Torghast, Tower of the Damned is a new feature in Shadowlands in which players will face increasingly difficult creatures as they climb the tower, but they will be able to increase their power as well.
One of the main mechanics added in Torghast are Torments. In this guide, we will display all currently known information about Torments.
What Are Torments?
Torments are new mechanics added in Torghast that will start appearing as you progress through higher floors in Torghast. These mechanics serve as additional challenges that increase the difficulty of the floor. Torments include extra damage taken, extra mobs spawning, mobs having extra health, etc.
As of the latest Shadowlands Alpha builds, Torments are assigned to different types of tower floors that scale as you ascend more and more floors in Torghast. Torments will only scale in value as you advance to a new floor.
Unlike previous iterations of challenging group content like Challenge Modes and Mythic Keystone dungeons, Blizzard has stated that Torments should not act as time constraints, but instead as challenges that reward strategy.
Currently Available Torments
Currently, there are six types of Torments that are testable in Torghast. Each Torment is specific to one type of floor, but if you're running Torghast on the Twisting Corridors mode (which will give you a random assortment of floor types), these Torments will stack with each other.
折磨:灵魂熔炉之灼
(The Soulforges)
: Oppressive heat from the Soulforges inflicts 1% of the target's maximum health in Fire damage every 5 sec.
Fire damage taken is increased by an additional 1% maximum health on every new Soulforge floor.
折磨:斯科杜斯之眼
(Skoldus Hall)
: Skoldus' Eye is upon the target, calling forth Mawsworn Seekers every 40 sec while the target is not in combat. These minions have 10% increased health.
Minion health is increased by an additional 10% on every new Skoldus Hall floor.
折磨:破碎的部队
(Fracture Chambers)
: The Fracture Chambers seeks out new prey, calling forth a Mawsworn Shadestalker every 30 sec while the target is not in combat. These minions have 10% increased health.
Minion health is increased by an additional 10% on every new Fracture Chambers floor.

(Coldheart Interstitia)
: The empowering breath of the Coldheart Interstitia increases enemy maximum health by 5%.
Enemy maximum health is increased by an additional 5% on every new Coldheart Interstitia floor.
折磨:莫尔特雷加的残影
(Mort'regar)
: Remnants of Mort'regar increase enemy Magic damage done by 3%.
Enemy Magic damage done is increased by an additional 3% on every new Mort'regar floor.
折磨:上层区域之力
(The Upper Reaches:)
The might of the Upper Reaches increases enemy Physical damage done by 3%.
Enemy Physical damage done is increased by an additional 3% on every new Upper Reaches floor.

Sad, that Blizz still did not realise, not only kids play their game. Any kind of unstoppable timed events make things really hard, if no Mommy or Daddy there to open the door for the postman, answer the phone, open up some random excel for the boss, when he NEEDS that data NOW no matter it is sunday, or one of the kids actively trying to kill herself by some random stuff! I was really happy when Blizzard dropped the idea of some time limit like visions, but half of the torments are kind of timers, because you cant leave the game for 5 minutes.
I know this is for make it harder to wait for the cooldowns, but some "pause" mechanic would be great, which stops the cd-s reset timers too, if that is the problem. It could be a specific consumable, spell, or anything.

Glad that these wing effects were posted somewhere, I missed Coldheart and Skoldus week and it's good to catch up and figure what they do.

This Torment Mechanic is an interesting feature,and it shows that Blizzard can spice the game from time-to-time,despite other boring and annoying mechanics. However it's good to see that Blizzard is finally listening to the playerbase
