Attributes
Intellect
Intelligence improves your mana reserves. Intelligence has no bearing on non-spellcasting classes.
- World of Warcraft Game Manual, 2004
Intellect increases your maximum Mana, increases your chance to critically strike with spells, and improves the rate at which you improve your Weapon Skills. You gain 15 Mana for each point of Intellect. Druids receive 1% Spell Critical Strike Chance for every 60 points of Intellect. In other words:
1 Intellect = 15 Mana
60 Intellect = 1% Spell Critical Strike Chance
Spirit
Spirit determines the regeneration rate for your health and mana. A high spirit results in much faster regeneration, while a low spirit gives you reduced regeneration.
- World of Warcraft Game Manual, 2004
Spirit increases Health regeneration while out of combat and increases Mana regeneration while not casting spells. Mana begins to regenerate via Spirit only when you have not cast any spells that cost Mana for 5 seconds. After this, you will begin to regenerate Mana every 2 seconds depending on if you are a caster or a Feral Druid:
For a caster Druid: Spirit / 4.5 + 15.
For a Feral Druid: Spirit / 5 + 15.
If you’re able to spend seconds without casting any spells, Spirit is a very good way to regenerate Mana.
Stamina
Stamina affects your hit points, no matter what class you play. However, characters designed to absorb damage, such as warriors and paladins, gain more benefit from stamina than classes who have other capabilities, such as rogues and druids, who in turn gain more benefit than pure spellcasters, such as mages.
- World of Warcraft Game Manual, 2004
Stamina increases your maximum Health. You gain 10 Health for every point of Stamina. In other words:
1 Stamina = 10 Health

, Tauren Druids gain 10.5 Health for every point of Stamina.
Strength
Strength determines the physical power of your character. A high strength improves your attack power. Strength is also a determining factor in how much damage you block if you use a shield. Rogues and hunters only use a partial value of strength to determine their power.
- World of Warcraft Game Manual, 2004
Strength increases the amount of your melee Attack Power. Druids gain 2 melee Attack Power per point of Strength. In other words:
1 Strength = 2 Melee Attack Power
While not so important for healing, Strength is quite important if you're looking to tank as you'll generate more threat with increased Strength.
Agility
Agility improves your armor rating, your chance to dodge an attack, and your chance to score a critical hit with a melee or ranged attack, thus dealing increased damage. Rogues and Hunters also use agility, in combination with strength, to determine their attack power.
- World of Warcraft Game Manual, 2004
Druids in Cat Form gain 1 melee Attack Power per point of Agility. You gain 2 Armor for every point of Agility. Druids receive 1% Critical Strike Chance for every 20 points of Agility. And finally, you receive 1% Dodge for every 20 points of Agility. In other words:
1 Agility = 1 melee Attack Power
1 Agility = 2 Armor
20 Agility = 1% Critical Strike Chance
20 Agility = 1% Dodge
Secondary Stats
These are the most common secondary stats you'll use for healing:
Healing Power
Healing Power increases how much your healing spells will heal your target. This is a very powerful stat for healing Druids. You'll be looking to gather as much of this as possible through gear and enchants.
Mana/5 Seconds
Also known as MP5, this stat will regenerate a certain amount of Mana every 5 seconds. This stat is independent of Spirit and the "Five Second Rule," working even while constantly casting in combat.
Spell Critical Strike Chance
Spell Critical Strike increases your chance to strike a critical hit with spells. A critical spell hit deals 150% of a spell’s normal cast. You can gain Spell Critical Strike with Intellect or with raw Spell Critical Strike chance provided on gear.
Stat Priority
Stat priority boils down to personal preference of play-style and talent build.
If you are using the Regrowth/Nature's Grace or Moonglow talent builds, you will benefit more from Spell Crit. If you are running HotW/Ns, you'll gain more benefit from Intellect.
In Classic, we are seeing fights only lasting a minute in some cases. If this is the case for your group, stats like Spirit and MP5 will not be as valuable. These stats only have value when you don't have enough mana to cover a fight. On the other hand, if you're running out of mana early, consider adding more Spirit or MP5.
Generally speaking, Healing Power is always the best stat to take.

Druids in Cat Form get one ADDITIONAL point of melee attack power per point of Agility. Druids already get one point of melee attack power per point of Agility in any form, but when they switch to Cat Form they get another. So in Cat Form Druids get TWO points of melee attack power per point of Agility. And they also get a plus 40 bonus to melee attack power in Cat Form on top of that.

Stat priority here is a bit off and unspecific. +healing stacking is only for tank specific healing druids. Regrowth direct heal is an 18.68% power coefficient, so depending on how much mana/regen you're gaining vs how much healing power you're losing, there are situations where the overall mana/mana regen is going to be far superior. The difference in what's better just comes down to kill times. If you're often going out of mana or the fight is lasting long, you're going to benefit more from a bit more regen/mana pool than stacking + healing as an imp rg healer.
