Ok I just bought this off of the alchemy vendor next to parnell across from apothecary shops/sewer area in the Undercity. He also has the superior mana potion which is not taught either. This is the little alcove between the Ant Milking station and the exit from speaking with the folks down below.

ok i think the guy he's speaking of is algernon in the outer ring vendor area of the apothecarium (coords being: 51,74), but i still haven't seen either of these recipes spawn there...

idea: Stop buying limited supplies if you only plan to sell them. Alchemists just HATE people doing that. This can prevent them from learning recipes during months ! Guilds have other things to do than camping vendors ! for the little money you earn, thousands of people are in need.
specially� stop buying Algernon's recipe if you're not alchemist, please ! do it for the Horde.

I just bought it off of him in UC. And the advice about having to buy out the other limited supply items first is untrue. He was only selling bottles when I first got there. Waited 5 min and the Superior Mana Recipe appeared. Did not buy it and waited another 10 min and the Shadow Power Recipe appeared. 90s.

51,74 for location for NPC Algernon

He sells the Recipe: Superior Mana Potion & Recipe: Elixir of Shadow Power

The mana potion respawns in <5 mins to him, whereas the elixir is once every 85-90 minutes.

Hopefully this helps someone.

Hi I hve farmed a good deal of recepies that have a respan time, and I noticed that if u purcasse eavry thing that there is only 1 of al wil respan whitin 5 min, hope this helps...

got to Algernon at 9:43 pm EST and at 11:43 pm Elixir of Shadow Power spawned. Good thing the TV is right next to my monitor! gnite!

...Patience is the key...way for about 5-10mn with the buy window open, then close it and talk to her again...=D she will have it!
i dont believe you need to buy anything from her..but i did buy a couple vials. Good luck!

Nowhere does it mention that there is a level requirement (Just got this first day of 1.12). Required level is 40. I went to the vendor, and after a server reset, nabbed it. I'm lv 37, so i have a few lvls before i can even make something with it. Someone should update ALLA.

It took me 45 minutes to get it and I kept checking the vendor (standing at it) so maybe the reset time is ~45 minutes? As for the Superior Mana Potion Recipe...it spawns often for me.

Algernon doesn't sell this, he only has vials =/ If anyone knows the true vendor, please post! =)

EDIT: nm he spawned it after awhile, it is Algernon just is a rare spawn item.
