Rare Mount Drops in Draenor
Now that raiding has started and the PvP season is in full swing, you may have some time now to go check out the awesome new mount drops in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. There are 7 new rare mount drops available in Draenor currently. 6 of these rare spawns have a 100% chance to drop their respective mounts for everyone that is able to tag the rare mob that drops it. The 7th,
, is different in that his mount is more rare but he is up virtually all the time - only 1
drops so not everyone can loot one from a single kill. This mount, though, can be traded or sold on the auction house.
Due to some of the new phasing technology, there may be different instances of a single zone on the same server. If you see someone in Chat say that a rare is up but you don't see it, if you get invited to that person's group you can be phased into the same-server-alternate-phase where the mount is and kill it there. Because most of these mounts (except
) behave along the same lines as personal loot, if you happen to have the corpse despawn on you or you somehow drop the phase, the Postmaster will mail you your drop. With the new group finder feature, you will often find groups camping the rare spawns or killing Nok-Karrosh.
All of the rares that drop mounts have several different spawn points, except
who has a static spawn point. Wowhead user
has created a
of the possible spawn locations of all the rare spawns that drop mounts.

Solo Queueing for LFR and Scenarios
On the Alpha, there are ways to queue for LFR, Scenarios, and Heroic Scenarios if you are above the intended level. On live, these instances have level requirements so once you'd level past the requirement, you had no way of going back--like Dragon Soul LFR.
Before Alpha was playable, it was previewed on Twitter by Blizzard that there was a solution in place for this. Now we can take a look for ourselves!
By the Lorewalkers,

for heroic scenarios, and

New Player Guide: Mists of Pandaria Content Overview
Today we're taking another look at WoW through the eyes of a boosted 90. Earlier in the week, we published
a guide to essentials for boosted 90s
including gearing tips, raid details, professions, and currency overviews.
This guide presents an overview of other new types of content added in Mists of Pandaria, in case you've been away from the game a bit or want a break from the gear grind.

Timeless Isle Guide: Coins, Achievements, Maps, Rares, and More
guide covers all the BoA gear, achievements, rare spawns, and vanity items in this innovative new zone designed to keep players busy when they're not raiding. In a radical departure from previous content, this zone isn't tied to daily quests or grinding out
. Instead, players can kill numerous rare spawns for vanity items, collect
for unique items, stumble across secret events, and loot BoA epics for their alts.
This zone is a bit more free-form than past zones we've covered like our
Isle of Thunder Content Guide
, but we've broken down the available content into the following components for our guide:
Players can loot BoA armor tokens, which can be mailed to alts and turned into ilvl 496 gear based on their loot specialization. These can be turned into ilvl 535 epics in rare circumstances, and some gear has unique transmog looks.
Rare Spawns and Events:
The Timeless Isle is teeming with rare spawns of all difficulties, as well as daily and weekly events that are fun minigames.

5.4 PTR: New Rare Spawns, Pirates and Events
The Timeless Isle is teeming with rare spawns--over 20 the last time we checked! Some are pirate-themed, while others spawn as part of rare events. The best part is that rare elites are complete shared tags--they are not limited by faction or by party.

Patch 5.2: Isle of Thunder Content Guide
is a new zone in 5.2 that is the location of a server-wide War Effort, new factions, and daily quests. However, there's a lot of vanity-related content as well, for players that dislike dailies.
This guide aims to cover the basics of completing your new dailies, but also to highlight all the other things you can do on the island. Since you access more content as you progress through the War Effort, we've also pointed out what things you can do now, and what things you'll have to wait a few weeks on.
Unlike factions tied to MoP's launch, the factions on the
are not tied to getting raid-quality gear or unlocking dailies for other factions. While you can complete twelve dailies a day, it's possible to have fun on
without doing any dailies and simply enjoying the other content, such as killing rare spawns, getting
for completing achievements, and farming troll transmog gear.

Gear Guide: Twinking with Pandaria Gear
We've talked a lot about rare spawns and their fun vanity loot in Mists of Pandaria, but there's another reason why you want their loot as well--they drop high ilvl gear with low level requirements. This gear is perfect for making a
very powerful 85 twink

, anyone? There's even some MoP gear level 80s can equip!
In addition to dominating battlegrounds, soloing old content is pretty fun--especially if you're wearing gear some level 90s wear, but don't have to worry about your combat ratings decaying as you level up.
