Razorgore the Untamed Notable Classes

Razorgore the Untamed Quick Tips
DPS
In Phase 1,

s must die as soon as possible. Make sure to focus interrupt and kill any that spawn.
While there are no Mages up, you can help with slowing adds for kiting, but be careful to not pull aggro off the kiters.
In Phase 2, DPS should only be taking damage from
连珠火球
. You can LoS them by using the pillars in the room. If you get hit, you can help the healers by bandaging yourself.
Tanks
Tanks are mainly responsible for helping with kitings adds in Phase 1. Warriors should be specced into
刺耳怒吼
to help slow down adds, and they should be tagging Legionnaires and Dragonkin as soon as they are able to.
Ideally, you will want to assign one tank as the Razorgore controller on the final eggs of Phase 1.
In Phase 2, all tanks must be building aggro in order to not overwhelm the raid with
燃烧
.
Healers
Healers must do everything they can to ensure they don't get add aggro in Phase 1, as even one healer dying likely means it will be a wipe, due to healers having to heal more and thus generating more aggro. Using downranked heals and shields is a good idea.
In Phase 2, healers can avoid
连珠火球
by hiding behind one of the many pillars in the room. Make sure you're pre-HoTting or shielding the tanks before doing so.
Before the Pull
The fight with Razorgore happens at the very first room of Blackwing Lair. As the aggro range for the mobs that start the fight is quite large, it is recommended to either stay at the entrance corridor or move to the lower left corner of the room by hugging the wall.
Razorgore will immediately pull once your raid pulls

and his adds, so make sure you assign people to control the Orb of Domination beforehand. Pet classes will need to dismiss their pets before interacting with the orb, or else they will fail to control Razorgore and get debuffed by the Orb of Domination. Make sure you only click once when interacting with the Orb of Domination, or else it can glitch and give you the debuff without controlling Razorgore.
Razorgore the Untamed Abilities and Strategy
Razorgore the Untamed is a two-phase fight, in which players must mind control Razorgore using the
龙翼祭坛
and use him to destroy all the Black Dragon Eggs scattered around the room. Razorgore can only be properly attacked and killed in the final phase. If Razorgore is killed before all eggs are destroyed, he will explode, instantly wiping the raid.
Controlling Razorgore
Players are able to control Razorgore by interacting with the
龙翼祭坛
located on the platform on the left side of the room. Once the Orb is interacted with, they will take control of Razorgore for 90 seconds. The player has access to four abilities while controlling Razorgore (with default keybinds included):

- Destroys a nearby egg. 3 second cast, 7 second cooldown.

- Makes a Dragonkin fall asleep for 30 seconds. Instant cast.

- Cleaves a target, hitting all enemies near the main target. Next Melee Attack.

- Deals Fire damage to all hostile enemies within 45 yards. 2 second cast.
The player controlling Razorgore must maintain their full focus on destroying as many eggs as they can while they control Razorgore. They can help with crowd controls on the Dragonkin while their
摧毁蛋
is on cooldown, but destroying eggs is their top priority.
Once the 90-second channel is over or the player dismisses Razorgore early, they will be affected with
心灵疲惫
for 1 minute, preventing them from using the Orb of Domination in quick succession. A good strategy to help the next Orb controller is destroying the last egg then move Razorgore away from the Orb of Domination, to ensure he won't have time to attack the person who just controlled him.
Razorgore is immune to Taunts and has full aggro on the person using the Orb of Domination, so it is recommended to have either a tank or a tanky class taking control of Razorgore for the final eggs in the room.
Phase 1 - Adds, Adds, Adds
The fight starts when the raid pulls

. Grethok must be killed as soon as possible to make the Orb of Domination available for players to use. Once Grethok is dead, the first person assigned to control Razorgore must immediately use the Orb and start destroying eggs around the room.
Once Razorgore is mind controlled for the first time, adds will start spawning from all corners of the room. There are three adds that can spawn at random, and up to a total of 52 adds can be up at all times (40 Orcs and 12 Dragonkin):
死爪龙人
are Dragonkin mob that have high amounts of health and high damage.
黑翼法师
are casters that have high amounts of damage, but really low health.
黑翼军团士兵
are melee mobs with medium health and damage. They aren't very dangerous on their own, just watch for their Cleave.
All adds that spawn will initially have aggro on the person controlling the Orb in the middle of the room. Groups should be assigned to each corner and these people will be assigned with killing
黑翼法师
as quickly as they can, as keeping even a few of them up can be deadly to the Orb controller. Ideally, you will want no Mages up.
黑翼军团士兵
s and
死爪龙人
need to be kited around the room - Any players with reliable means of kiting can aid with the kiting, but ideally Hunters and Warriors should be assigned to do so, as they have plenty of slows and movement speed increases. Players kiting the Legionnaires and Dragons can use the platforms on Razorgore's room to their advantage - Kite the mobs up the platforms then jump down to gain some distance. The Dragons are immune to slows, so Druids and the player controlling Razorgore are able to help the kiters by crowd controlling them.
Healers must take special caution on this phase, as it is very hard to constantly hold aggro from 52 adds at all times. Using Shields or downranked heals is a good idea, as these will generate less healing aggro. The biggest cause of wipes on Razorgore is a healer taking aggro from an add and dying, thus creating a domino effect where healers need to heal more and are susceptible to creating more add aggro.
This phase ends once Razorgore destroys all eggs in the room - Once this happens, Razorgore will automatically break control from the Orb of Domination, and any remaining adds alive in the room will flee the fight.
Phase 2 - Kill The Dragon
Razorgore will have aggro on the last player controlling the orb and is immune to taunts, so ideally you will want to assign a tank to be the last Orb controller. You will want to tank Razorgore on the middle of the room, close to the pillars so players can use them to LoS Fireball Volleys.
Razorgore has two abilities in Phase 2 and he isn't very hard to kill once the final phase starts.

deals Fire damage and disorients the target for 10 seconds, and is cast at the person on top of Razorgore's threat. Because of this, you will want at least 2 tanks on Razorgore at all times. As Razorgore is immune to taunts, both tanks must build aggro to ensure they don't lose control of the boss once a Conflagration happens.
This can be mitigated or even fully resisted with Fire Resistance, but don't sacrifice mitigation for resists. Check our Tanking Fire Resistance Guide for more information.

deals Fire damage to everyone in a 45-yard range, and is cast roughly every 15 seconds.
This ability can be outranged or LoS'd by using the pillars around the room. However, this shouldn't be too bad for healers to deal with, as this is the only damage that non-tanks should be taking on the final phase. Healers can pre-shield or HoT the tanks before attempting to Los.

Okay, kiting the Dragonkin was a fairly popular strategy, but I have never heard of kiting the Legionnaires. Even in low DPS groups, killing the Legionnaries by cleaving them down with the mages is pretty simple, especially since they spawn in the same location. High DPS raids will just kill everything.

This is also missing his warstomp ability. 0 tank Evasion while it is up results in much more tank damage.
the good thing is that there is a 20 sec cd to it, so you have a grace period between the stomps

Not sure how accurate those numbers are, but according to classicDB, the Blackwing Orcs have both about 8k HP, so they should just melt away instantly with an 8-man group in every corner. No need to kite the legionnaires. You might not even have to kite all Dragonspawn depending on your damage.
Also, Melee (especially the second tank) want to pop a Free Action Potion for Phase 2 because of warstomp. Ranges can easily LoS the fireball volley either behind the pillars near the wall, or behind a corner of one of the platforms.

Anybody else having a problem with the dragonkin adds not being snared/slowed by abilities such as rank 1 CoC or frost trap or Piercing Howl?

I'm 99% sure we're playing the AQ version of Razorgore and not the BWL version of Razorgore.
Sometime between the opening of AQ and Naxx, Blizz released a patch that prevented the dragonkin adds from being snared/slowed. A lot of players, including myself, didn't think too much of this because we were already geared and had moved on.
The past two weeks, my guild has tried kiting using hunters, placing traps, using piercing howl, rank 1 CoC, etc, to no avail.
Just a heads up to others.

The Fireball Volley that Razoregore does is front-facing so it does not need to be LoS'd unless the boss is facing you.
