s are especially useful during Phase 1, as they are able to DPS all Drakonids from a distance with minimal damage loss due to resistances.

Nefarian Quick Tips
All Players
Class Calls affects players of one class at a time, but the entire raid needs to learn how to deal with some of them (namely Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman and Warlock).
Because of Nefarian's special
暗影烈焰
at the beginning of Phase 2, everyone must wear an
奥妮克希亚鳞片披风
in order to complete this encounter.
DPS
Learning what Drakonid combos are up for the week and dispatching them properly helps Phase 1 end a lot faster.
Threat during phase changes is very important, especially during Phase 3 with the Bone Construct adds - As much as it can be tempting to turn and AOE them down, give the tanks at least a few seconds before starting DPS on them.
Tanks
This is the fight that will really test your stance dancing abilities, as Nefarian will
低沉咆哮
roughly every 30 seconds.
If possible, all tanks not currently on Nefarian must save cooldowns like
挑战怒吼
for Phase 3, after all Bone Constructs are resurrected.
Healers
All non-Priest healers must watch out and increase all healing if a Priest Class Call comes up.
If well-timed out, all healers are able to outrange

- It has a maximum range of 35 yards.
Before the Pull
Nefarian is engaged by talking to
维克多·奈法里奥斯
, standing on the throne by the end of the alcove.
When Nefarian lands to start Phase 2 of the fight, he will let out a special version of
暗影烈焰
that will hit everyone in the raid - Everyone must be wearing an
奥妮克希亚鳞片披风
to avoid the DOT effect from Shadow Flame. The only way to survive this without a cloak is by using immunities.
Nefarian Abilities and Strategy
Nefarian is a long fight consisting of 3 phases. All phases require careful preparation and awareness of whats going on, especially during Class Calls.
Phase 1: Drakonids
After talking to Lord Victor Nefarius, Nefarian will become invulnerable, and start to randomly casting Shadow Bolts, Fears and Mind Controls. During this, Nefarian will start calling out for different Drakonids to attack the raid.
There are 6 different types of Drakonid mobs that can spawn -
多彩龙兽
s are the toughest and highest health of all drakonids, but they do not spawn often. These drakonids will have high resistances and as such, must be DPS'd down by melee attackers.
For the other Drakonids, 5 different types of Drakonids can spawn,
with 2 of them being selected for the week
. These drakonids have less damage and health than the more dangerous Chromatic Drakonids and generally easier to deal with:
Black Drakonids
are resistant to Shadow and Fire damage and deal moderate Fire attacks. These are to be focused down unless Blue Drakonids are also spawning.
Blue Drakonids
will drain Mana and lower attack speed with their attacks, and are resistant to Frost. These must be focused down as a priority over all other Drakonids (but Chromatic).
Bronze Drakonids
will increase cast speeds and reduce attack speed with their attacks and are resistance to Arcane. These can be AOE'd down, but the priority is to AOE Red Drakonids if they're also spawning.
Green Drakonids
can stun on their attacks and are resistant to Nature. These can usually be DPS'd down as a last priority, after any other Drakonids.
Red Drakonids
have a short-range Fire DOT and are resistant to Fire. These must be AOE'd down at all costs.
All Drakonids spawn from the two doors coming from Blackwing Lair and the raid must be split in a way that makes DPS even on both doors. A good starting rotation is to have physical damage classes on one side, with more AOE oriented classes on the other side. Ranged DPS classes and healers should be positioned at max range so that they have minimal downtime if they need to switch sides on a pinch.
As a rule of thumb, Red and Bronze Drakonids should be handled by caster classes, while Black and Blue Drakonids need to be dealt with by melee/hunters. Non-Chromatic Drakonids should not live for very long, while Chromatic Drakonids will need to be properly tanked.
Phase 1 ends once 42 Drakonids of any kind have been killed by the raid. After this, no more Drakonids will spawn, but remaining Drakonids must be killed by the raid.
Phase 2: Class Calls
After 42 Drakonids are killed, Nefarian will turn into Dragon form and land on the balcony where the fight is happening. Right before Nefarian lands, he will breathe a special version of
暗影烈焰
- This version can be resisted, but the DOT is still very much lethal. To survive this, everyone in the raid must be wearing an
奥妮克希亚鳞片披风
(or use immunities) so the DOT is not applied to them at all.
After Nefarian lands, tanks must establish aggro and tank him, with Nefarian facing the edge of the balcony. In Phase 2, Nefarian gains some of the more iconic dragon abilities - A frontal cone attack and
顺劈斩
, and a Tail Whip on the back. Melee DPS must be positioned by the sides of Nefarian so they aren't hit by either abilities.
Roughly every 30 seconds, Nefarian will use

, an AOE fear. The ground at Nefarian's room will shake for a few seconds before the Fear goes out, so the tanks have time to stance dance into
狂暴之怒
. Having

s or

s near the tanks is also a good idea, just in case. In addition to this, Bellowing Roar has a maximum range of 35 yards, so healers, hunters and caster DPS are able to outrange the fear if properly timed.
Another ability of note for Nefarian is
暗影迷雾
, which will be cast at the target nearest the center of the boss' hitbox and reduce all healing taken by 75% for 8 seconds. If cast on a tank, Veil of Shadow must be immediately by Druids or Mages. If not on a tank, it can simply be ignored unless the target needs additional healing.
In addition to all previous abilities, Nefarian will perform Class Calls roughly every 30 seconds. Class Calls are negative effects that will hit all players playing a specific class. Some Class Calls are more damaging than others and all of them must be properly dealt with:
Druids:
Forced into

Emote: Druids and your silly shapeshifting. Let's see it in action!
Safest way to deal with this call is to simply have all Druids stay back and wait for the debuff to wear off.
Druids can go to Nefarian and DPS him while in the forced Cat Form, but this pulls them into the risk of being feared and dying.
Hunters:
Weapon equipped into the Ranged slot is instantly broken.
Emote: Hunters and your annoying pea-shooters!
Probably the single most damaging class call there is - All Hunters must unequip their ranged weapon before
any
class calls happen. After the call goes out, you are safe to re-equip your ranged weapon to continue DPSing.
Bringing extra ranged weapons might be a good idea, in case you let your main weapon break on accident.
Mages:
Randomly cast
狂野变形
into random raid members, polymorphing them.
Emote: Mages too? You should be more careful when you play with magic...
Priests and Paladins need to be on the ball to instantly dispell anyone who is polymorphed by the mages.
In addition, Mages can use
寒冰屏障
to remove the class call.
Paladins:
Forced to spam
强化保护祝福
on Nefarian via

Emote: Paladins, I've heard you have many lives. Show me.
It is advised for the entire raid to stop attacking Nefarian during the duration of this call, as the tanks will be unable to generate aggro for the duration.
If threat is well-established, the casters of the raid can use this opportunity to regenerate Mana - Have one of the Paladins cast Judgement of Wisdom on the boss and casters can wand to regenerate mana.
Priests:
Direct healing spells will instead apply
堕落治疗
on their target, dealing damage instead of healing them. This effect stacks.
Emote: Priests! If you're going to keep healing like that, we might as well make it a little more interesting!
Priests must stop healing immediately once this call starts, and wait for it to end. Paladins, Druids and Shaman must compensate by increasing healing on the raid.
As only direct spells will apply Corrupted Healing, Priests can still heal with

and

Rogues:
All Rogues are teleported and immobilized somewhere close to Nefarian.
Emote: Rogues? Stop hiding and face me!
The main tank must immediately assess where the Rogues got teleported to and, if needed, reposition the boss to ensure Rogues don't get killed by

.
Shaman:
Nefarian starts gaining
堕落图腾
invoked by the raid's Shaman.
Emote: Shamans, show me what your totems can do!
These Corrupted Totems can give Nefarian some incredibly nasty effects such as Windfury and Fire Nova. All DPS should switch and kill any totems as quickly as possible.
These totems are cast using the Shaman's mana, so you should wait until the call is over if you need to regenerate mana.
Warlocks:
Each Warlock will summon 2 hostile

s. They will stun and do damage to the Warlocks and anyone near them.
Emote: Warlocks, you shouldn't be playing with magic you don't understand. See what happens?
The infernals do not have much health but are immune to Fire damage. They can be quickly DPS'd down.
A good way to avoid haywire stuns is having the Warlocks stand in an isolated area during Phase 2, and Mages on standby so they can immediately

and AOE down the Infernals after they spawn.
Warriors:
Forced into
狂暴姿态
and take 30% increased damage for the duration of the call via
狂暴
.
Emote: Warriors, I know you can hit harder than that! Let's see it!
This call is extremely dangerous on the tanks and heals must be intensified for the duration of the call.
After the call is over, all Warriors must manually return to their desired stances.
The raid should watch over their threat for the duration of the call, as the tanks will be generating less threat due to not having the increased threat generation from
防御姿态
.
Phase 2 ends once Nefarian reaches 20% health. It is advised to wait for a Class Call and DPS Nefarian to 20% after the call is over, in case it is one of the most critical class calls (usually Priest/Warrior).
Phase 3: Bone Constructs
Once Nefarian hits 20% health, he will resurrect all defeated Phase 1 Drakonids into
白骨魔像
. Bone Constructs do hit somewhat hard, but do not have a lot of health and can usually be AoE'd down with no issues. The best way to deal with Bone Constructs is with proper preparation - Have any off-tanks be ready to engage with the constructs and pop cooldowns such as
盾墙
and
挑战怒吼
to ensure Bone Constructs are under control.
Alliance raids will have an advantage on this phase, as since Bone Constructs are considered Undead, they are vulnerable to Paladins'
神圣愤怒
in addition to all other AOE. Another good tip specific to this phase is to save up some
斯坦索姆圣水
and use it here.
Besides the Bone Construct, the fight continues the same as Phase 2, with Class Calls and Nefarian's other abilities still going out. Defeat all Bone Constructs and go back to finish Nefarian!
