About the Author
Hi, my name is
Tarisant
. I am an avid Mythic+ player, and am a raider in one of the top NA guilds, poptart corndoG of Tichondrius. You can find me on
Youtube
, or on my
Twitch
, where I will often be streaming my keys or raid.
De Other Side MDT Route for Mythic+
This De Other Side route assumes you will be playing with a random group composition, which does not contain the dungeon specific covenant and does not have invisibility. It does not require any skips, however it does include backtracking to create better Pride timings in the form of a U-turn, then running a straight line after that.
De Other Side Dungeon Guide
For those who just want the MDT import, you can find it below:
First, we'll be covering De Other Side. Let's take a look at the first zone.
At the top of the image is the entrance to the dungeon. You'll be pulling the two mobs at the top of the stairs with the pack on the platform. Afterwards, you'll be heading counter-clockwise around the circle to fight the pack marked in green. Before heading into the
Hakkar
wing on the left side of the image, you'll want to continue around the main circle and fight the
Enraged Spirit
, then the pack marked in blue, which will spawn Pride afterwards. Once you've defeated Pride, pull the two
Risen Warlord
s marked in yellow, then backtrack and head for the Hakkar wing.
This wing is fairly straightforward, and you mostly just want to pull one pack at a time. You will spawn your second Prideful after finishing the last pack in the wing, and you'll want to use that buff to fight Hakkar. I recommend also stacking Bloodlust or Heroism with the Pride effect to make the boss as painless as possible.
Once Hakkar is defeated, it's time to head back out to the main ring and into the Mechagon zone.
Start off by pulling the
Drill
on its own, and using line of sight behind the pillars on the edges of the room when it uses its
Haywire
cast. Then you'll want to continue in a straight line through the dungeon, pulling things as marked on the route. At the end of the hallway are
Sentient Oil
s, which will spawn your last Pride when defeated. Their cast,
Essential Oil
, is very important to kick, however will not always be possible.
After defeating the
Manastorms
, it's time to head back to the main ring and finish clearing around to the Ardenweald zone.
Note that the pull marked in blue has a set of patrolling birds that you'll have to watch for before getting to that pull, and the pull marked in yellow contains a pack of invisible enemies at the top of the area. When you reach the pull heading down the ramp marked in green, you'll want to use forms of hard CC on the
Bladebeak Hatchling
, so that it cannot finish its
cast
. Interrupts do not work.
Halls of Atonement MDT Route for Mythic+
This Halls of Atonement route assumes you will be playing with a random group composition, and will just have you running in a straight line through the dungeon. It includes no skips and uses no forms of invisibility.
Halls of Atonement Dungeon Guide
For those who just want the MDT import, you can find it below:
Let's start by looking at the first chunk of the dungeon.
After the red pull, you'll spawn your first Pride, which you'll use to fight the pull marked in blue before heading back towards the entrance.
Your next prides will spawn after the pulls marked with a 6 and 9 in this image. There's no special use for the buffs they provide in this portion of the dungeon. After pull 11, pull
Halkias
, then do pull 12 and head upstairs to the next area.
You'll want to wait for the
Stoneborn Slasher
s in this area to turn to stone before walking past them, and only pull one once you're up the stairs to
Echelon
in order to spawn your fourth Pride. After Echelon, just head in a straight line through the instance until you're finished. You must have 80% of the dungeon count before going beyond Echelon.
Mists of Tirna Scithe MDT Route for Mythic+
This dungeon has two listed Mists of Tirna Scithe routes, one for a group that has a Night Fae, and one for a group that does not. Communicate with your team to find out which you should use. Both routes use no skips, and will have you running a straight line to the end.
Mists of Tirna Scithe Dungeon Guide
For those wanting the MDT import that assumes you have a Night Fae in the group, you can find it below:
For those wanting the MDT import that assumes you
do not
have a Night Fae in the group, you can find it below:
The two Mists of Tirna Scithe routes vary slightly based on the assumption that you will use the Night Fae skip at the start of the dungeon. For the purpose of the images being posted here, I'll only be showing the route that does not have a Night Fae in the group.
Be aware of the patrolling
Drust Spiteclaw
s in this area between pulls 3 and 4. After the first boss, it's time for the Maze.
While the Maze is random, it gives fairly consistent count regardless of path, so I just marked one possible path. After finishing the second boss, it's time for the bugs.
This area is pretty straightforward, you just travel in a straight line down the left side of the area until you reach the final boss.
Plaguefall MDT Route for Mythic+
This Plaguefall route assumes you will be playing with a random group composition, which does not have invisibility. It does not require any skips, and will have you running a straight line to the end of the dungeon.
Plaguefall Dungeon Guide
For those who just want the MDT import, you can find that below:
Let's take a look at the first area.
In this area, you'll want to travel around the right side of the first zone while fighting the packs closest to the center island hill. While all the
slimes
in pull 5 are marked as one pull, don't feel pressured to do them all at once. The
Plaguebelcher
marked 6 will be the mob that procs your first Pride, which you use the buff of on the boss.
The next area can be overwhelming to look at, however it is fairly straightforward. You only want to pull a few mobs at a time in order to not be overwhelmed. A good way to speed up this area is to use the
Unstable Canister
s, which will detonate on death, and
Rigged Plagueborer
s which will detonate at 30% remaining health and put a large DoT on anything in the circle it places on the floor. These are found throughout the area, and can be a massive help in killing dangerous packs. However, they are not necessary.
After the
miniboss
at the end of the gauntlet, simply clear out the area where the
Doctor Ickus
fight takes place, and then move on once he is defeated.
In the third area, just follow the pulls as marked. In pull 20, make sure to focus the
Decaying Flesh Giant
, as it will clear up a lot of space on the island. Pride will spawn after pull 23.
In the final area, nothing particularly special happens. The
miniboss
will always jump in the pull order listed if you do not engage the packs before he jumps. However, it is fine to pull it all at once - just remember that the mobs hit your tank very hard in this zone.
Sanguine Depths MDT Route for Mythic+
This Sanguine Depths route assumes you will be playing with a random group composition, which does not contain the Venthyr dungeon specific covenant and does not have invisibility. However, having an invisibility will speed up the early portion of the dungeon, as you will not have to wait for a patrol before the first boss. There are no other skips, and you will just run from start to finish without changing direction.
Sanguine Depths Dungeon Guide
For those who just want the MDT import, you can find it below:
Starting with the first zone.
Pay attention to the
ticks
in pull 5, as they can get stuck under the floor, and the only way to get them out is to pull the boss and fight them with him. All you have to do to prevent this is pull them while they're still in the air. Your first pride will spawn after pull 6, which you will use on the boss.
Onto the next zone.
Here, you'll just be pulling in a straight line. The packs in this portion of the dungeon are fairly dangerous, so be careful and kick what you can. Casters need to be aware of the
Curse
that is placed on them which will silence them for 5 seconds. It is interruptible and can be dispelled.
In this area of the dungeon, you'll just want to travel around the circle in a clockwise direction, fighting the boss once you reach him. Then you'll just have to continue until you finish pull 20 and have just under 70%, at which time you'll head down to the third boss area.
Pull the patrolling caster with either of the packs of two, it doesn't matter.
Once you reach the gauntlet, just pull one pack at a time and force
General Kaal
to move on before you move on, so as to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
After finishing the final pack (marked pink) you'll spawn your final Pride of the instance, which you can then use on the
General Kaal
boss fight.
Spires of Ascension MDT Route for Mythic+
This Spires of Ascension route includes one instance of backtracking, which you will find after the first boss and is detailed both on the MDT import and in the toggled route menu below. It does not make use of invisibility, however it does make use of two skips, which are detailed in the same places as before. Outside of the singular instance of backtracking, this route will just run a straight line.
Spires of Ascension Dungeon Guide
For those who just want the MDT import, you can find that below:
After the first boss, head to the right and pull all the mobs on that side, but don't cross with the angel. Instead, turn around and go clear pulls 4 and 5, and take that angel across.
Pull in a straight line here. Pulls 9 and 12 will proc Prides, which you'll use on pull 10 and the second boss, respectively.
In this area, you're going to want to skip most of the trash, as it can be pretty tough and time consuming. You'll pull the
Helion
, and then walk around to the edge of the area. You can jump up and out, and walk around the pack in the middle. Then, hop back down onto the stairs, walk up them, and then jump over the guard rail at the top once again. Then walk around and head to the wall to pull the
Usurpers
.
Pull the angels in the order marked, fight the last Pride, and then fight
Devos
.
The Necrotic Wake MDT Route for Mythic+
This Necrotic Wake route assumes you do not have a composition with the dungeon specific covenant, and as such does not require the use of the Kyrian Goliaths to enable a pull. However, it will make any given pull that you use it on easier. It does not make use of any skips or invisibility. As such, you will just be running forward to the end of the key.
For those who just want the MDT import, you can find that below:
Necrotic Wake is a dungeon with lots of external factors found around the dungeon contributing to whether you time it. While I won't show the locations of the items in these images, they are marked on the route that you can import.
After completing pull 4, you'll spawn your first Pride. Use the buff, along with the
Kyrian Goliath
if you have that available to you, for the first buff. Then do pulls 5 and 6.
Walk upstairs, and do the pulls in order. Make sure to grab the
Discharged Anima Orb
in this room, because you will need it to complete pull 11. Pull 10 will spawn your second Pride, which you will also want to help through pull 11.
Be careful of the patrolling
Skeletal Monstrosity
in this area, as he will take a lot of time to kill. Pull 13 is a patrol, so you may have to wait a few moments for it to not be in a bad position. Then just continue. Note that pull 16 is a
Necromancer
, who is surrounded by adds that don't take any damage. You'll want to try to CC the
Brittlebone Mage
s on this pull, as they are very deadly, and just focus the Necromancer.
Pull the Necropolis in the order listed. Use another
Discharged Anima Orb
that is found in Amarth's area for pull 1. Pull 2 will spawn your fourth Pride, which you will use for pull 3. Then just continue in a clockwise direction and do the zone as it spawns, then finish the last two bosses.
Theater of Pain MDT Route for Mythic+
This Theater of Pain route does not make use of any skips or invisibility, and assumes you will be playing with a random group composition. While this dungeon doesn't allow for any form of "straight lining," this route is about as close as it will get.
For those that just want the MDT import, you can find that below:
Theater is a dungeon with lots of different paths to take. The one we'll be focusing on goes to the Lich area first.
Pull the first pack, then pull the first boss.
Head into the northern area first.
In this area, you'll just be going in a straight line throughout. When you defeat the first
Portal Guardian
, you'll want to place his orb in the font on the
right
. Then, after the second
Portal Guardian
, you'll place his orb in the font on the
left
.
Head into the southern area second.
Your third Pride will spawn from the first pull in this area, so be careful not to also pull the miniboss in. Afterwards, you're just walking through the wing until it's all dead.
Head into the western area last.
The first pull in this area will spawn your fourth Pride. Then you'll just be walking through the zone, killing packs as you go. When you get to the end of this hallway, you'll want to skip to the downstairs area by waiting for the
Rancid Gasbag
on either side to patrol far enough that your team can hug the wall and slip through the door.
Once downstairs, just pull packs in a straight line once again, proccing your final Pride from the two mobs in front of
Gorechop
's door. Using his buff, fight Gorechop, then head back upstairs and do the final boss.

Thanks. Some of these routes help a lot.
Personally, I would at least add some comments on usually skips, like the skip @pack 4 in Mists. It's not difficult to set up and helps a lot, due to pride @boss.also I can't think of a group that doesn't have a night fae. :D
The order after the 2nd shard in HoA seems a bit strange. But I struggle with this part of a dungeon, the pat with the hounds is a real pain and often adds, when you jump of the edge after the shard...
But the detailed information really help a lot. Something I miss on other route guides, where a lot of knowledge is required (no offence, it may depend on my personal knowledge :D).

This is a really great guide, thank you.
I have been leading guild groups into M+ and trying to figure out the best routes. This will help enormously.
Also not too many skips, which is great.
Cheers, great job! :)

Might wanna add a short note of how people get from pull 15 to pull 16 in necrotic wake. Might not be obvious to the ones that dont run M+ often

For some reason, Spires of Ascension does not appear on the Table of Contents?
+1 on Yaleokali's comment that links to the Mythictrap picture guides of mob & boss abilities would be a good add.
