Notable Trash
There is a single trash pull before players can engage Kargath Bladefist, consisting of

The Bladespire Sorcerers have much less health than Vul'gor, and they cast

on Vul'gor when they spawn, which reduces his damage taken by 30% per stack. Kill the Bladespire Sorcerers, then focus on Vul'gor when he is no longer affected by
灼烧护甲
. He will call forth another set of Bladespire Sorcerers approximately every 70 seconds.
Vul'gor empowered by Molten ArmorVul'gor has a

attack, so melee DPS must be careful to stay behind him. He will also cast

, creating a fissure in the earth that will damage any players standing in it and that summons a

The Stoneguards spawn far away from tanks and should be quickly taunted to prevent them from attacking a nearby ranged DPS or healer. The raid should kill these Stoneguards with incidental cleave or multi-DoT abilities, but focus primarily on the Sorcerers and Vul'gor.

Interrupting this spell will cause the Sorcerers to move so they can be grouped up tightly for cleave and AoE effects.
They also have an uninterruptible

attack which targets a random ranged player's location, dealing very heavy damage on impact and leaving behind a pool of magma that will continue to deal damage to players standing within it.
Players should be quick to move away from the impact point of the
熔火炸弹
and should avoid standing in the magma pools.

Kargath Bladefist Tips and Strategy
Kargath Bladefist is a fairly straightforward fight that requires moderate coordination. Throughout the encounter, Kargath will use the
锁链投掷
ability to pick up the five nearest players and fling them into the stands of the Coliseum where they can engage the enemies in the audience.
Before beginning the encounter, the raid should decide which players are best suited to performing this task - one tank, one healer, and three DPS - and those players must then ensure that they are closer to Kargath than any other players after the knockback that occurs at the start of the
锁链投掷
mechanic.
Once in the stands, these players should focus on killing the
钢铁投弹手
s and
喝醉的投毒者
s, as these enemies will otherwise throw
钢铁炸弹
and
暴虐酒
at players in the Coliseum, causing unpredictable raid damage.
Kite Berserker Rush to Flame PillarsThe most dangerous mechanic in the encounter is
狂暴冲锋
.
Kargath will target a random ranged DPS or healer and fixate on them, chasing them for 20 seconds and slashing his weapons wildly in front of him.
Players in the path of the
狂暴冲锋
, including the fixate target, will take very heavy damage and are likely to die.
Kargath gains both a damage-dealt buff and a movement speed buff every 2 seconds that his
狂暴冲锋
continues.
狂暴冲锋
can only be stopped by the target's death or by kiting Kargath through an active
烈焰之柱
that is spewing
烈焰喷射
.
Although there are four Flame Pillars, their locations marked by skulls on the ground as you enter the Coliseum, only two will be active at any one time.
Ranged DPS and healers must all be aware of the location of the most recently spawned Flame Pillar and have a plan to kite Kargath to it in case they are targeted, and melee must be ready to move out of the path of the
狂暴冲锋
until Kargath's direction is determined. Note that moving Kargath to a Flame Pillar causes it to despawn, whether he is currently using
狂暴冲锋
or not, so it is important for tanks to keep Kargath in the center of his platform far away from the Pillars to avoid despawning them and complicating the
狂暴冲锋
kiting plan.
Note that if a player is standing too near a Flame Pillar when it activates, they will be knocked back and take heavy damage, and after the pillar is activated, the
烈焰喷射
will deal heavy damage, so players should stay clear of the active Flame Pillar until it is time to kite.
Players must not use threat-dropping abilities such as
强化隐形术
or
假死
when targeted by
狂暴冲锋
.
Doing so will cause Kargath to re-target, and probably turn around, killing any melee DPS who are chasing after him.
There are also four tiger pits located around the perimeter of the Coliseum, and if players fall into these pits they are instantly killed by
贪婪的血喉
tigers. This is likely to occur while kiting Kargath for
狂暴冲锋
, or when players are knocked back at the start of
锁链投掷
, or if players are knocked back by a Flame Pillar when it activates. Players should note the location of these tiger pits and position themselves such that knockbacks will not propel them in the direction of a tiger pit.
Tanks must manage a heavily damaging attack,

, which occurs every 45 seconds and leaves behind a 75-second debuff,

, that increases the damage of subsequent
穿刺
attacks.

Chain Hurl Team Responsibilities

To perform this role, players should:
Be the closest players to Kargath after the knock-back occurs
Pull as many enemies as the tank/healer can handle
Use AoE stuns and other AoE CC abilities to prevent as much damage from the enemies as possible
Focus on killing Drunken Bileslingers and Iron Bombers quickly
Iron Bombers will explode when they die, dealing

damage to any nearby players; avoid this by moving away
Drunken Bileslingers will stun players in front of them (typically the tank) with

Looking For Raid Difficulty
Tiger Pits are closed in LFRIn Looking For Raid, the
锁链投掷
ability automatically chooses the tank with the highest number of stacks of
迸裂创伤
, a randomly-chosen healer, and three randomly-chosen DPS. This ensures that a balanced group of players will be sent up to the stands each time.
Understanding the mechanics of the enemies in the stands is beneficial but not necessary since these enemies do little damage on LFR difficulty; players should focus on killing as many of the enemies as possible, without dying.
Kargath can be tanked in, or very near, an active Flame Pillar, so that
狂暴冲锋
ends instantly.
Additionally, in LFR difficulty the tiger pits are not open, so players cannot fall into them and be instantly killed. This removes a lot of the positioning challenge for the encounter.

Mythic Difficulty
Roar of the Crowd trackerMythic difficulty introduces three new mechanics.
Roar of the Crowd
The most important new mechanic is
热血咆哮
, an alternate energy bar on each players' screen that tracks the amount of Favor their raid has gained with the audience. When the raid reaches certain 'breakpoints' of Favor, players deal additional damage:
0-24 Favor: No additional damage dealt
25-49 Favor:

50-74 Favor:

; 50% additional damage dealt
75-99 Favor:

Defeating this encounter in Mythic difficulty is made easier by gaining and maintaining high Favor in order to beat Kargath's enrage. The best way to do this is to simply handle the stands well, by sending strong AoE DPS up with each
锁链投掷
. Killing Iron Grunts in the audience generates Favor, and quickly killing Bileslingers or Bombers is helpful too, since they have a
责问
ability that reduces your raid's Favor.
Another way to generate Favor is to kite Kargath as long as possible during his
狂暴冲锋
ability. This is a less important method since performing well in the stands will generate enough Favor to defeat the encounter for most groups.
Careful positioning and planning can go a long way toward encouraging a lengthy Kargath kite, and using movement speed boosts or teleport abilities such as
闪现术
,
急奔
,
逃脱
, etc., will assist.
Players could also coordinate external sources of speed boosts such as
迅如猛虎
,
天堂之羽
s, or even
信仰飞跃
(
without
the
!) to extend the kite.
Immunity abilities or very heavy damage-reduction abilities such as

are useful for the final portion of
狂暴冲锋
where players are no longer able to outrun Kargath; being able to survive a few hits of his
狂暴冲锋
before kiting him into the fire can provide a lot of additional Favor. Paladins with
are very valuable for this purpose since

lasts a very long time and can allow a full 20-second kite very easily.
Note that if the player focused by
狂暴冲锋
dies, the raid loses all of the
热血咆哮
generated by that kite (and perhaps more), so this must be avoided. Also remember that threat-dropping abilities such as

, and taking a

, can cause Kargath to retarget his
狂暴冲锋
and may result in accidental player deaths and the loss of Favor.
Major raid DPS boosts like

should be saved for a time when

Kite Ravenous Bloodmaw through Flame Jets for more FavorOn Mythic difficulty, the

tigers in the tiger pits emerge and will continually fixate players.
This fixate can also be broken by kiting the tigers through the

, which disorients the tigers for several seconds and also provides Favor from
热血咆哮
.
The tiger chooses his next target immediately upon entering the
烈焰喷射
, and that player is debuffed with
On the Hunt
.
Attentive players can position themselves to naturally draw the tiger into the next
烈焰喷射
without too much movement, allowing maximal DPS and
热血咆哮
accumulation. Ranged players should multi-DoT the tigers with the aim to kill the currently active tiger just as the next tiger emerges from its pit, so that there are not too many players managing kiting tasks at any one time.
Flame Pillars
Additionally, Flame Pillars gain the
烈焰喷薄
ability, spitting flames at random players. This can be avoided if players move out of the targeting indicator quickly, but otherwise deals moderate fire damage to random targets. This, combined with
刃舞
and
钢铁炸弹
s, can occasionally result in deaths if players are not kept near full health.

Okay so I need clarification:
The Bezerker Rush - You say in the guide he only stops when the player targeted is dead or he hits a flame jet, but it APPEARS on the ability text - that it just lasts for 20 seconds, so if the player is say... given Blessing of Protection after a few seconds (at least 5) then they could ignore the mechanic?

I'm a tad confused why the chain hurl team would consist of a tank with the lowest amount of deep wound debuff. Wouldn't it be better for him to pick up boss when the stack wears off and send up the tank with the highest deep wound debuff?

yesterday i was down this boss normal with 10ppl of my guild, 2 tanks, 3 healers and 5 dps.
we have some difficulty to assign CD on tank that being targeted by

Best piece of advice I can give ranged classes, particularly dps, is to try and constantly stay behind the flame pillars. That way if you get focused, you won't have to move.

WoD Highmaul Heroic Kargath fight notes by Stackoverflo-Perenolde:
I used the following strategy to kill Kargath on Heroic with 100% PUG groups; 3x this week. It works:
Fight Overview:
The order of mechanics for Kargath is fixed, and VERY simple. Hero/Lust at the start. The boss will IMPALE the tank, doing massive damage. Healers, be prepared to keep the tank alive. After the first IMPALE, the boss will then BERSERKER RUSH at a ranged DPS/caster. People on the ground will step out of the way of his cleaves as he bee-lines toward a pillar (because all of the ranged DPS are keeping active fire pillars between themselves and Kargath). After knocking down the pillar, Kargath will return to the tank for a second IMPALE. Due to the first IMPALE stack, second one is going to hit 50% harder than the first. Tanks are unable to do _anything_ during impale, so they will probably have to pop a major CD right before the second IMPALE. Active damage mitigation from other players is extremely useful during second IMPALE. After the second IMPALE, Kargath will jump to the center of the ring and knock back all players. People will be expecting this and so not be standing with their backs to an open tiger pit. At this moment, the four players in the dedicated “stands” group will rush in to the center by Kargath, along with the tank that has been tanking. Kargath will execute his CHAIN HURL mechanic a few seconds later, and those 5 players (because they are standing closest to him) will be picked up and thrown to the back of the stands (just below where the Twins are seated). The stands group will rush to kill all of the bombers in the stands and then jump down and resume the fight. The second tank will have taunted and picked up threat right after CHAIN HURL and the fight will repeat exactly the same way, 3-4 times.
TL;DR: IMPALE -> BERSERKER RUSH -> IMPALE -> CHAIN HURL, rinse and repeat
Stands Group:
Five players will go to the stands each time, a tank, a healer and 3 DPS. It is firmly recommended to send high-burst DPS that can easily shake CC/slow effects (So, hunters are a good choice), and Healers that can AoE/HOTS well and survive a little melee damage. You will land with a Bomber right in your face. Kill it and get away from the bomb it drops. DPS: Your _one job_ in the stands is to kill all of the Bombers. It is the tank’s job to AoE taunt the Grunt adds, and pull threat to clear a path for the DPS to get to Bombers. When the Bombers die, they drop a bomb with a three-second timer. Get away, Fast. It will cut your hp in half, and with all of the adds up there pounding on everyone - that's a bad day right there. If you avoid the bombs, your stands group will be successful. Tanks, be aware of the 45-second timer for this Stands phase. At the end of it, two big Highmaul Sweeper ogres rush through and knock everyone back down. If you can’t kill that final Bomber on the other side, everyone just jump down to avoid Sweeper damage. If a healer dies prematurely, abandon the stands, jump down and resume DPSing. LOOK DOWN AND WATCH OUT FOR PITS WHEN YOU JUMP DOWN!
Special Note: This fight truly hinges on whether or not the stands group can kill all of the Bombers. Failing to do so will result in people on the ground getting stacks from the Bombers and that’s a wipe. When you are being swung around during Kargath’s CHAIN HURL, use the camera to locate the Bombers, and call out which direction the group is going in. It helps to drop a colored raid marker on each side of the stands and refer to the side by it’s color. Thusfar the Bombers seem to spawn four on the right side (as you face the Twins) and one on the left after the first CHAIN HURL, and thereafter the bulk of them spawn on the left side.
At the end of the fight, if Kargath is sub-20% at the start of a CHAIN HURL, when the stands group lands just immediately jump back down and tunnel on the boss.
TL;DR: Wipe the Bombers out, all of them. Don’t stand on bombs when Bombers die. It is not necessary to kill anything else in the stands, except insofar as it is needed to get the Bombers down.
Fight Positioning:
Tanking: The tank will kite Kargath to stand between the two skulls on the ground to the right side of the ring. The goal is to have Kargath’s back to the raid to increase critical damage on him, but also to keep him positioned between two active fire pillars at all times. Standing between two active pillars ensures that the boss runs directly to an active pillar during his BERSERKER RUSH (fixate) mechanic. When the only two active pillars are on opposite sides of the ring, position the boss directly in the middle of the field with his back to the raid (i.e. turn him around and face him to the front).
Ranged DPS/Casters: During Kargath’s BERSERKER RUSH, he will choose a ranged DPS to fixate on, and attempt to chase you down. When he gets to you, you will die. You complete the mechanic properly by kiting the boss into an active fire pillar. When Kargath hits the flame, he gets angry and attacks the pillar, eventually deactivating it and turning his attention back to the tank. Therefore, the most effective position a ranged DPS/Caster can be in, is on the other side of an active fire pillar from Kargath. Throughout the fight you will need to constantly reposition yourself to interpose an active fire pillar between you and Kargath. In this way, when Kargath fixates on you, you can effectively ignore it and keeps DPSing him down. The reason is: he’ll run right at you and hit that pillar.
Healers/Melee DPS: Be aware of your position relative to Kargath when he is about to do BERSERKER RUSH. During that mechanic he cleaves in an oblique cone in front of him from the moment he turns away from the tank and until he hits a pillar. This cleave deals massive damage to anyone standing in front of him. It is especially important for melee DPS to be situationally and positionally aware, and watching for that BERSERKER RUSH. Generally you’ll want to stand on Kargath’s back and burn him down, but a moment before the start of the BERSERKER RUSH mechanic you will want to take a step back out of his melee range until you see which pillar he is running toward. This helps significantly in conserving healer mana.
Other Considerations:
Fire pillars: The animation for these makes it hard to tell where the edge of the bad is. To avoid taking damage from these, ignore the animation and look for the dim orange ring on the ground around them, and don’t step across that line.
Bile pools: These pools are announced well ahead of time with a nice dim green pool. You have a couple seconds to move out of the way before it turns into a bright green bile pool of bad. Melee DPS: These pools make your life harder and reduce your output by causing you to constantly reposition. The reality is that Kargath tends to be more difficult from a healing perspective. It is not a DPS race, so always err on the side of not taking damage from these pools.
Tiger pits: Tiger pits will kill almost anyone in a single hit. Right before the start of the CHAIN HURL mechanic Kargath will knock everyone back. If you are standing in front of a tiger pit at this point, you will die.
TL;DR: Tank keep boss faced away from raid and between active fire pillars. Ranged DPS stand with active fire pillar between you and Kargath.

The easiest fight of entire raid, a raid with aweraness can kill it on Heroic easily, gl raiders =)

We generally have the dps and heals we want in the stands run to the off tank at the time of the chain so we get the group we want up there. That seems to work well for us. Rest of the mechanics constitute a 'stupid' check so if you aren't 'stupid' you should take this guy down with relative ease.

Normal mode, 12/9/14 Jumped in the tiger pits twice after wipes were called. Each time I got knocked out of the pit, once with 50% health, and 25% the second time. So, the tigers aren't insta-death every time.

It might be helpful to note that anyone sent up with chain hurl can just jump down at any time, mind where you jump though. You do have to send 5 people up but they don't have to stay up.
We sent 1 DK tank, DK dps, Boomkin, MM Hunter and resto druid and found this was way more dps than we actually needed. So we had the hunter MD to the tank and then jump down and then our boomkin could follow shortly after increasing the overall DPS on Kargath and still keeping the stands clear.

Trying to figure out of I ran into a bug today or if this is part of the mechanic.
BM hunter in LFR and got thrown into the stands on chain hurl. Pet commands were not working at all, pet was not attacking any of the mobs despite being on assist.
Considering the number of mechanics this expansion that seem to involve removing pet classes only dps I was a bit perturbed by this. I also died pretty quickly which always makes me cranky. But not sure if it was some sort of glitch or if that is how it works and unable to find anything that states either way.
Feedback would be appreciated!

So Berserker Rush only fixates on ranged players on all 3 difficulties, but do the Bloodmaws on Mythic difficulty also only fixate on ranged? Or do the Bloodmaws fixate on melee players as well?

ok..eather I didnt see it or missed it, but is heroic any different than normal? or just more health and dmg from boss
