This guide provides tips and strategies for defeating the Jadefire Masters encounter in Mythic Difficulty in Battle of Dazar'alor. This guide includes tips and strategies for dealing with the new mechanics introduced in these difficulties. For LFR, Normal and Heroic difficulties, please

The Jadefire Masters encounter is a single phase encounter in which the raid faces up against two bosses simultaneously, a Mage and a Monk. Good co-ordination and preparation are required to deal with their powerful Team Attacks that occur at set points throughout the fight.
This fight is mechanically the same between Alliance and Horde except the bosses have different names and the encounters take place in different areas of the instance. The strategy for the encounter remain the same between the two versions, aside from one small benefit for the Alliance version which will be covered in the relevant part of the guide.
Alliance will fight
玛拉·恐牙
(Monk)
and

(Mage)
as the 2nd boss of the raid.
Horde will fight

as the 3rd boss of the raid.
This guide will refer to the bosses by their class -

Jadefire Masters
is the third () / second () boss in Battle of Dazar'alor. After defeating

, players will head to the
Jadefire Masters
encounter.

Mythic Difficulty

The
Monk
's
万相拳
ability will now target 18 members of the raid each time it is cast, leaving behind the non-
Monk
tank and one random healer. Players targeted will need to now deal with 5 visions, up from 4.
The visions deal extremely high damage on Mythic, easily killing players who fail to face 2 out of the 5 visions.
Players simply need to identify which visions are targeting them and face each one in turn.
The order the visions charge at you is set and follows this pattern: Blue - Green - Orange - Green - Blue.
As players can see other players
万相拳
visions, it can be difficult to distinguish which visions are attacking you and which are attacking other players.
Players may find this task easier if they zoom their camera to a distance which only shows their own
万相拳
area, as this will remove the distraction of seeing other visions.
You face 5 images on mythic!

The
Monk
will summon two
雪怒之魂
, up from one.
These will each fixate a different player and will cast the same abilities as heroic difficulty.
Fixated players should kite the adds into melee so that they can be immediately stunned and nuked down before they cause too many issues.

s will spawn each time the ability is cast, up from two.
As the encounter space will become cluttered more quickly, you will need to have a larger amount of players clearing the traps.
We recommend that all
熔岩陷阱
s should be cleared during the Fire from Mist Team Attack, and just before the Flash of Hostility Team Attack.
Aside from these points,
熔岩陷阱
s should be cleared as and when the area becomes too cluttered.
Fire from Mist
During the Fire from Mist Team Attack, three
活动炸弹
s will spawn, instead of two.
The raid should move around as a single unit, clearing the
活动炸弹
s as soon as possible.
If any Spirit of Xuen adds are active during this time, they should be killed off before the raid focuses on the
活动炸弹
s.
熔岩陷阱
s are very likely to spawn whilst the
活动炸弹
s are active. Players need to actively avoid triggering them as they spawn as to not accidentally throw multiple people into the air.
Once the
熔岩陷阱
s have spawned, a single player with an immunity should clear them whilst the group keeps its distance.
A Flash of Hostility
During the Flash of Hostility Team Attack, none of the barrier sections will be attackable. Sections must be made vulnerable by having a player use a
超力之球
on it.
Once this is done, the barrier can then be destroyed and the bosses can be accessed.
The more
超力之球
s used on the barrier, the quicker it will die, which is important due to the new addition to this team attack - the Spirit of Niuzao add.
Horde Flash of Hostility Map
Alliance Flash of Hostility Map
Shortly after the team attack has begun, a Spirit of Niuzao add will appear and begin to run through the maze to the barrier. The Spirit of Niuzao add can not be attacked or interacted with in any way.
As it travels, it will leave behind zones that continuously pulsate damage to nearby players via the
砮皂迷踪
effect.
These images do not despawn and effectively prevent players from backtracking through areas as well as acting as a timer. The raid must break through the barrier before the Spirit of Niuzao add reaches them.
The more sections of the barrier that are vulnerable, the quicker it can be destroyed as players are able to cleave across the sections.
The raid should assign one player to collect each

.
The
超力之球
spawn in the same locations within the maze each time.
The best classes to assign to this task are those who can bypass sections of the wall by themselves.
Teleports, Leaps and strong momentum spells (such as disengage) can be used to bypass the wall.
Death Knights can Anti Magic Shell and walk through. Priests can
信仰飞跃
players through and Warlock's
恶魔传送门
will also bypass the wall.
The Serpent and the Phoenix
Although the Serpent and the Phoenix Team Attack is unchanged on Mythic difficulty, the combined mechanics of the two enemies in this phase make it very difficult.
To get around this, the raid should focus all of its DPS into the Monk throughout the encounter, only cleaving/multidotting the Mage.
The idea is to kill the Monk before this final Team Attack begins, as this will leave you with only the Mage in its Phoenix form.
The difficulty of the encounter drops dramatically as soon as the Monk dies, as the raid will only need to deal with half of the intended mechanics at this point.
The Mage might have as much as 60% health going into this phase. This is fine, as there is no huge rush to get through the last portion of the encounter.
