.
Characters who have a 矮人地堡 / 战争工坊等级3 should now be able to accept quests for Seals of Inevitable Fate while they already have 10 or more Seals.
(Work in progress) Fixed a bug that was preventing the 狼人 quest “最后的较量” from being available.
Players should again be able to access and quests at level 100.

Transmogrification

火焰节之冠 cannot be used as a transmogrification source.
(Work in progress) Transmogrification items related to the Warcraft movie should be granted to players who logged in during the promotion.

User Interface

You should no longer be prompted to select Honor Talents until you reach level 110.

Zones

奥特兰克山谷 and 征服之岛 were temporarily missing from the random battleground playlist.
(Work in progress) 寒冷天气飞行 should be granted to characters who previously obtained it.
达拉然 (Northrend) should again have a Trade Chat channel.

Transportation

We've received a few reports about the zepellins and boats not arriving or functioning as they should. We're looking into this now and would like to apologise for any inconvenience this is causing.

For the time-being, please seek portals from friendly neighborhood mages or (if you have them unlocked) utilise the portals available to some destinations from Orgrimmar/Stormwind.

Master Loot and Guild Master Loot

Using Master Loot in 7.0 requires that you have a "guild group," which is the same definition that is used for things like Guild Achievements or Guild Challenges: 80% or more of the group must belong to the guild. You can definitely bring a couple (or several, for larger raids) friends along from other servers and the like.

Is the appeal of Master Loot the convenience of only one person needing to check the corpse and then assign everything out? I'm a little perplexed that the reaction has been more "welp, guess we can't bring our friends anymore..." rather than "welp, guess we can't use Master Loot as much now...." I'd imagine there isn't much of a real concern about ninja-looting in a group of guildmembers and friends that raid together on a regular basis, or is there?

I know Personal Loot has been viewed with some skepticism by guild groups over the years. Originally it was due to the drop variance, where you could potentially get 0 or 1 items from a large-raid kill, which felt terrible. We fixed that in Warlords. But even then, being unable to trade loot around to gear up a friend, or pass an item to someone who needs it more, held back its appeal. In Legion, we've made more major improvements to Personal Loot, most importantly including the ability to trade any item that isn't a strict Item Level upgrade to other people who participated in the kill. So if you have (or have ever gotten, post-7.0, even if you no longer have it) an ilvl 720 trinket, any trinket drop you see that's 720 or lower can be traded to others in your raid group. And you still get the benefits of "smart" loot (e.g. never seeing a shield drop if you don't have a shield-user in your raid). Maybe it still isn't the right fit for your group, but I'd encourage people raiding Hellfire this week to give it a try - we've love to hear feedback on how it feels, and what could still be improved. Thanks!

Hellfire Citadel Raid Nerfs

Watcher

We've made a few more tweaks to abilities that were unaffected by Demoralized (e.g. Wrought/Focused Chaos) because they were "friendly-fire" damage. Those hotfixes should now be live, and will be documented in hotfix notes later today.

Raid Finder should also now be receiving a weaker form of the Demoralized debuff (many of the changes that the Normal/Heroic/Mythic version is offsetting involve things like high-end raid trinkets that aren't as commonly present in Raid Finder).

That said, having seen how Normal, Heroic, and Mythic have played out over the course of the first day of the patch, raiding has been easier in some ways (many combat times are a bit faster, even if on-pull burst is slower), but harder in others (healer throughput is more stressed, old methods of handling some mechanics are no longer reproducible, etc.). That's not the intent - were definitely aiming for "slightly easier" across the board. We'll be increasing the magnitude of the Demoralized debuff later today, and will continue to keep an eye on content.

We're also looking at introducing a form of the debuff to Warlords dungeons (Mythic especially).

Demon Hunter Early Access

We've been seeing some confusion regarding Demon Hunter Early Access since the launch of the Legion Pre-Expansion Patch this morning.

In the weeks before the launch of Legion, those who have pre-purchased the expansion will get early access to the new Demon Hunter class. Players will begin at level 98 and will find themselves on the fel-shattered expanse of Mardum, where they’ll play the Demon Hunter starting experience before joining their allies in the fight against the Legion.

We are still working on the exact timing of this, but players can expect to be able to play a Demon Hunter around the second or third week of August (no later than August 17 globally).

Keep an eye out for further details on this as we move closer to the launch of Legion!

Greetings all,
Below is a list of our currently known issues. Please be advised that this list does not include every issue that we know about, but a majority that we feel will impact you the most.

Spells, Talents and Abilities

Channeled spells are randomly disrupting themselves.
Death Knight - Death Strike gives a 40% increase to Shadow Empowerment rather than 45%.
Druid - Activating the reticle for Starfall , then finalizing the cast for Starfall when below the amount of Astral Power needed to successfully cast it, does not return an error message.
Druid - Balance Affinity's Lunar Strike doesn't hit nearby targets similar to the Balance variant.
Druid - Players are not able to cast Prowl in Bear Form or in Moonkin form.
Druid - The level 100 Balance Talent Fury of Elune can be cast such that it is in the trees and not on the ground.
Hunter - Casting Dire Beast briefly disrupts the auto attack animation
Mage - Frozen Orb breaks invisibility and loot windows when it ticks.
Monk - Soothing Mist lacks floating combat text on its healing events .
Monk - Touch of Death needs an updated tooltip to reflect 50% of your HP in damage instead of 100%.
Paladin - Blade of Wrath's DoT effect is dealing less damage than its tooltip suggests.
Paladin - The debuff aura tooltip for Repentance contains a token error.
Paladin - The duration of Consecration on the totem frame does not match its duration.
Paladin - The level 90 Protection Paladin talent Judgment of Light debuff aura tooltip as seen by the party members shows healed for 0.
Priest - Creatures afflicted by Dominate Mind can still sometimes be controlled by the player while also Feared .
Priest - Mind Bomb's talent tooltip description states that it is a 2-second stun when it is 4 seconds.
Priest - Void Eruption , with the talent Legacy of the Void , generates a warning if insanity falls below the required amount after the spell has started casting.
Rogue - Marked for Death does not work with macro modifiers such as @focus and @mouseover.
Rogue - Vendetta The spell effects are not animating properly while spell is active.
Stunning a player target after they get hit with a disorient causes their in-game position to warp out of place.
The tooltip for Strength on the character info frame does not indicate that it increases parry chance for tanks.
Warlock - Soul Effigy is seen by other players.
Warlock - The Imp's Firebolt sometimes costs more than 40 energy.
Warrior - Ravager's spell visual doesn't clean up when its duration ends.
Multiple mailboxes and sign doodads are missing from Stormwind in certain quest phases.
Magni Bronzebeard offers the player a conversation option that he does not respond to.
Broken Shore Scenario: Argent Dawnbringers & occasionally exit & re-enter their Legion Cage goober before being released.
Other player's class pets can be seen during some of the client scenes.
Demon Invasions - Mazgoroth : The tooltip for Fel Slash contains errors.
Demon Invasions - Malphazel : Shadow Illusion lacks a detailed tooltip.
Demon Invasions - Gorgoloth : Meteor Slash and Fel Breath's damage is inconsistent with their tooltips.
Demon Invasions - Flamebringer Az'rothel : Flame Breath and Rain of Fire's damage is inconsistent with their tooltips.
Demon Invasions - Fel Lord Kaz'ral : The tooltip for Fel Spike lacks a detailed description.
Demon Invasions - Darkmagus Drazzok : Shadow Image's Shadow Clone lacks a detailed tooltip.
Players exiting The Broken Shore Scenario mounted will remain mounted when loading into the deck of The Skyfire.
There is screen popping after the final cinematic of the Broken Shore Scenario.
There can be duplicated broadcast text during the quest "Fate of the Horde" .
Broken Shore Scenario: Darkspear Headhunters and Darkspear Witch Doctors are having a difficult time navigating the terrain.
Several of the Glaive Thrower's spells list the wrong damage value in the combat log tooltip.

Transmog 2.0

Precious' Ribbon cannot be used for transmogrification.
Shadow's Edge cannot be added to the Transmog collection.
Some PvP items from Blaze Magmaburn have been changed to Horde only.
Illusion items lack an "Already Known" tooltip.
Long female Pandaren tails are not displaying correctly in the Appearances UI.
There are wands that do not display any Weapon Enchantments.
Players don't receive any chat notifications when they use "Ensemble: Scale of the Scarlet Crusade" or "Ensemble: Chain of the Scarlet Crusade" which may cause player confusion.
Some weapons do not have the option to apply a Weapon Enchantment appearance in the transmog UI.
Items that don't have a visual model will not have any models in the enchant Weapons tab.
The source for Gossamer-Spun Greatcloak does not denote the boss difficulty for each version of the cloak.
Several weapons in the One-Handed Maces category are not properly centered in the Wardrobe.
Certain Daggers are not centered in the Transmog UI cameras.
Certain One-Handed Swords are not centered in the Transmog UI cameras.

Systems & Misc.

Enemy creature nameplates can sometimes fail to update their health bars when damaged.
Twitter integration fails to pull screenshots when tweeting.
Legendary items flagged as Report to Guild Chat do not display correctly in the chat log.
Players are erroneously informed that there is an available Honor Talent at level 100.
