Introduction & Basic Strategy
With the recent addition to flying in Draenor, you can level from 90-100 really quickly using
only 3
敏捷思维药剂
if you have a few things. You can go through 3 zones(
影月谷
,
戈尔隆德
,
阿兰卡峰林
) and complete bonus objectives/grab treasures for some insane XP. In this guide you will find custom routes for each of these zones that optimize your journey from level 90 to level 100. These routes avoid treasures that are heavily guarded or are deep within caves to maximize effectiveness of the
敏捷思维药剂
.
Basically what you need to is pretty straightforward. Go to each of these zones(Shadowmoon Valley -> Gorgrond -> Arak) and complete every bonus objective up to 1 kill or item pick up. After you do that, use your
敏捷思维药剂
and
大瓶快速学习药水
then get as many treasures/bonus objectives as you can within 15 minutes(duration of the elixir of the rapid mind) using the routes below.
NOTE #1: The 2 hour
approximation
is assuming you have completed the intro quest to Tanaan Jungle and have unlocked your level 1 garrison. This approximation takes into account the time needed to travel, preparing bonus objectives, and the actual route time. This guide also assumes you have no rested xp. If you do have some rested xp saved up, you can skip some bonus objectives as you see fit.
NOTE #2: If you prefer a video format, I made a video guide using this method. I'll have it embedded below.
Requirements
For this method you will require:
Full XP heirlooms(helm, cloak, chest, shoulders, legs. Rings not required, but a nice bonus if you have them)
Here is a good heirloom list if you need help finding those
Flying in Draenor. You get this from the
德拉诺探路者
achievement. I won't go into details on how to get this here, but
here is a guide on how to obtain that.
大师级骑术
- You will need all the speed you can get. If you have any +mount speed abilities, grab them.
3
敏捷思维药剂
You can get these from the auction house, or from garrison missions. We will be going through 3 zones to get to 100(Shadowmoon Valley, Gorgrond, and Spires of Arak), so we need a potion for each zone
3
大瓶快速学习药水
. Once again 1 for each zone. You get these from your local garrison resource vendor(
克劳勒中士
-
格里姆加中士
) for
100
要塞物资
each. Since these last for a full hour, you may be inclined to have these active while you are preparing the bonus objectives. However, you may have to buy an extra one, depending if you do all 3 zones in one session or not.
DraenorTreasures add-on
. This add-on displays every treasure on your map/mini-map and is necessary for pinpointing their locations.
As a bonus you can grab the darkmoon faire XP buff(+10% -
耶!
) by riding on the carousel. Highly recommended if the faire is in town.
(Optional) You can also download the TomTom map/mini-map add-on. Below you will find the waypoints of all of the treasures gathered in these routes so you can copy/paste.
You can download TomTom here if you wish.
Additionally, if you wish to copy/paste in multiple waypoints at once, you will need the "Paste" add-on,
Which you can find here.
(Optional) You may also want to have a stables as one of your garrison buildings if you have the slot available(Large plot). The level 1 stables allows you to pickup treasures without dismounting every time. The level 2 stables prevents you from being dazed and dismounted which may end up saving you some time.
(Optional) You may also want to grab an ilevel 630 crafted weapon(like
钢铸巨斧
) before you start. These require level 91 and they will help if you get aggro from some of the enemies guarding the treasures.
Shadowmoon Valley
Our first zone is Shadowmoon Valley. Complete the following bonus objectives up to one kill or item pick up
before
starting the route:
血棘洞穴
埋骨之地
瓦鲁恩丘陵
荧光林地
A special note for the Horde characters out there: You wont get bonus objectives for Shadowmoon Valley since it's an Alliance zone. So, before you start the route, complete every bonus objective(
禁忌冰川
,
霜冻之穴
,
肃霜丘陵
) in
霜火岭
up to 1 kill or item pick up and set your hearth to Wor'gol. Follow the route for Shadowmoon Valley and grab only the treasures. As soon as you grab the last one, hearth to Wor'gol and finish up those bonus objectives. You can find a small route for Frostfire Ridge below as well.
Special note: You will loot
阿库伯的灰烬
in this route. This item gives you a bar(5% of a level) of rested XP, so save it for level 99 for the greatest effect.
(Horde only)
For those of you that use TomTom, here are the waypoints of the treasures gathered in Shadowmoon Valley(Click me!)
Due to character limits, you must copy/paste these in 2 chunks.
/way Shadowmoon Valley:Draenor 37.2 23.1 Bubbling Cauldron

/way Shadowmoon Valley:Draenor 41.5 27.9 Armored Elekk Tusk
/way Shadowmoon Valley:Draenor 52.8 48.4 Ancestral Greataxe
These routes should take approximately 12-14 minutes. By the time you finish the Shadowmoon Valley route, you should be at least level 93. You only need level 92 to start the next zone, Gorgrond.
Gorgrond
Clear the following bonus objectives in Gorgrond up to 1 kill or item pick up
before
you follow the route below:
硫磺之泉
漫雾沼泽
第一堡垒废墟
艾韵荒野
毁灭谷
被遗忘的洞穴
鞭尾盆地
SPECIAL NOTE: Do not start the quest chain for this zone as it will cause your DraenorTreasures add-on to display the
硬化棘藤
and
古怪的巨石
treasures. These treasures don't give XP and muddle up your map too much. This may cause you to go for the wrong treasures which will slow down your run.
For those of you that use TomTom, here are the waypoints of the treasures gathered in Gorgrond(Click me!)
Due to character limits, you must copy/paste these in 2 chunks.
/way Gorgrond 40.4 76.6 Explorer Canister
/way Gorgrond 49.3 43.5 Weapons Cache
/way Gorgrond 43.7 42.5 Iron Supply Chest
/way Gorgrond 44.2 74.2 Laughing Skull Cache
/way Gorgrond 48.9 47.3 Warm Goren Egg
/way Gorgrond 45.7 49.7 Suntouched Spear

/way Gorgrond 41.8 78.1 Evermorn Supply Cache
/way Gorgrond 46.1 50.0 Harvestable Precious Crystal
/way Gorgrond 40.0 72.3 Femur of Improbability
/way Gorgrond 57.1 65.3 Strange Spore
This route should take approximately 10 minutes. By the time you finish the Gorgrond route, you should be at least level 96 1/2. You only need level 96 to start the next zone, the Spires of Arak.
Spires of Arak
Here is where you have some choices. If you've followed the routes perfectly so far with 100% up time on your potions, you will hit level 100 about 1/2 of the way through this route. Because of this, you can skip the
刃拳堡
bonus objective in this zone. If you messed up on your potions at some point, it is highly recommended you still do this bonus objective. If you feel like you won't hit level 100 in this zone, you can also complete the intro chain(
逃亡的鸦人
) and pick the inn as your garrison ability, which rewards you with
宾至如归
. The intro chain takes around 20-30 minutes to complete and is not factored into the ~2 hour estimation.
Clear the following bonus objectives in the Spires of Arak up to 1 kill or item pick up
before
you follow the route below:
蜿蜒泥沼
血鬃领地
刃拳堡
(Skip if possible)
SPECIAL NOTE #1: Before you start the route, make sure you train
考古学
. A lot of the treasures in this zone require level 1 archaeology to pick up.
SPECIAL NOTE #2: You will pick up 5
鸦母的贡品
in this route. These give you 1 bar(5% of a level) of rested XP, so make sure you save them until level 99 for greatest effect.
SPECIAL NOTE #3: You will pick up
钢铁部落炸药
in this route. This stuns you and sends you high in the air for a few seconds. Make sure you get under a tree or something or you might die from fall damage.
For those of you that use TomTom, here are the waypoints of the treasures gathered in Spires of Arak(Click me!)
Due to character limits, you must copy/paste these in 3 chunks.

This route is the toughest and takes close to 15 minutes to complete. If you're worried about running out of time on your potion, you can do a dry run before you start. A lot of these treasures are pretty well hidden, so it might be a good idea if you don't have good knowledge of the zone. The video I linked may be helpful in this regard.
Summary & Final Thoughts
And with that, you should be level 100! If you have any corrections/optimizations let me know. I'm sure these routes aren't 100% perfect and any feedback is appreciated. Once again, if you prefer a video format
here is the video version of this guide.
Hope you found it helpful! Good luck and congratulations on your fresh level 100!
Update 12/19/15:
Due to the fact that you'll have very few followers by the time you reach level 100 using this method,
I also made a quick follower guide for those who are interested.
It's in the same style of this guide where I make an optimized route to grab
16 followers in under 2 hours
(well, 16 for Alliance and 13 for Horde). This sort of covers up a weak spot of this leveling method so I thought I'd throw it out there.

I'll definitely try this method, based on the exp gained per treasure.
Good work on the video, it makes your guide more understandable.
Perhaps, to make things easier, you could make TomTom waypoints to the specific treasures used in this guide. Ex:
/Way Spires of Arak 50, 50 Treasure 1
/Way Spires of Arak 40, 60 Treasure 2
I will post an update as soon as I used this guide to level a character.

This guide was very helpful, but my situation was a little different, so here's what I did, and maybe what you'll do.
My character was already well into level 95 and has 280 flying, not 310. I began by collecting all the
戈尔隆德怪物猎人
quest items, then I unlocked
宾至如归
in Spires of Arak, cleared all but one item of the Spires bonus objectives, and set hearth to Veil Terokk. By the time preparation was finished I had 70% rested (14 bars), was 64% into level 96, and had spent probably about 3-4 hours in total setting up (mostly goofing around in Gorgrond, doing a sloppy job soloing the Monster Hunter elites and waiting for my Mechashredder to come off cooldown).
I chose my final items for bonus objectives like so:
碎手刃舞者
fighting the
瓦拉夏毒牙者
at coords 34, 39.22 for
蜿蜒泥沼
. Easy to peel away especially for ranged, not too much HP. The
一桶收集来的毒液
sounds like a good option but is always surrounded by tight packs of Shattered Hand mobs.
析象器的突变之杖
at coords 28, 29.57 for
刃拳堡
. This may be a gamble as I'm not sure it's always spawned, but it's behind a building and out of NPC range. A safer bet might be
刃拳飞掠者
in the valley below, very low HP and plenty around to kill.
囚犯木桩
at coords 45.82, 66.4 for
血鬃领地
. Easiest of all - no mobs in aggro range, easy to fly in and interact.
The run went like this:
I flew to Beastwatch in Gorgrond, equipped 45% worth of heirlooms (Head, Shoulder, Chest, Back, Legs), drank an
大瓶快速学习药水
and an
敏捷思维药剂
, turned in the stack of monster quests asap using
AutoTurnin
(was worth 681k despite being green con), hearthed to Veil Terokk and did a clockwise circle through the leftmost objectives on this guide's map.
I didn't make the wise choice to do a dry run and eyeball the treasures beforehand. As such, some were very difficult to spot past my flying mount and large Tauren frame. If this is the case, just skip them. DO NOT loot monsters you kill, it's a waste of time since you'll get missed loot in the mail anyway. With the aforementioned loadout each treasure was worth about 100k rested, 49k regular. Writhing Mire and Bladefist Hold were worth 343k and Bloodmane Pridelands was just under 332k (I think that's just a quirk of dinging 100 while finishing). I gathered about 23 treasures total. In my case, I could've grabbed 2 more treasures and finished instead of making a beeline for Bloodmane as I overshot level 100 by almost 260k and with 34 seconds to spare on the Elixir.
The run itself was at times a little nerve-racking but that's part of what made it fun. If it makes you too nervous just remember, the punishment for a near miss is just Nagrand treasure hunting, a few dungeons, or a handful of quests. This was by far the most fun final push to max level I've done. Nowhere near as monotonous as Monkey Runs in MoP or running the same quests for the nth time on your n-1th alt. It doesn't hurt that I already really enjoy treasure hunting with WoD flying!
This is probably the most alt-friendly thing Blizzard has ever done!

Update Log: I'll edit this post whenever I make changes to the guide.
Updates 9/14/2015:
Added the TomTom waypoints for each zone for those of you using that add-on(special thanks to users Tykes and Sarthorius for the suggestions). These are untested, however. As soon as I get home today I'll test them out and make any corrections if needed.
Added another special note for the spires of arak regarding the
钢铁部落炸药
treasure.
Added a table of contents to make it a little more readable. It's starting to look nice!
Added the "Paste" add-on, which is required to paste in multiple TomTom waypoints at once.
Tested out the route once again, this time on a shaman. Since my original run was tested on a death knight, I think the 90 minute average was quicker than usual(I also had the Ilvl 620 archaeology weapon -
战槌酋长的战槌
). On my shaman it took me around 110 minutes. This is with very good knowledge of the bonus objectives/treasures too. So I don't mislead people, I'm changing the title to under ~2 hours, as opposed to 1 and 1/2 hours. I think this is a much more generalized estimation that fits all classes pretty evenly.
Updates 9/15/2015:
Tested out the TomTom waypoints. Seems to be accurate so I'm taking out the "Requires testing" tags.
Cleaned up some grammar, sentence structuring and links. Also added some info about rested XP.
Update 9/25/2015:
Clarified details regarding
阿库伯的灰烬
&
鸦母的贡品
as it was causing some confusion
Updates 9/28/2015:
Added a suggestion regarding the stables(Thanks to user Andru360 for the suggestion!)
Added a suggestion regarding the
大瓶快速学习药水
(Thanks to user TheRealAzoth for the suggestion!)
Update 10/11/2015:
Changed the route color of The Spires of Arak to yellow.(more colorblind friendly)
Update 10/13/2015:
Made the title picture a little smaller and removed the watermark
Update 11/23/2015:
Clarified the /cway command a little more(Thanks to user Lyricsa)
Update 11/29/2015:
Finally figured out how to embed a video for those of you who prefer that format.
Updates 12/19/2015:
Took out the /cway command since it caused some issues. Requires more testing...if I can figure it out I'll add it back in.
Added a link to a new follower guide I made where I route out all of the quick followers in Draenor.(link is in the summary)

Great guide, thanks
How does rested XP fit into this strategy? Is it assumed that the player will have full rested XP?

I wanted to level an alt so I could get a few more garrison buildings. I looked around for an easy way to level and found this guide. The strategy looks real good but, I'm cheap. I couldn't bear to pay the 14k gold that 3
敏捷思维药剂
would have cost on my server. I was also feeling lazy and didn't want to do the bonus objectives. Besides that, I'm not in a big hurry to level this guy, so I worked up a "Lite" version of madseasonshow's strategy:
Preparation
Full rested XP
I upgraded my lvl 90 5 pc heirloom set to lvl 100 (head, chest, legs, shoulders, & ring - cost 10,000 gold) (I'm willing to spend this money because I can use the heirloom set for 3 different characters)
A couple of
大瓶快速学习药水
(200 garrison resources)
Execution
I was about 45% of the way through level 92 when I started out. I didn't do any of the bonus objectives, I just looted treasures. I started in Frostfire Ridge and looted treasures there and in Shadowmoon, Gorgrond and Talador. I didn't loot anything too strenuous. I avoided most caves, big fights and lvl100 areas. After a couple of hours of flying around and looting I had used up all of my rested XP. I got 55% of the way through level 95.
Going the cheap route I got 3 levels in 2 hours (This was on my Panda Monk who maxes out at 60 bubbles of rested XP. All other races get 30 bubbles.). Definitely slower than the main strategy, but way faster than regular leveling. I was happy with what I got, it was easy and I didn't spend too much. I can finish leveling my Alt up to 96 in a couple of days once I get a few more bars of rested XP.
And I'm good to go if I decide to push him to 100. I didn't gather too many of the Talador treasures so I've got what's left of those, plus the treasures in Spires of Arak and Nagrand to go.
I figure I will run out of treasures before hitting 100, but then I can circle back and do the bonus objectives to put myself over the top.
Thanks to madseasonshow for the guide and all the work that went into it. I'm just building on his excellent work.
Update
: I've been following this strat with all my alts, I've gotten five of them to lvl 100 this way. Generally I leveled each of them once a week or so, just enough to use up their rested XP. I've discovered that there are plenty of treasures to get to lvl 100 without doing the bonus objectives. I usually only have to grab 10 or so treasures in Nagrand before I hit 100.

For people like me that do Pet Battles too, I'd advice you try to do the weekly menagerie quest from the garrison. At least do those zones trainers, AFTER you have done the bonus and treasures stuff within the 15 minute from the Elixir, and while you still have the garrison Exp buff up, and on your way to the zones. I use this
Site
to battle the Masters for easy winning. All fights have a way to carry some pets to get leved up too with some strats and 2 pet combination.
For long waypoints macro I prefer the "Paste" addon. You only have to copy all the lines at once, paste it on its window and hit 'paste and close' button. If you miss anything or already did some of the waypoints, or just want some, remove the lines you want and hit the button again.

Just an FYI but you can get about 1-2 levels by doing all the Darkmoon Faire profession/drop quests (and the pet trainers). Complete them all, hop on the carousel for the extra 10%, pop your potion and hand them all in.
I also incorporated the Panda/Garrison pet dailies and found 15 minutes was just enough to hand them all in via hearthing in the valley.
You could probably "pre-pot" the DMF, hand them all in after popping your potion then hearth to garrison and do the starting zones in your guide while still getting full use of the 15 minutes?

SPECIAL NOTE #2: You will pick up 5 Ravenmother Offering in this route. These give you 1 bar of rested XP, so make sure you save them until level 99 for greatest effect.
Item says it won't work past 99 .... guide says to wait until 99 to use them? Guides says it grants a bar of bonus xp ... if I have 5 of them, why would I wait to use 5 levels worth of bonus xp for just one level?
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding ...

Very cool concept... I honestly didn't think to do the bonus objectives less one kill across a zone like that, though I have leveled before 6.2.2 by just getting treasures (thanks Handynotes!)
Great guide, thank you for it!
I think I have one of those elixirs lying around somewhere....

My brother and I finished Frostfire ridge and immediately went into Gorgrond with 1 Elixir of the rapid mind and 1
garrison xp pot, we went from level 93 to 99 in under 10minutes! the set up is the hard part.
First you complete as many quests as possible (we had 14) without having the monster hunter quests, then ofc you get the 8 monsters
quests and complete all bonus objectives except leave 1 mob or object that needs collecting/destroying, now these
steps have all been mentioned before but what we added was we queued for a dungeon and drank the elixir and
potion right before the final boss had died (got Iron Docks and it gave us about 350k xp with no looms) then we
focused on doing the objectives first then handed in the quests and reached level 98 with 6-7 minutes left on the elixir
which we then used to collect treasures and managed to get 1 bonus objective in Talador.
Happy leveling, it was probably the most exciting and tense leveling experience I've ever had!

After grinding 8 straight runs of Skyreach on a tank and just dinging 100, I find this guide *cries*. Gonna test this out on a paladin and see how it goes!

What an incredible and invaluable guide!
Went from 93 1/2 w/ full rested to 2% shy of 97 in an hour by following just the Gorgrond portion of the guide.
Glad I saw the guide before others. Picked up enough
敏捷思维药剂
for 3 alts for about 2.1k gold and now they are over 6k.
One suggestion:
大瓶快速学习药水
are so cheap use one even when doing the first part of the bonus objectives. Might was well get the 20% XP bonus while killing all the stuff up to 1 last mob. In Gorgrond at least, it took me about 40 minutes to get everything prepared to use the 300% elixer so I didn't even need to use 2 of the 20% potions.

Thank you so much for this guide. You explained and organized everything very well. I just went from 96.6 to 99.9 in hour (I screwed up a bonus area, my fault).
One question about the guide though: Why, for Spires of Arak, don't the TomTom coordinates match the map? The first chunk of the coords are in a different area than where the map says Start.
Here's my advice to people going to use the guide, based on my experience, especially my mistakes.
Have lots of empty bag space (20+) prior to starting.
Make sure your heirloom gear is equipped. We are talking about not often used alts here, right?
Don't use your heirloom Touch of the Void trinket while doing bonus areas -- or at least don't have it mindlessly macroed to an ability. *cough* The bonus area I messed up by finishing early was due to the trinket's tentacles killing off the last 2 small mobs I was trying to save for later.
In fact, for bonus area objectives, go for the singular targets first (Kill Taskmaster Banegore, for instance) because you'll likely have to kill some of the more numerous mobs to get to them.
If you have enough garrison resources, buy and use
大瓶快速学习药水
while initially almost-clearing the bonus areas.
Make sure your addons for coordinates, paste, TomTom and HandyNotes are loaded.
If you don't know the locations of all the items well or you aren't doing a dry run first, be prepared to zoom in close due to low tree cover and some items being pretty small. You may need to land on tightropes, too.
Set your status to DND. My friends never talk to me except when I'm trying to get something done quickly!
Great guide!

EDIT: things have changed, you no longer get bonus xp from low level looms =(
For those of you out there who don't like to sell their liver in order to have level 100 looms, like me for example, note that you can just equip them (their level is irrelevant, they will always give bonus xp) during the experience-collecting phase of this guide, while using proper level gear while clearing bonus objectives. You can also macro the equipment, so you don't have to right click everything! Have fun :)

This is something that I would like to try out, and in that regard it's very helpful to have a guide as detailed as this as one's aid. I do however have some inquiries I would like for you to consider.
The first part of the guide is written in a way that establishes the notion that this guide is primarily meant for Alliance players. I think you, and anyone perusing this guide, would benefit by having it written for both factions.
As a Horde, why do you recommend going to Shadowmoon Valley? Flying to the other side of Draenor to pick up some treasures hardly seems like efficient use of time.
Why do you not recommend doing the intro quest chain to Gorgrond? It may muddle up your map somewhat, but you get three additional bonus objectives you can do, which alone far and away outweighs something so trivial as having your map muddled up, which by the way can easily be dealt with by hovering over the minimap and looking at the name of the treasure. Additionally, one can unlock the Proof of Strength quests, which are very fast to complete and can award a significant deal of XP in total.
Lastly, do you really think it's worth going off one's path to travel to the Darkmoon Faire and acquire the +10% XP buff? In the beginning of one's journey in Draenor, there is no quick way of getting there, unless one has one's hearthstone set to Vale of Eternal Blossoms. But even then, you will have to go through four loading screens for it, which may cost a bit of time if you haven't got the fastest computer around. I'm not so sure a +10% XP buff is going to be worth all the time and trouble it takes to get there and back.
Edit:
There are eleven Proof of Strength quests, all granting 14,100 XP upon completion save for one, which for some reason grants 10,580 XP. With the most accessible heirlooms, the garrison XP potion, and the master XP potion, the total amount of XP gained from these quests is (14,100 * 10 + 10,580) * 4.65 = 704,847 XP. You don't want to miss out on that for the little extra time investment involved.
Edit 2:
Do you think it's worth getting gathering professions for the added experience while travelling around?
Edit 3:
A question. How much did you prepare when you did 90-100 on your DK in 90 minutes? Had you done it before? How was your gear?
Edit 4:
If one wants to be a little faster, one should also consider flasks, food and potions. Popping a potion when clearing a bonus objective area will help quite a bit, as your primary stat is almost doubled for the duration, which should be sufficient with killing most of the required mobs.

Hello!
I have made an account to specifically add my two cents to possibly help further this guide in a positive way.
Disclaimer:
This post is mostly in enhancing the horde side of leveling. From reading this post over and over, the author originally puts out he does not own any horde and therefore is unable to add any horde input. I'm here to change that! Secondly, I do want to add that I am a multiboxer. Some of this input has therefore been tested using my own toons, which we will get to in a bit.
So, with that comes a couple of things I have found and tested over 30 toons:
You can in fact lower the number of
敏捷思维药剂
used.
If you are a druid, you can do this guide quicker than any other class due to instant shapeshifting.
If you are not a druid, you can use a level 100 friend (or alt, if multiboxing) to help you do bonus objectives
AND
to fly you around. This saves on gold in the short term.
Quit buying level 100 heirloom sets for each of your toons. Simply buy a single level 100 cloth heirloom set, and have all of your toons use this set to level in, saving money and time.
Why am I suggesting all of this?
For horde, I have repeatedly gone through this process to find that
戈尔隆德
is the core place to level your toon. From here, I have always received about 5 levels. Sometimes 6, depending on the amount of experience the toon starts with. The rest of this comment will specifically focus on pushing the importance of Gorgrond.
The important stuff:
影月谷
&
霜火岭
For this, I am purposingly going to incorporate tanaan jungle to specifically talk about rested experience and its incorporation. If longing onto a fresh level 90 with full rested experience, you are guarenteed level 91 by the time you finish tanaan jungle and up to
建造你的兵营
. You will not have used up all of your rested experience by this time; however, when doing the combination of
影月谷
treasures and
霜火岭
bonus objectives, you will use it all. You
WILL NOT
be using an
敏捷思维药剂
to level through these two areas. By the end of both zones, you will be about level 92 and 1/2 if not using rested experience, 93 if so.
戈尔隆德
Now this is the place that will earn you a lot of experience. Unlike what the OP says, I always did the starting quests up until after you are able to chose whether or not you want the lumber mill or arena. Why? Go to imgur and add /vPCjWry to the end of the url (I'm unable to post links due to new user restraints, my apologies) What happens is that you gain
3 bonus objectives on top of the original ones:
南戈隆峡谷
石槌竞技场
苦痛山脊
These bonus objectives can be added to the route without any real change in route. The addition of these 3 bonus objectives net you an additional 750k, guaranteed. The OP himself states he has quite a bit of extra time to use in Gorgrond, why not use it to gain at least 1 additional level from Gorgrond? This nets you at least 5 levels, putting you at level 97, right where the OP starts Spires of Arak.
Another Disclaimer:
I always went for the lumber mill. I have no idea whether or not the arena changes what bonus objectives you receive.
阿兰卡峰林
Do what the OP says. You're already right where he tells you to be, finish the job.
For the cheapos:
You can, at most, only use one
敏捷思维药剂
. You must use it for Gorgrond, simply because it nets you the most levels. From there, do Spires without the elixir, and do the beginning quests in Nagrand and pick up a couple treasures to finish up.
In total
For preparation, you will be spending a ONE TIME fee of 14k to buy cloth heirlooms and the 10k for each toon you want to level to earn 310% flying speed. If you use a friend, you don't even have to buy flying. Use and abuse your friends and their flight to your benefit. The additional 4k at most per
敏捷思维药剂
. Thus, in total, I have found a way to reduce the amount of gold spent by quite a lot for now what should hopefully be apparent. You will, in the end, spend the same amount of time that the OP says when not considering Tanaan Jungle.
So, I hope that this has benefited my horde friends, and hopefully even my alliance friends. Questions and comments are always welcome and thanks for reading!

As promised, here are my findings regarding some theories put into practice.
I just hit level 100 on my hunter, in part using this guide. I prepared quite a bit, so it was quite the let down when it didn't go as planned. From level 91, I used heirloom pieces in as many slots as possible because they scale and are already much better than the other gear one will have at that level. I used
脏污的狂暴者头盔
,
永恒殉难之志
enchanted with +75 crit,
勇士的赫洛德护肩
enchanted with +15 agility and +5 crit,
黑暗男爵的世袭斗篷
enchanted with +100 crit and +10% movement speed,
勇士的死亡执行者胸甲
enchanted with +9 all stats,
无光泽的毁灭护腿
enchanted with +19 agility and +11 crit,
杉德尔船长的回归指环
because I haven't got the agility one yet,
虚空之触
, and
碎铁的切割者
enchanted with
兆瓦纤维
. I also used
腌鳗鱼
,
德拉诺强效敏捷合剂
,
德拉诺敏捷药水
, which I intended to use while clearing BOs (bonus objectives) but forgot about, and
庆祝包裹
in addition to both XP potions.
I fumbled and faltered in the beginning, which has a tendency to happen when I attempt to do everything perfectly, despite the fact that I practiced with level 1s a dozen times. Early on in the Frostfire Ridge route, I also accidentally typed ‘/reload’ when I intended to check my played time, and of course that particular reload had to be very long. I lost several minutes on my master XP potion because of it, and I frequently had lag spikes after that, forcing me to restart WoW before continuing to Gorgrond.
The intro quest chain to Gorgron hardly took any time, and the reason I wanted to do it, was because it opens up three additional BOs and allows me to collect eleven items that start quests if I choose the sparring arena. What I hadn't considered in advance, is that both the treasures and the BOs, in addition to the quests from the sparring arena related items and the
戈尔隆德怪物猎人
items, diminish in XP as one's level increases, so at the end I only received around 111k XP from the BOs, for instance, instead of around 300-330k. Due to this, I ended up finishing Gorgrond a third or so into level 99 (I probably wouldn't even have hit level 99 if it wasn't for
庆祝包裹
), only seconds left on the master XP potion when I finished the last BO. Otherwise, I would easily have hit level 100 in Gorgrond.
There were two sparring arena quest items that I wasn't able to obtain due to RNG, but they wouldn't have made much of a difference. Out of things to do in Gorgrond, I flew all the way to Nagrand, did a BO and picked up treasures until I finally hit level 100.
From having set up my garrison, it took me quite precisely 2.5 hours until I hit the level cap.
Onto the details of my path to level 100.
Before I start, I'd like to mention that Horde and Alliance do indeed share BOs in all zones (with the exception of Frostfire Ridge and Shadowmoon Valley). One indication of this is the achievements attached to completing all of them within a zone. If the BOs were different for Horde and Alliance, it would mean the requirements for the achievements would have to be different. The different zone leveling guides here on Wowhead also show no distinction between Horde and Alliance as far as BOs go, and I've also leveled both a Horde and an Alliance character to level 100 as well. I watched your video guide,
madseasonshow
, and noticed you were uncertain of this, so thought I'd clear that up.
I ended up spending 53 minutes from standing outside the Dark Portal to completing the quest in which one receives the garrison hearthstone. I used the set of gear I got from boosting the character to level 90 while doing the Tanaan intro quest line, but I made an equipment set for it plus one for heirlooms so I could easily switch to the heirloom set whenever I was going to deliver a quest. When I had set up the garrison, I was almost level 91 thanks to this.
I'm not sure when one can build the stables, but I ended up not doing it, because I would first have needed to build the barracks, which I couldn't afford after having purchased the garrison XP potion. I have no idea how much one will have to do in order to be able to build the stables after setting up the barracks, but I didn't want to take my chances and waste a lot of time (which, ironically, I ended up doing anyway).
I started my route in Frostfire Ridge by the treasure west of Bladespire Citadel right by the ocean shore. From there I flew east, picking up all the easily accessible treasures I came by, completing the Forbidden Glacier BO, Grimfrost BO, where I also delivered the quest
消灭古特拉
, which I did during preparation because it's essentially free XP, and Frostbite Hollow BO, in that order, picking up all easily accessible treasures along the way. I then flew west again, picking up all the treasures on the way to the western shoreline, ending with
被丢弃的幸运硬币
. By the time I had finished the route, I had hit level 93. Granted, I used
庆祝包裹
to further boost my XP gains, but as long as one is equipped with heirlooms, one should get to at least level 92, which is needed for Gorgrond.
As for the Gorgrond route, I essentially followed the one provided in this guide, handing in all my quests in Beastwatch right after finishing the Razorbloom BO.
Conclusion:
I've learned that, for optimal results, one should move onto the next zone before long. With XP from both treasures and BOs diminishing with level, it's not desirable to stay in a zone longer than what is needed. For this reason, one can safely ignore the intro quest chain to Gorgrond and the extra BOs and easy-to-get quest items it opens up, and also
戈尔隆德怪物猎人
. I was able to get the associated creatures down without any issues and in a timely fashion, but the quest items they drop don't grant a whole lot of XP, and since one will have to travel to another zone anyway, one might as well do so sooner rather than later.
In other words, the current Gorgrond route is already optimal. I have some screenshots that I can add to the post later.

Another good tip, when you hit 94, whatever you are doing, immediately go and do the starting questline for Talador, doesn't matter which garrison building you choose, they lead the same way, but by the end of the questline, and going the correct route, you'll have a few new followers and a lvl 2 garrison blueprint book that you can use to upgrade your barracks and get a bodyguard to help this go even quicker

For Horde Players:
I have leveled so far three characters using the guide above as a starting point. I use only one
敏捷思维药剂
, and only focus on Gorgrond. My most recent character went from 94-100 in Gorgrond in 8 mins without even completing all the available bonus objectives.
Some of the basics, you will need to get your garrison to level 2 to buy
大瓶快速学习药水
. The process of following the quest chain to get your garrison to level 2 in frostfire will most likely take you to level 92. Levels 92-94 will occur during the set up of the Gorgrond route. There are some changes to the above guide.
First I chose the gladiator in Gorgrond, as it allows for the collection of 11 quest items from
证明你的力量
that can be stored in your bag.
Second the
戈尔隆德怪物猎人
allows for another 8 quest items that can be collected prior to starting.
Three I complete the intro quests available but do not turn in.
Four by choosing the gladiator, there are 10 bonus objectives available in the area see
把它当做嘉奖
for 9 of them. There is also a Bonus objective not listed called
鞭尾盆地
.
In summary, I have about 26-27 quests ready to turn in, 10 completed bonus objectives, and all the normal treasures. I also try to have fully rested xp, but this most recent one I went in with 72%. Start at the top and run the route as normal. To make set up faster I usually send my character 2 WOD crafted trinkets and a weapon. These up my dps significantly making setup faster.

Something that really irked me as I was beginning this is the Shadowmoon treasures. I feel like you VASTLY overestimated the amount of strength our characters should have at that level or completely forgot that a lot of those treasures would be guarded by mobs, therefore making it impossible to just grab and go, especially since you can't loot while being attacked.
Maybe I should've just tried to cheese my way through it by spamming the collect while hoping the attacks were off-timed so I could grab it and then use Speed of Light to run away far enough to mount up, but oh well... I missed the Frostbite Hallow bonus objective with my first potion, but it's no big deal. It's my fault for not realizing it sooner.
I suggest you add something about the mobs that guard or are roaming around near some of the treasures though, and make sure people know outright that you may end up failing once or twice because of this.
If I had a guildie or friend that could make me a weapon I wouldn't have had that problem either though, maybe suggest something like that for people that don't have a character with a certain production skill that is needed for a basic 630 Warlords Crafted weapon. Other than all that, I think the guide is great. Very well done.

TL;DR: From 90, do Intro, garrison missions until no more from Gazlowe/Baros. Horde: Setup BO's for speed of completing. Hearth with 5min left during the run no matter what.
General notes for 90 thru garrison:
Do the intro and garrison missions until you are in your garrison for the first time. You could skip the intro if you're already at or near 91, and still get your garrison, but to do that is another subject. The intro is a painful way to get a level and you'll get no useful items because they are all covered with heirlooms. Either way you can then buy the 20% pot (and use it at 91) without going beyond "Establish Your Garrison".
If your going to get the stables for Gorgrond (recommended), you should keep doing the garrison quests until there are no more from Gazlowe/Baros. This will leave you right before the mission you'll unlock at 93 to build a level two garrison needed for the stables. You'll get some followers and the barracks, but that can't be avoided. You can skip the mission to Ashran, but it's a free ride, and you'll get Vivianne/Delvar.
Horde notes for Shadowmoon/Frostfire part:
When doing the pre-work on Bonus Objectives I leave one guy to thaw, one wolf to free and one pale. The first two can be thawed/freed from the air without dismounting. Frostbite Hallow is a pain because it's hard not to kill all the pale's before killing all the named, but it can be done. This all saves you time during the run and you'll need it because you are hearthing to Frostfire and flying a lot more than Alliance would.
Before I start the run I clear some of the mobs in first the part so I can fly through all those caves without fighting anything. I also removed the "False-Bottomed Jar" from the tomtom list as it has a 92 PVP mob that will flag you making it easy to get ganked as your finishing the rest.
For the run itself I grab treasures until I've got like 4-5min left on the 300% pot and then hearth. It's key to give yourself enough time to complete the BO's as they are always worth around 280k xp each. The treasures start having a diminishing return about half way and so you'll only be get getting around 38k each towards the end. You could garrison hearth after "Forbidden Glacier" to save some seconds, but there's a loading screen, so way that in.
Doing this I can level from low 91 to about 94.5, only skipping the PVP Jar and the last treasure on the list. A druid can do it all with no problems because of air looting. This assumes you have everything suggested except WHEE.

Hi.
Just want to add something for the Gorgrond route:
As said in the vid, you have alot of time to spare when you are done.
(I want to say that I did this nice and steady, no rush at all.)
What I did in gorgrond, I cleared all bonus objectives along the route down to one kill or one pick up before its 100% complete as the guide says. But i also picked up the treasures without "Elixir of the Rapid Mind", only with the buff you get from Darkmoon Faire and Excess Potion of Accelerated Learning.
Then I went to talador and cleared down those 4 bonus objectives down to last kill or pick up. Here I did not pick up any treasures while clearing.
So I was ready to boost away.
I altered the gorgrond route a bit, but i have no pic to show for sadly, but as seen on the gorgrond map of this guide, they are numbered. So I can tell you wich I went for in that order.
Start: (with Elixir of the Rapid Mind, Excess Potion of Accelerated Learning, and Darkmoon Faire buff)
1. Bonusobjective: II
2. Bonusobjective: I
3. Bonusobjective: VIII
4. Bonusobjective: VII
5. Bonusobjective: V
6. Bonusobjective: IV
7. Bonusobjective: III
In that order ONLY doing the objectives. (as you can see, "VI" are missing, but i think that's a mistake made by the guy who made the guide, totally irrellevant but I just wanted to say that no bonusobjective are missing!)
As you can see I ended up far south in Gorgrond, leaving me close to Talador and more bonus objectives.
In Talador you just have to locate those bonusobjectives on your own, but it should not take long, and you deside what you wanna spare for the kill or pick up here.
There should be 4 bonus objectives that are pretty easy to get done in Talador. So with the sparetime from the gorgrond bonus route I just told you, you should be able to do all 4 in Talador aswell within the time of 15minute (Elixir of the Rapid Mind). Leaving you with 11 Bonusobjectives in 1 elixir. Wich in my opinion is a hell of a xp boost.
Btw I did this as horde, I dont know how those bonusobjectives in Talador are for alliance.
I hope this is for good use for someone, and maybe someone could look this route over and try perfecting it?

Following the second one was just perfect, 93 1/2 in Frostfire without leaving it, 97 1/3 in Gorgrond, finished in Spires without 310% flight speed, and looms. Third char was lvl'ed up like second and took me like 80 mins, but all of those had rested bonus. I dont count time which is needed to prepare alt. Its superb guide.

Hi, first of all i'd like to thank you for creating this great guide. Last night (after meticolously testing and preparing for hours) i've tried your method on my Orc DK (obviously Horde). With full set of heirlooms +
敏捷思维药剂
+ %20 pot. I did exactly the shadowmoon treasures route and frostridge BOs. There are some things i'd like to report:
1- TomTom, while is great to have, does not show the next treasure as it shows the nearest. So i've managed to create the exact route by the addon
Routes
. What you need to do is if you have not previously created any routes, make a empty new one in shadowmoon valley and logout. Under C:\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\Your_AccountName\SavedVariables\ there is routes.lua file (if your Wow installation is in a different folder just adjust it). Paste these in the routes.lua (Don't blindly paste everything , just the coordinate numbers into your previously created route which has 3 nodes. I'm just writing more than needed just to show what goes where)
= {
= {
= {
= 11768.5795545341,
= {

},
},
After this , you have a perfect route and this can feed TomTom arrow with the next treasure node. You can also adjust the range for Routes to change to waypoint to the next node by the slider. I removed the false bottomed jar node (explained in the next paragraph)
2-) 51.8 35.5 False-Bottomed Jar is safe to classify as Alliance only :D While i believe it's possible to be picked by Horde players, alliance npc guards aggroed almost everytime, which spoils this xp run. Besides it gives very little xp and 50-60 gold as explained in the original guide.
3-) I've managed to ding from 91.6 to 94.5 but i had 3 (yes three) seconds left when i completed the last BO at frostridge. Almost had an heart attack. After hearthing from shadowmoon to worgor i spent like 30 secs to find a frostwolf to thaw (i should have completed thawing objectives and instead left an elemental to kill). Other than that flying took most of the time. When i hearthed from shadowmoon to worgor i had over 4 mins of potion time left. This is a close shave and considering that BOs give the most xp maybe we should reverse the order and start with frostridge and hearth to shadowmoon (if possible).
I'm going to attempt gorgrond and if necessary spires (i've picked the frostridge treasures before %20 pot expires and dinged to 95) and i will post the routes.lua if it's useful to people using this guide.
Cheers

Again don't forget that this is not the whole routes.lua file , you should replace node data with your self created route as explained on my previous post.
Btw my char was lvl 95.5 when i started gorgrond route and as written by the OP this route is shorter and i had 5 mins left on my pot when completed. I had a dungeon quest ready to return at my garrison and hearthed at the end of the route. After returning the quest for a hefty xp of 118k i managed to reach the northern shores of nagrand (i play horde so my garrison is just across nagrand elemental plateau) and picked up several easy treasures for 55k each before the elixir run out. In short it's possible to skip spires altogether and just use 2 pots and fill the rest with nagrand treasures.

I had 5 alts sitting at around 92 - 94 and started pushing 1 slowly to 96 and it took hours.
After trying the Gorgrond part of this guide with just the garrison buff and rested XP on one toon
I got to 99 in 2 hours - and that was my healer.
Thanks for the guide , guess I'll have 7 lvl 100's by the end of the week.
Might even cough up and buy an Elixer for each of them to save time.
Great Work!

Great guide! I recently used this guide while leveling through 90-100. Got to 100 under 2 hours as you advertised. Thank you! (Btw i used 3 elixir of the rapid mind and one xp pot from the garrison)

Whenever I paste the co-ords listed into Tomtom, it seems to give me the target treasures in reverse order with the last on the list as the first to go for?

I got from 93 to 100 in about 2 hours using this method.
My main issue is that I didn't have flying, and I won't have the required reputations to revered for quite some time. But stubborn me wanted my monk leveled now. Full heirlooms minus rings, 5 of both exp potions, level 1 garrison. Sure, why not?
I was probably 40% into 93 when I started, and I ended up using 3 XP pots to hit 100.
I also had full rested exp all the way to cap, so it will probably make a difference.
I gathered very little treasure since most of it was too far out of the way to be grabbed quickly. I managed to cap from the bonus objectives in SMV, Gorgrond, and two additional ones from Talador. After finishing all of SMV and Gorgrond, I had about 8 minutes left on the potion which allowed me to hit Talador for two more that got me my last 50%. Had I not missed two objectives in Gorgrond before the timer ran out, I could have used my third potion in Arak and leveled several more times if needed.
I just wanted to see if this was possible without flying, and it definitely is if you're quick with the objectives. It won't be as fast and you may need another potion if you start out at 90 (or if you're like me and derp on a couple objectives), but this is still an extremely fast method if you have the gold.
I'll do this next weekend with a fresh 90 and see how well it goes with no flying.
Good luck to everyone attempting this and thanks for the great guide!

A LOT cheaper, easier, and faster way to do this is to only do Gorgrond and Talador.
Simply do all the bonus objectives, kill all the Trophy of Glory mobs, complete all the quests in the Stonemaul arena, then hit 94 and do the Talador bonus objectives.
From there you will position yourself in Gronn canyon and then que and do a Random Dungeon, pop your XP potion before the last boss of the instance dies and then complete all the bonus objectives and quests.
You ACTUALLY level from 94-100 in the ONE single 15-minute Rapid Mind potion, it costs less, takes less time, less effort and is just easier as a whole. The hardest part is finding a 2nd person to help with Trophy of Glory quests and getting them to NOT &*!@ up your bonus objectives, but that's easily remedied by simply not doing the bonus objectives until after you kill all the Trophy of Glory mobs.
You can even recruit a level 100 friend to assist with this but make sure they don't mess it up for you.

Dumb question, but, what is meant by "Go to each of these zones(Shadowmoon Valley -> Gorgrond -> Arak) and complete every bonus objective up to 1 kill or item pick up."
So, when I go to a bonus area and that thing pops up showing 0-100% progress... I kill 1 thing and that's all?
Good guide, hoping to try it this weekend, but kinda lost on the complete every bonus up to 1 kill, not sure how that's complete....

While this works, post 7.0 the garrison mission for the XP potion no longer exists, so finding one of these XP potions can be nearly impossible on many realms, not to mention will be way more expensive than the 2-3K listed in the guide.

Hi folks,
In case some people were skeptical about this, I can confirm it is absolutely legit HOWEVER, its LESS than 2 hours.
I completed level 90-100 in 40 minutes following the above guide but I didn't even need to do Spires of Arak!
For anyone confused, you simply go to each bonus objective and complete it 99% leaving only one item to collect, destroy or enemy to murder - then you zip to the next objective and do the same. Then when you have done that to all the objectives you start at the first one again, pop the elixir and complete the objective. It can be as simple as just leaving one mushroom to be collected, or one enemy to be stamped out.
With full heirlooms minus the rings, an elixir and a potion of advanced learning bought from the Garrison Quartermaster, on average each Bonus Objective granted half to a third of a level.
40 minutes from leaving the Draenor intro questline to dinging level 100.
Do it! (On your way to objectives, don't forget to pick up treasures as these give about 35/50k experience too! Happy Leveling!)

A couple years on, but I still have to give mad props here - this guide is great.
I'm an altoholic, and had a bunch of toons in the mid 90s (from doing the first half or so of Frostfire Ridge's treasures), but had been dreading doing the second half as in my experience it has taken at least 4 or so hours - that is, collecting every treasure and doing every rare. Even doing two toons at a time (thanks to dual boxing), it was never something I was looking forward to.
With about 8 toons in this bracket to level, I bit the bullet and decided to follow this guide instead - and it's just so darn efficient! It's not 100% perfect just yet - there are a couple treasures that, despite offering little to no exp, offer enough gold to be worth looting, as well as some followers that give treasure-level exp when you recruit them - but it's very darn close and an excellent starting point for any altoholic. Those 8 toons all went from about 95-96 through to 100 in a combined ~6 hours, using only the garrison elixirs for extra boosting (averaged out to about 1.5 hours each, with 2 toons at a time).
Looking forward to trying it with my next ~90, to see how close they'll get to 100 just by following this, even without the expensive consumable elixir. I mean, with a couple zones to spare it shouldn't matter if they don't get the whole way there; hell, my ~95s (with admittedly full rested) were getting through far less than half of Arak before dinging.
I'll also be looking at doing a Frostfire Ridge guide for treasures, which I'll post here (Tomtom coords) if I do. There are definitely a fair few treasures that are easy to fly to and collect, and while it's likely not as good as Shadowmoon it's far more convenient for the hordies to get as much as they can from there. What I'll likely do is get all the treasures in my next run on a horde character, and then make note of which ones actually give worthy exp.

Attempted this today and it looks like scaling has added a level qualification for the bonus zones. at level 91, none of the gorgrand bonus objectives would flag for me.
