Operation: Mechagon is a max-level dungeon located on
麦卡贡
. It is available to Level 120 players on Mythic difficulty only and is considered to be a megadungeon, similar to Legion's Return to Karazhan. Operation: Mechagon contains 8 bosses and has a weekly lockout.
This guide will outline strategies and important role-based responsibilities for each of the 8 bosses in Operation: Mechagon, how to activate the known Hard Mode encoutners, as well as some tips on particularly threatening trash mobs.
In Patch 8.3,
Heroic
and
Mythic+
difficulties will be added to Operation: Mechagon. For these difficulties, it will be split into two different instances. The official names are:
Operation: Mechagon - Junkyard
- Gunker, Trixie & Naeno, King Gobbamak, HK-8
Operation: Mechagon - Workshop
- Tussle Tonks, K.U.J.O., Head Machinist Sparkflame, King Mechagon
Heroic Mechagon is available in the Dungeon Finder, so if you haven't managed to experience this dungeon yet, you'll be able to queue for it in 8.3!
Loot and Rewards
Loot in Operation: Mechagon consists of the following:
415 item level armor, weapons and trinkets.
415 item level conditional rings, that when fused together, have interesting bonuses.
415 item level shoulder and chest Azerite Armor.

Operation: Mechagon's Hard Mode Rewards
Each run, you'll get the following rewards:

You start off Operation: Mechagon in a familiar location. If you've been spending your time on Mechagon, you'll know the layout of the area containing the first 4 bosses.
The first 4 bosses and their locations are:

The first 3 bosses can be done in any order, at which point to the
HK-8型空中压制单位
will land in Junkwatt Depot.
The
HK-8型空中压制单位
will be flying over one of the bosses and locations listed above.
You'll want to defeat any boss that does not have the
HK-8型空中压制单位
flying over it, as it will make the fight harder.
Defeating all the bosses with the
HK-8型空中压制单位
above it is one of the conditions to activate Hard Mode, which is covered at the very bottom of the guide.
After the first boss has been defeated, it will move to a new location.
After the second boss has been defeated, it will hover over Junkwatt Depot.
After the third boss has been defeated, the
HK-8型空中压制单位
encounter will activate and players should head there for the final encounter of the area.
Choose a boss that does not have the
HK-8型空中压制单位
over it.

Notable Trash Mobs
剧毒畸体
mobs only have two abilities:
剧毒卷须
and

.
剧毒卷须
is cast about every 20 seconds, and will pull all players to the center of the
剧毒畸体
.
It will then immediately cast

This creates a zone of
吞噬软泥
under itself that slowly expands, dealing damage and applying a healing reduction to any player hit. This can be removed using a Disease Dispel.
While
吞噬
is being channeled, players will be pulled towards the
剧毒畸体
and towards the
吞噬软泥
.
Players should start running away the second that they are gripped in by
剧毒卷须
.
Players should stand close to the
剧毒畸体
as the farther away you are, the longer it will take to get gripped in by
剧毒卷须
. This causes you to have less time to escape the expanding
吞噬软泥
pool.
Players with forced movement abilities such as
逃脱
or
野性冲锋
can interrupt the pull by using their ability while in mid air.
Run out of the expanding
吞噬软泥
after you get pulled in!
粘液元素
s will cast
粘液箭
on random targets dealing damage and slowing the target by 50% for 6 seconds.
Players should aim to interrupt
粘液箭
when pulled with a
剧毒畸体
as the slow will make running out of the
吞噬软泥
much more difficult. The debuff can also be removed with a Poison debuff
粘液元素
s will face a direction and cast
粘液之潮
, causing them to charge in that direction dealing high damage to anyone hit and knocking them back.
Make sure to dodge out of the way when
粘液元素
casts this ability.
侏儒消化者粘液
s don't have too much health, but as they are damaged, they will spawn

s.
Both of these mobs will cast
酸液溅射
, an uninterruptable spell that does minor damage to all players.
The

s have little health and should be cleaved down, as otherwise there will be many casts of
酸液溅射
dealing very high damage to players.

, targeting a player with an interruptable cast, followed by an interruptable channel that stuns the target and dealing damage.
One player should be assigned to interrupt the

If no interrupt is available, you can use a Crowd Control or Displacement ability to interrupt the channel.

Boss Abilities and Strategy
To summon
冈克
, you have to defeat all three
剧毒畸体
mobs in the Outflow to free three

s. The three

s will activate the boss and aid you in this encounter.
All of
冈克
's abilities revolve around the

ability.
Coming into contact with a pool of
毒性粘液
will cause the player to become

.
There is a permanent pool of
毒性粘液
under
冈克
so melee should make sure that they don't enter his hitbox.
While
束缚粘液
, players are incapacitated, preventing them from using other actions.
When a player is
束缚粘液
, other players should defeat the Goop encasing them.
A player with a Disease dispel can instantly remove
束缚粘液
from a player or Squirt Bot.
This is where the

s come in.
Stand in the

to avoid getting

When the encounter starts, the

Be careful when defeating the Goop, as while the

periodically does damage every 3 seconds to the entire party using his

ability but he has a few other abilities that he follows in a set pattern:
He will periodically rain pools of

into the arena, indicated by green swirlies.
About 10 seconds later, he will cast

, drawing all pools of

directly to him.
Players should make sure that there is no

pool directly behind them.
Alternatively, they should stand in a

and the boss.
He will then once again drop more pools of

10 seconds later, he'll cast

, sending out a wave of

in all directions.
There are no gaps in this ability, so players must be standing in a

or directly behind one.
You can outrange

but it requires players to be very far out of range.

This is a massive armor reduction to your Tank and Tanks should be careful about pulling extra mobs with these.

do not share a health pool. When one of them is defeated, the other becomes empowered so you'll want to kill these bosses at about the same time.

. This increases her Haste by 100%.

is defeated first,

. This makes his melee attacks deal high raid damage to all players.

, a 2.5 second long cast that will deal a small amount of up front damage, but applies a hard hitting DoT that lasts for 20 seconds.
Players should coordinate interrupts whenever possible, but it's inevitable that some of these casts will go through.

will also periodically reposition using

Every so often,

will instead cast

This is an 8 second long uninterruptable cast that marks a player.
At the end of the cast, the player will be stunned for 8 seconds and take a very high amount of damage.
To counter this, the marked player should enter the

, left behind by

, at the last second. This prevents the player from getting

d.

Notable Trash Mobs

will only cast

which applies a 20 second Bleed to your tank.

These Troggs will try to

increasing damage done by 100%. Try to interrupt this whenever possible.
You can also remove this buff with a Soothe effect.

s will should have a couple of interrupts dedicated to their casts.
Shamans will try to cast

on a nearby target. This reduces their damage taken by 75% and grants immunity to Crowd Control effects.
In addition, they will also try to cast

. If successful, this roots all players for 8 seconds, making it very difficult to dodge other abilities.
Both these abilities should have a kick assigned to them.

These troggs deal minor damage but will quickly become overwhelming.
You'll want to use the Stolen Tech in the area to help keep the number of

s low.
At 100 Energy,

will cast

on the Tank.
This deals very high damage that is split among all players near the Tank.
The party should group up during this cast to help the Tank survive.
Every player that is hit by
充能之击
will become

d dealing a small amount of damage over time.
Players can remove the
电荷充能
early by standing next to either the

or a

This also activates the Stolen Tech for 20 seconds, which will instantly kill any

As you head to Junkwatt Depot, note that straying too far from the path will probably aggro some stealthed

Ranged players can outrange the

, but this may cause the Cavalry to charge very far away from the melee.

They will alternate between casting

Phase 1 takes place against the

The Tank Buster will cast... a Tank Buster called

This deals a large amount of Physical damage every second for 3 seconds to the Tank.
Every hit also stacks the debuff

which makes every hit harder than the last.
Tanks should make sure they have cooldowns active for this ability.
Avoid the Walkie Shockies until they

.
At certain points of time in Phase 1, the HK-8 will cast

. This will also be cast whenever the HK-8 recovers from being downed in Phase 2.
This will summon some

s into the arena.
The Walkie Shockies are completely immune to damage but can be Crowd Controlled.
These robots will focus random targets, slowly walking towards them and leaving

in their wake.
Their energy depletes over time and upon hitting 0 energy, they will

Druid's

are particularly good at dealing with the Walkie Shockies.
There are some other things going on in the phase.
When you engage the Tank Buster, a Blue Ring will lock players into the Arena and teleport players back inside if they try to leave.
The healer will have to deal with the

The HK-8 will move around the outskirts of the arena and periodically cast

towards the center of the arena.
This creates a line of cannon blasts that will nearly one-shot any players hit.
You can have someone follow the movements of the HK-8 to know where the cannon blasts will be showing up.

Once the Tank Buster has been defeated, the Intermission phase will start.
Phase 2
The Phase will start by announcing that the North or South Overcharge South has activated.
Start positioning to the side of the Arena and after a few seconds, the ring around the edge of the arena will disappear.
The
HK-8型空中压制单位
will fly to the center of the arena and start casting

dealing light ticking damage to the party.
This will also start a slowly expanding zone, dealing very high damage to anyone who is caught in it.
This forces players towards the Overcharge Station
Players must make their way to the Overcharge Station while dodging various traps.
The first trap that players will encounter is

This trap is located underneath the grated floors and will periodically light up and activate.
Standing on the grates when they activate will cause you to take a high amount of damage and stun you for 2 seconds which may cause you to get by another trap.
The second trap that players will encounter is the
Sentry Array
.
This trap is a rotating set of beams that will teleport you back to the start if you're hit by them.
Classes with Leaps and Jumps will be able to traverse over the Sentry Array.
The third trap that players will encounter is the
Sentry Bots
.
Getting hit by a bot will teleport you back to the start.
The first set of bots will alternate traversing down the left and right side of the platforms.
The second set of bots will rotate around the Overcharge Station.
Dodge the rotating Sentry Array and
喷涌冲击
s.
Once you make it to the top, you can start a Hacking channel on the Overcharge Station.
The Overcharge Station starts with 100 energy.
Every second that anyone spends hacking will remove 2 energy from the Overcharge Station.
When the Overcharge Station hits 0 energy, the
HK-8型空中压制单位
will go

making it fall to the ground and taking triple damage for 30 seconds.
During this time,

will fly out of the boss and you should dodge the area of impact.
If the boss is not dead at the end of the 30 second channel, it will fly back up into the air and you'll start at Phase 1 again.
Click on the Overcharge Station to hack it. Make sure to dodge the Sentry Bots!
You must cause the

Inside Mechagon City
After defeating the

, players can now head into the city. Head up the ramp behind and head into the small hole.
Tussle Tonks Notable Trash Mobs
You'll enter the Robodrome and there's only one trash pack before the next boss! The Robodrome is a deadly place with many environmental hazards.
Around the edges of the room are many saw blades and coming into contact with them will cause you to take damage.
Periodically,

s will activate and roll around the arena in a certain pattern. Dodge these whenever possible!

s will cast

This should be interrupted to reduce damage.

targeting a player with a blue swirly under their feet.
After the cast finishes, the

Simply move out of the zone!

s will cast channel

summoning many orange swirlies.
Getting hit by one does moderate damage.
You can use a stun to stop the channel and the

cast.
Tussle Tonks Boss Abilities and Strategy
After all the Trash Tonks are dead, the two bosses will spawn: The
白金拳手
and
仁慈侏儒4.U.型
These bosses do not share a health pool and do not need to die at the same time.
We recommend killing
仁慈侏儒4.U.型
as soon as possible.
The Arena will continue to have
电锯
s active but there's another environment hazard that is important to this fight.
There are 4 Piston Smashers located around the room.
Piston Smashers look like giant hammers and will activate when something moves under it.
After being activated, it will smash into the ground after a couple seconds and the PIston Smasher will become permanently deactivated when it hits the
白金拳手
.
The
白金拳手
initially takes 99% reduced damage due to 3 stacks of
白金外壳
.
Each time the
白金拳手
is struck by a Piston Smasher it will remove one stack.
At the start of the fight, the Tank should use their Taunt and bring
白金拳手
underneath 3 total Piston Smashers.
The healer will likely gain healer aggro until the first stack is removed so make sure that the Tank constantly taunts it in the right direction.
Bring the
白金拳手
underneath a Piston Smasher.
Periodically the
白金拳手
will cast
回旋刀锋
dealing high damage to anyone who remains in melee range after the cast has finished.
Players should back away for the short time this ability takes.
The
白金拳手
will also

s on the ground that you should dodge.
Don't be in front during

!
仁慈侏儒4.U.型
will spend a lot of its time not hitting the tank.
When
仁慈侏儒4.U.型
casts

, look in the direction that its facing and dodge the upcoming charge.
After it impacts the wall, it will be stunned for 10 seconds.

will also fixate a random player and cast

This cast slows itself by 60% and the fixated player should run away!
The party will take very high fire damage every second for 10 seconds and the healer should use cooldowns during this time.
If you're directly in front of

, you'll take additional damage.

Notable Trash Mobs
Once you fall down the trash chute, you can start making your way to
狂犬K.U.-J.0.

You should aim to stagger the

deaths, or Line of Sight the cast.

is a very simple encounter with few mechanics.
Spread out with

Because of this, it's important to not hide behind Junk Cubes that are "Heated" at the start of the cast.
Hide out of line of sight during

狂犬K.U.-J.0.
will cast
烈焰撕咬
on the Tank.
This deals very high Magic damage every second and must be dispelled.
When dispelled it deals minor damage to the rest of the party.
There is a short grace window until the first tick of the debuff to allow the healer an easier time dispelling.
Machinist's Garden Notable Trash Mobs
Before you encounter any more trash, you first have to head down the Conveyor Belt Gauntlet.
The Conveyor Belt will be pushing against you and you'll have to dodge jets of flame.
The first player to make it to the end of the Gauntlet can push a button to disable the flame jets.
It's faster to walk on the edges of the Conveyor Belts as those don't push you in any direction.
Walk against the Conveyor Belts and dodge the fire!
At this point, you enter Mechagon city and are greeted by an Alarm-o-Bot. This activates the city defenses.

Everyone should stay away from its front when it casts

as it silences anyone hit for 8 seconds.

dealing high damage to anyone hit by the rockets.

This long channel will periodically deal damage to three-quarters of the area.
The area that is safe will be telegraphed beforehand and players should move to that area.
Look for the faint blue outline for where the

will fire.
Once you defeat all the waves, you'll head to a stealth section.
There will be an alleyway full of

s that you have to make your way through.
Entering the circle of an
侦测机器人
will get you teleported back to the start.
However, entering a

will prevent a

from detecting you while in its circle.
Dodge the
侦测机器人
s and use the

s to hide!
For the last pack before the boss there are two new creatures:

s do nothing special except stack the

Bleed on your Tank.

s can be very deadly if you don't interrupt.

should be prioritized as it increases the haste of all robots by 100%.

should also be kicked as it heals 10% health every 2 seconds.
Machinist's Garden Boss Abilities and Strategy
The Machinist's Garden looks like a nice robot garden, but it has many hidden traps that try to kill your group! As the fight goes on, there will be more and more things to dodge.

has an energy bar and at 100 energy, he will cast
“隐秘”烈焰火炮
.
If you look at the center statue, you'll see little spouts that pertude after the cast.
These spouts tell you where the Flame Cannons are going to begin.
A few seconds later, the Flame Cannons will fire, locking players in the section of the room that they're currently in.
Getting hit by the Flame Cannon leaves a very high ticking DoT and stacks if you cross multiple lines.
Stay between the
“隐秘”烈焰火炮
lines!
Look for spouts before
“隐秘”烈焰火炮
is cast.
Throughout the fight, Sparkflux will also activate
不起眼的盆栽
s.
These will focus a random player and channel
电荷绽放
.
This deals single target damage until the
不起眼的盆栽
is dead.
Once it dies, it becomes an
烈油之泉
and will transform when hit by the next
“隐秘”烈焰火炮

This transforms it into a

causing many fire patches to dodge near it's corpse.

s will never despawn and you'll have more and more fire patches to dodge as the fight goes on.
Sparkflux's

is a blue swirl on the ground.
This will be cast on the location on a random player.
Getting hit will disorient the player for 9 seconds, but it can be magic dispelled.
If this hits your tank, Sparkflux will start to melee hit another target.
Sparkflux's last ability is

This is a bouncing sawblade that will never despawn.
Getting hit will deal a large amount of damage.
King Mechagon Notable Trash Mobs
Head up the ramp and kill the second
蜘蛛坦克
to summon your ride to the final boss area!
These mobs have a frontal cone

that silences anyone hit for 8 seconds.
They will also

The remainder of the trash has already been seen earlier in the instance.
King Mechagon Boss Abilities and Strategy
Phase 1
King Mechagon starts the fight in his

While in this mode, he does not melee hit the tank but instead spam casts

This does pure magic damage so physical damage mitigation will not work on this portion of the encounter.

King Mechagon will target a player with

.
In Phase 1, this fires towards the target and pierces them, dealing a large amount of upfront damage and leaving a damage over time effect.
This debuff lasts 12 seconds and increases damage taken from
超荷电磁炮
by 100%. This bonus effect is not important during Phase 1.
The last Phase 1 is
切割光线
.
The
R-21/X型空中单位
will

and then channel

for 12 seconds.
This deals high damage to the entire party, but does massive damage to anyone directly under the

will chase a random target during this time.

hitbox is very small and melee DPS can continue DPS'ing without taking the extra damage.
Phase 2
Once the
R-21/X型空中单位
has been defeated, King Mechagon will stun all players and enter the

The

will still be cast from Phase 1.
The
欧米茄破坏者
is tanked like a regular mob.
However, the large change to this phase is the
超荷电磁炮
.
In Phase 2,
超荷电磁炮
is much wider and has a graphic showing exactly where's its firing.
It is also cast 3 times rapidly in succession, making the !00% bonus damage debuff important to manage during this phase.
Players who are marked with
超荷电磁炮
will have a large line animation tethered to their character.
We recommend that the targeted player
do not move
, letting everyone else move out of the effect.
It's important that if
超荷电磁炮
is not targeted on you, you move out of the effect to not get the debuff.
If you're hit by a second
超荷电磁炮
during the same set, the second cast will likely be lethal damage without a large damage reduction.
Stand still if targeted by
超荷电磁炮
and let other players dodge!
Lastly, King Mechagon will detach his
万磁臂
and land in the arena.
Players and
等离子球
s will be drawn towards the
万磁臂
for 9 seconds.
This also deals high ticking damage to the party that is reduced by increasing your distance from the
万磁臂
.
Phase 3
After defeating the
欧米茄破坏者
, King Mechagon ejects onto the Arena.
He has no special mechanics.
Operation: Mechagon Hard Mode
Step 1: Hard Mode First 3 Bosses
To activate this Hard Mode, the first thing you have to do is defeat the first three bosses while the
HK-8型空中压制单位
is hovering over them.
You do not need to defeat the Trash while the
HK-8型空中压制单位
is above.
You can clear the Trash (or summon
冈克
) before the HK-8 moves to make it a little easier.
What does the
HK-8型空中压制单位
do for the first 3 bosses?
It periodically summons 3

robots into each encounter that function the exact same as the ones from the HK-8 encounter.
You'll have to deal with the regular mechanics of the first three bosses, while having to deal with

We recommend using a Druid with

Step 2: Hard Mode

Once you defeat all three bosses on Hard Mode, you can head to the

. You'll know you activated the Hard Mode and on the right track because you'll see a

This mob has similar mechanics to the MK1, but hits harder.
It also has replaced its

, a split damage mechanic that forces players to be stacked throughout this phase.

Individually, these are the exact same, but now, all three Walkie Shockies are connected by a

This deals very high damage to any who remains in the

Players can quickly walk through the

to only take 1 tick of damage, but space is now even more limited.
Stay away from the
震荡交流
s!
The last change of Hard Mode is you only
55 seconds
to make the
HK-8型空中压制单位
go

before

wipes the party.
This greatly reduces the amount of mistakes you can make heading to the Overcharge Station.
Step 3: Hard Mode

After defeating Hard Mode
HK-8型空中压制单位
, you can head to
狂犬K.U.-J.0.
as per normal. However, once you get to
HK-8型空中压制单位
you'll get a pile of
Robo-Waste
on the ground.
This is located near where you walk in on the left side.
Click the Robo-Waste to send it flying into the fire and activate Hard Mode.
Click on the Robo-Waste to activate Hard Mode
狂犬K.U.-J.0.
.
Once you pull
狂犬K.U.-J.0.
, the Hard Mode mechanic starts kicking in.
The debuff
will slowly stack on the party, reducing movement speed by 5% per stack.
This will cap at 16 stacks, slowing players by about 80%.
You'll have to defeat
狂犬K.U.-J.0.
while under this slow, so much sure to head to the Junk Cubes early when he casts
喷射烈焰
.
Hard Mode King Mechagon
If you did all the steps above correctly, you'll see a pillar with a red button on it. Obviously, you should hit it and this activates the Hard Mode when you pull the boss.
Click the Red Button before the fight begins!
The Hard Mode involves the
歼敌机器人5000型
, an untargetable NPC is primed to detonate once its countdown finishes.
The
歼敌机器人5000型
has an energy bar that can be seen on the Boss Frames.
The Energy Bar drains at a rate of 20 energy every 9 seconds (2.22 energy per second).
When the Energy Bar hits 0 energy, the party will die after a few seconds.
However, when the
歼敌机器人5000型
gets to 35 energy, a "Termination Sequence" will begin.
Then, one at a time, each
输入面板
will flash a colour and picture until each
输入面板
has flashed once.
The colour and picture is not relevant and the only thing that your group will need to remember is the activation order of the
输入面板
s.
The
输入面板
s will all flash a Red Skull once again before all
输入面板
s will reactivate with colours. This starts the "Input Phase", allowing players to click on the
输入面板
s.
Players must then input the correct Termination Sequence, by clicking the
输入面板
in the same order that you saw earlier.
Inputting the correct Termination Sequence will reset the
歼敌机器人5000型
's Energy back to 100.
Players will be able to click on the
输入面板
s starting at 11 Energy on the
歼敌机器人5000型
.
This means that there's only 5 seconds to input the entire Termination Sequence.
This is not enough time for players to move between
输入面板
s, so you'll need one person stationed at each of the
输入面板
s.
Input Phase: When the
输入面板
s reactivate, each player should click on their
输入面板
when its their turn!
This Termination Sequence will occur
every 45 seconds throughout the ENTIRE
King Mechagon fight. Because of this, there are some bad overlaps with some of King Mechagon's mechanics occurring duration a Termination Sequence.
Players should not stand near the
输入面板
s until the "Input Phase" as
离子校正
might place a
等离子球
in the way or at a bad time.
Players should not kill the
R-21/X型空中单位
as the Termination Sequence is starting, as players may be stunned during the "Input Phase."

and

can line up with the Termination Sequence and you'll have to do your best to survive while paying attention to the combo.
Due to camera issues, we found it easiest for players to focus on one specific
输入面板
and call when it activates. This is our recommended strategy.
Assign each player one
输入面板
to pay attention to.
In Phase 1, we used 3 DPS and 1 Tank because the healer is very busy during this phase.
In Phase 2, we used 3 DPS and 1 Healer because the tank needs to stay in range of the boss.
When your
输入面板
flashes, you should call out which number your
输入面板
is in the rotation.
The player who is watching the first
输入面板
to activate should call "1!"
The player who is watching the second
输入面板
to activate should call "2!", after already having heard someone else call "1!"
e.g. If a player sees their
输入面板
activate and has heard other players already called "1!", "2!" and "3!", they would know that their
输入面板
is 4th and should call "4!".
Once the Input Phase begins, each player should click on their
输入面板
and call their number once again to signify they have clicked.

One thing I didn't see on here was an ability we found on K.U.J.O. A stacking debuff, noxious stench I think it is. To remove it, you need to pick up the dog's poop. So put one person in your group on pooper scooper duty.

The guide doesn't cover the ability to remove the stacks during hard mode KUJO. If you click the poop on the floor that spawns during the fight, it does aoe dmg to the group but clears the slowing stacks.

Not true, if you hide behind anything except the boxes, you will burn. Also, if the dog faces a corner of the box, pile up on top of each other exactly on the opposite corner.

I have a question dont know if any of you experience this. Before the kujo fight got hotfixed and broken. I did a whole run with another group. And in the robo drome fight we did something... we dont really know what. But after the tank boss fell and while we were kiling the robot boss. An extra add jumped into de arena, de had some life, did some damage but most important would not shut up and kept on yelling. And we had to kill him, even after we had droped the tank boss and the robot boss.
When we did the fight again, the hotfix had already gone through, we did the fight again and the add didnt drop. And we got stucked in kujo since blizz broke the fight. We figured we activated hard mode or something. But reading this guide in detail i dont see any mention of this add, or even that the robo drome having a hard difficulty.
BTW the robo drome fight i mean the 5th fight.
So has any of you had this experience o know how to activate this add?
Edit - Just asked the tank since i was the healer, and he told me this add was a mecha-gnome.

The Input timing for King Mechagon's Hardmode is not always the same. While he usually activates it at 11 energy (5 seconds) It sometimes is delayed to 9 or even 7 energy remaining. See clip below for proof.
@warcraftdevs This is likely a bug and it interferes with reasonable player ability to complete the no-death

K.U.-J.0. will cast Blazing Chomp on the Tank.
Had a resto druid that had a hard time dispelling this debuff. So druid tank went feral with guardian affinity and stayed in bear form for threat. Blazing Chomp was never cast - a way around this ability.
We discovered this when tank kept dying and dps were tanking and never got debuff.
