Since a lot of the focus on ZG seems to be "gearing up" for MC and beyond, this recipe seems very fitting. 12 mana / 5 seconds is excellent for healers in those long "endurance" fights. Heck, probably not bad for Hakkar either, from what I hear.
Someone else said that this recipe isn't any better than Greater Dreamless Sleep. I beg to differ. The sleep pot shares a timer with mana pots, it takes you out of the fight for 12sec, and I'm pretty sure it breaks on damage, so you don't always get the full effect. There are relatively few situations where Dreamless Sleep is preferable to a good mana pot. THIS potion, on the other hand, looks like a good standby for every raid healer - assuming, of course, it stacks with Mana Oils, Nightfin Soup, and the like.
if I can only chose one of the two, I would choose mageblood potion for sure, since mana/5 second = continued mana regen even when casting. A never diminishing mana pool is better than one that needs constant recharging, at least in my opinion.
Of course, the beauty is you can use both of those potions :)
As it was said, it shares cooldown with mana pots +when u r doing some boss and u use dreamless pot, some pala will see u with debuff and he will automatically cleanse.. they cant see its effect of potion since sleeping is counted as debuff, with good pala u wont get even 1 mana lol
as a priest who runs ZG and MC like crazy atm
I LOVE IT!
i bearly never run out of mana
i might use 2 mana pots per run if it gets really really tight
but combined with a lil spirit mana oil and mar'li's eye
u cant do wrong if u do
then healing is not ur calling
but it is kinda hard 2 get ur hands on it on my server i always run around with all the mats just in case i come across a alch who can make it
