Cool ring, where's it from?
Unless this is gonna be a Shaman or Paladin type of ring, I imagine that's supposed to be spell crit?
Dropped by Kormok, new boss in Scholomance
This is def a hybrid ring especially since the name says it all. I am no English major, but I know "amalgam" means mixture or hybrid or something... remember the Amalgam comics when DC and Marvel crossed over? Yeah, i guess I am a huge nerd...
I think most anyone could get use out of it, epsecially classes that are dependent on many stats, like feral druid and hunters. I know I'd like it on either.
this is beautiful. I want two for my enhance shaman. It would be perfect if it had some atk power but I guess I'll get a necklace to balance it out.
is kormok a rare spawn ?
Would be great if the crit chance was for spells, then it would be great for locks/mages/shadow-priests (and ofcourse other spellcasters too still, like druids and shamans)
Most end game hunters can't get enough mana, and the amount of mana regen on this is nice. This thing should be purple! Well, if it was +5-7 it would be...
too bad its unique :(
Could this be one of the bosses from the invasion? I guess not. I've actually never seen this ring.
thats a pretty good ring for a pally/druid/shammy. i dont know why ppl are complaining. if a druid is resto/feral and has the double combo points from crits this ring is a clutch. after TBC with with ooc, bloodfrenzy and swiftmend available in ONE spec along with our new feral stun +crit's gonna be nice. ooc proc -> crit - you can get 5 combo points damn near instantly and still have swiftmend.
good for pvp imo where you need a balance of stats, not "specialized" gear.
we're hybrid class's. here's a hybrid ring.
As a fury warrior 22/22/22 I dualwield these in my offhand. Nice dps (nearly beating worn dagger)
not critical chance with SPELLS? :D
very nice priest ring
I'm duid and I dont want this ring... I have seperate healing - tanking/dps gear so I would prefere to have two rings, one with only healer stats and one with only tank/dps stats.. but for a shapeshifter druid this would be nice!
I play a Paladin, and I agree with the Druid. I'd rather have equipment that specialized. I'm support specced, but I didn't think DPS Pallies really concentrated too much on mana at all, so the rest of the stats don't make sense for them, either. This seems most appropriate for a Shaman, and not really anyone else.
This is an alright ring, but I'd rather the 1% to crit was distributed to go along with the other stats better, even if it meant I'd have to compete with casters for it.
This ring does not give spell crit, despite the rest of its itemization. It's melee/ranged crit only.
