Good for feral druids IMO.
This is good all the way till 70 for feral druids. The +str on this (especially if you have a good enchant on it) make these a keeper.
Amazing feral druid piece.
Excellent for feral druid
so Critzz your telling me that these gloves are the worst epics for wrists? heh and you think blizzard is stupid.
MC isn't the entire game u know.... and a lot of druids keep seperate sets of armour for different situations
These bracers are GREAT for druids! Who says you need to be feral to use +stan +str items? These babies add an amazing 48AP for a druid, and also some stamina. Got these some time back, very very cheap, cause everyone else think they suck. They're really nice. Got +9 stamina enchant on them too. I use these + the majordomo chest shoulders(not wild growth) when farming, and when offtanking in MC(yes, I as a druid do offtank in MC at bosses like Garr, Sulf, and Domo. It works good.)
This is absolutely the best braces for a druid for grinding purpose whit a +9 str enchanment this item gives 66 attack power and thats about 5 dps and thats very nice for a druid i want this so much for my cat form :D
Why are you ragging on people who like these bracers?
You also assume that they either have not been to MC while claiming to know how to play their class better than them.
These bracers are clearly NOT for rogues but for Feral Druids. There are some druids that like being Feral, for one thing, We've had a druid tank an add at garr, and hes a 30/21 feral/rest spec. Yes in MC they mainly only do healing but does that mean you will bar paladins from two handers just because all they do in MC is Cleanse/Heal? There are other things to do in this game, like PvP. A druid in bear form is hard to take down in pvp since of his high armor, ability to insta-heal, and then bear form again.
Its also common to have a few sets of gear for druids, one with high strength and stam for bear form, and Int/Spi/+healing/+regen for when they are in caster form.
Why can't they bid minimum dkp for it? If they want it let them have it and stop raggin on them.
YOU don't get the right to tell people what they want, just because YOU don't like the bracers.
This bracer is the most underrated item in the game we dissed it 2 times before i finally saw their potential for a warrior. This bracer got the far highest strength on a bracer in the game and for a warrior that is very good the armor on bracers are very minimal and especcially in pvp it dont really matter how much armor you got since most of the things you get hit from is magic. Also strength in a whole is highly underrated for warriors, more or less this item kicks the +hit and crit blue plate items asses and is purple to the boot.
I happen to be in a guild who not only has MC on farm status, but can get to firemaw in BWL. I have four pieces of stormrage, cenarion chest and wild growth spaulders. I took the healer reward for every quest up to 60. That said...When I saw these bracers drop I freaked and bid instantly without asking the dkp cost. Solo pvp I pretty much only heal me and these put me well over 800 attack power in cat (prepatch) with all of my other feral gear.
These are also my favourite tanking bracers. Which comes in handy when we only have 5 warriors and we're at Domo or Garr. I know that druids aren't good tanks, but my damage mitigation is higher than a lot of the tanks in my guild because I actually take the time to build it up. 11276 ac, 281 skill def, 5426 hp (all unbuffed).
Druids are not healbots all the time. We're really good at other roles too.
As a druid we might be needed to tank lesser instances as a 5 man group such as scholomance, stratholme, diremaul and even in as an offtank in MC; Garr, domo, ...etc.
Some of you may have even heard about a druid tanking Ragnaros, if you havent check it out here:
These bracers are great for a druid, who can use them for damage mitigation, which increases threat and helps to maintain aggro. Druids can also spec 5/5 in primal instinct which basically does the same thing.
If you are looking for PVP and DPS, strength is the only attribute that will increase your DPS in any form...So for DPS these things rock. It doesnt matter what the DPS is on your weapon, once you shift into any form your DPS is static and based on the form you take and talent points spent.
Warriors use defiance and shield block the most for mitigation.
For druids this is a must have if you want to increase your mitigation and perform better when tanking. They are also great for increasing your overall DPS.
What it comes down to is if a druids damage, HP and armor are high enough to match a warriors defense and shield block...
I got these last night. I heal in MC and I offtank ads. These bracers are great!
got these as my epic on my first mc run, I wasn't sure if I should take em or not but now I've got em they're really good for feral combat. Only one other guy went for em and bidded like 10 dkp and I bidded 0 and still won the roll.
This is a Druid , Feral Druid item only.
Your only stupid wasting dkp on Strength. IF a Rogue bids on it.
48 Attack power to a Druid.
** DRUID ITEM **
I'm a level 60 rogue and I would never spend DKP on these. If you think Rogues should get advantage on these, you're a retard.
These aren't one of the best 'feral' bracers. 'Feral' implies cat AND bear.
However, they are one of the best BEAR tanking bracers. Your job as a bear tank is to hold aggro and stay alive. High armor, decent stamina, and high strength allow you to achieve that goal. Granted, it would be nice if they had more stamina, but either a stamina or strength enchant on these would make them sweet.
I had a guildmate (recently specced resto from previous feral) who I talked into bidding for these. He's got 200 DKP compared to every other druid's 50 or less (and he's got all of cenarion), so it hardly cost him anything. Most of the druids in our guild are near zero DKP because so few of us raid and so much druid stuff drops in MC (relative to the number of us who play).
Great bear tanking bracers. If you'd never consider being a bear tank, then these aren't worth squat to a druid.
I'm a Rogue, and there were several people in my guild who freaked out at me for not bidding/wanting these when they dropped. "They're Feral Druid bracers, obviously," I said.
Some other Rogue bid and won them, and the same people in my guild chided me for not even trying to get them. "See? There's a Rogue who got them!"
Me: "And? They're still Feral Druid bracers."
And for half an hour, I was flooded with tells about these stupid Druid bracers. For &*!@'s sake, Blizzard, either slap a class requirement on them or put "of LEAFY NATURE &*!@" in it's name so Rogues don't have to be bugged to get this thing in the future.
allright.i know this thing is leather ...and leather users at 60 are rouges/druids...but this thing gives hefty amount of strenght ...wich means 24x2 =48 attack power for warriors.
i know plate is designed for wars but if rouges/druids pass on that.maybe its better for a dps warrior pick these up for damage only and sacrificing 200armor for some nice attack power.
Um, well yes the bracers would take priority to a druid, and then to a rogue, but considering my guild consists of one or two druids a raid, I would roll on them for enhancement shaman. Yeah, flame me all you want, but that strength is godly.
These dropped in MC last night and to my surprised, the armor has gone from 86 to 99 armor since the 2.0 patch. So these have become even better for feral druids now.
Ok this item just sucks, its under the same bad item topic as the edgemasters :P
Yay, got these yesterday ^^ im a happy feraldruid :)
For those who think feraldruids dont have a place in WoW... go play diablo, please... dont bother us with that kind of wining
I find it interesting that it dropped many times from Lucifron in Dun Morogh and Stormwind City. I knew alliance was easy mode... hell, you don't even have to leave home to kill MC bosses, and the trash mobs on the way are lvl 9 pigs. Figures.
you must all be rogues
Decent feral druid gear, but I'd prefer the bracers from WSG over these...
Awesome. Some rogue Warrior-killing gear.
Anything that lessens the % to dodge and compensates with other stats works nicely, and I'd say these do the job.
Screw Feral druids. They don't dodge 50% of the time. ;)
forest stalker bracers owns these for both rogues and druids , btw if u don't wanna get the rep get these ther good for a feral druid no matter what these incompitent little noobs of healing druids say
I'm a 0/31/20 feral druid. I've got 5/5 heart of the wild. These are 57.6 attack power for me. I would actually quite LIKE for these to drop :) I don't think they should class as epic either, but I still rather want them. And perhaps Blizz will notice later that they're a bit #$%^ and upgrade them, as they have done with MC items before.
...and I got em'. Armor and attack power -- these replaced the Shadowcraft bracers I had. I definitely didn't shy away being the only feral druid in MC on my server....
We had a rogue win it for 2pts, he was semi-joking about wanting it too. No druids wanted it lol.
Im a warrior who would love these. these gives me 66 attack power. pretty nice.
What kind of useless crap is this?
What blizzard employee makes this ^&*!.
...but I wouldn't use it.
I also don't PvP, so WSG bracers is moot. But personally, I prefer my Bracers of the Eclipse with a +5 Strength enchant. Since druids get double AP from strength, they're actually quite comparable, except for the armor rating. Also keep in mind that Bracers of the Eclipse also has some agility if you're looking for crit. Your choice.
EDIT: You probably can even go up to +7 Strength for Bracers of the Eclipse. +9 Strength is just too expensive to use on a blue. Save that for the Wristguards.

I took this, im a rest/feral druid but i only took it as i was the only druid in the raid , its quite a %^&* item though ;o
I have these for my druid and love them. Rogues also bid on them, but I won them due to the fact I will probably use these for feral stuff forever.
And the rogues would vendor them in favor of Nightslayer or Bloodfang.
Decently easy to obtain for feral druids, although I would prefer the ones from WSG...
is this a joke?
Just got disenchanted, nobody finds it worth like 5 dkp -.-
Im THINKING about using a tiny bit of dkp on this one. They suck to be a MC-drop, but hey! They arent all bad for a druid imo.
Bracers of the Eclipse
Requires Level 57
Passive: +24 Attack Power.
Rogue: 34 attack power, 9 stamina, 1/3 chance to crit, some dodge %?
Druid: 34 attack power, 9 stamina, 1/2 chance to crit, some lesser dodge %, about 350 armor.
Wristguards of Stability (These)
Rogue: 24 attack power, 8 stamina.
Druid: 48 attack power, 8 Stamina, almost 400 armor in bear form.
Seems like for a rogue eclipse bracers are significantly better, for a druid these ones are better.
If you're a druid looking for feral gear, probably worth noting these, too:
Forest Stalker Bracers
Rogue: 30 attack power, 19/30 chance to crit, 8 sta, no idea on dodge ^^
druid: 41 attack power, 19/20 chance to crit, 8 stamina, no idea on dodge ^^ same near 400 armor as stability.
EDIT: i suck at the e/n (spelling errors)

Cloak of Firemaw - 57 armor, 12 sta, 50 atk power

it's a 6 piece set : chest, head, shoulders, boots, hands and legs..
all together :
82 atk power
(hands got Stealth detection btw)
2 pieces : +15 sta
3 pieces : +15% movement speed in forms (only works outside)
6 pieces : +40 atk power
and of course I'll give a little info about agi, str and so on :)
this is for druids of course.. in caster form :
1 agi = 2 armor
20 agi = 1% crit and 1% dodge
1 Str = 2 atk power
1 Agi = 1 atk power
14 atk power = +1 dps
and +defense btw..
+1 defense = +0.04% dodge, parry and block for ALL classes
så look at these infos and tjek the items again ;)

thats 48 attack power.
i'd take em.
Dropped yesterday from Garr, very good bracers for a druid, there arent many out there with more AP for druids, though they still could be better to be considered "epic" 10 Agility would be ok i guess, but bracers are a minor part of gear stat wise in general.
Only 15dkp too :D
