Children's Week (May 1 - 7) Guide, Including 4.1 Changes

It's been a while since a holiday has gotten a serious rehaul, but
儿童周
starts this weekend and it's going to change that. This year the event features a redone quest chain for the initial leg of quests that take place in Azeroth, inviting you and your orphan to tour the changes Cataclysm has wrought. There are some clever additions to the questline as well, notably new ice creams that are served up specifically for the holiday at a mage run shop called
Cone of Cold
and dragon kites to fly with your orphan. Both the kites and the shop can be found in each faction's major capital city.
Additionally, there are two new rewards for those pet collectors:
蜗牛壳
(reward for new Azeroth quest chain) and
长腿
(reward for old Outland quest chain). This means if you've done this event every year, you'll still have a reason to check out this year's celebration.

You can adopt an Human orphan in
暴风城
by speaking with
孤儿监护员奈丁加尔
and accepting her quest,
儿童周
. Use the
人类孤儿哨
to summon your orphan, Randis, and complete this quest.
Once you have completed this quest, three new quests become available from your orphan:
地怒裂口游览记
For this quest, bring your orphan to Sentinel Hill in
西部荒野
. Your orphan wants to rent a chopper and see the destruction Cataclysm has wrought firsthand!
玛法里奥回来了！
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Temple of the Moon in
达纳苏斯
. Your orphan wants to meet
玛法里奥·怒风
himself after his return from the Emerald Dream!
史上最大钻石！
For this quest, bring your orphan to Hall of Thanes in
铁炉堡
. This is the newly opened gate to
Old Ironforge
and your orphan would like to explore it to pay tribute to the deceased King Magni Bronzebeard.
Old Ironforge

, so this is the perfect excuse to visit it!
Upon completion of all three of these quests, two new quests will become available:

For this quest, your orphan wants to try a new type of ice cream! All you have to do is head to the Blue Recluse in the
Mage Quarter
of
暴风城
where you'll find mages with adorable ice-cream bearing elementals have set up a shop called
Cone of Cold
that sells
冰锥甜筒
. Buy the frosty treat from
Hans Coldhearth
or
Bazzil Frostweaver
and share it with your orphan to receive credit.
Cone of Cold
looks
awesome
, so even if you hate the holiday,
check it out
before it's too late!

For this quest, your orphan wants to fly kites with you! Buy
双人风筝龙
from

, a gnome that wanders around the Trade District of
Stormwind
, and then go fly the kite with your orphan to receive credit.
Finally, you will be given a quest to return the orphan whistle to the Matron:
联盟孤儿的看护者
Buy

, a gnome that wanders around the Trade District of
Stormwind
. Then return the Human Orphan to the Matron and you will be given your choice of one from the following cute pets:

Or, if you hate pets, you can opt to select the
坏老头的贿赂
, which contains a measly . You will have the option to complete this quest again next year, so you can eventually collect all of the pets!
Children's Week: New Horde Quests Guide
You can adopt an Orcish orphan in
奥格瑞玛
by speaking with
孤儿监护员巴特维尔
and accepting her quest,
儿童周
. Use the
兽人孤儿哨
to summon your orphan, Grunth, and complete this quest.
Once you have completed this quest, three new quests become available from your orphan:
乘坐火箭车
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Secret Lab in
艾萨拉
. He wants to ride an experimental rocket that's found at the Southern end of the Rocketway and blast off!
女妖之王
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Royal Quarter of
幽暗城
to meet Lady Sylvanas. He's always dreamed of meeting such an influential Horde figure.
逝去的酋长
For this quest, bring your orphan to Red Rocks in Northeastern mountain range of
莫高雷
. He wants to pay tribute to the now deceased Cairne Bloodhoof by viewing his hoof print.
Upon completion of all three of these quests, two new quests will become available:

For this quest, your orphan wants to try a new type of ice cream! All you have to do is head to the Slums in

where you'll find a goblin mage,
Snixx Quickfreeze
has set up a
