T-t-t-t-troll in the Dungeons!: Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub
Redone when Cataclysm came out to include Heroic versions of the instances, Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub are known as the Troll dungeons. In the Heroic versions, several achievements can be obtained for players who wish to attempt them. Here, both the requirements for those achievements are presented, as well as suggested strategies for groups attempting the achievements. It should be noted that neither instance contains achievements required for the
“大地的裂变”地下城英雄
or
大地的裂变英雄的荣耀
meta-achievements.

Getting to the Dungeons
Both instances can be accessed through the Dungeon Finder option by queuing for "Random Cataclysm Heroics" or by queuing specifically.
If a player prefers to enter the dungeon manually, maps and coordinates are provided below.

The entrance to Zul'Aman is located at (75, 64) in Ghostlands

Achievement Explanations & Tactics: Zul'Aman
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat Daakara in Zul'Aman on Heroic Difficulty."
A group must complete the dungeon, killing the last boss (
达卡拉
) to receive this achievement.
Strategy:
If you're only looking for this achievement, groups can now skip to the last boss after killing only two of the other bosses in the instance.
To obtain this achievement, a player must "save all four prisoners before they are sacrified in Zul'Aman on Heroic Difficulty."
This achievement is all about speed. Before the initial gates are open, it's important to make sure everyone is on the same page on doing this achievement. The prisoners are trapped in cages on the first four boss platforms. To save a prisoner, a group must kill the boss that's holding it on the platform before the sacrifice time runs out.
Strategy:
Keep moving! Make sure the tank is leading the group on the shortest path between bosses, and that everyone else stays close. Kill trash quickly and efficiently, making sure no extra mobs are aggroed accidentally. Don't waste time typing if possible, and if anyone dies, don't give up hope! If a group can recover quickly, the achievement is still possible.
To obtain this achievement, a player must "un-hex all of the potential hex victims in Zul'Aman on Heroic Difficulty."
This achievement is all about patience.
阿曼尼妖术之杖
s can be looted from trash mobs throughout the instance and used on the
森林蛙
s around the central pond area. They are single use, so in order to complete the achievement, a minimum of TWELVE
阿曼尼妖术之杖
s must be used. Since it's possible to un-hex duplicate victims, as well as the companion
魔汁
, it's likely to take more than the minimum.
Some of the victims leave a chest or bag of money, while others are various types of vendors, most selling rare items, so make sure you loot or talk to the freed player!
Strategy:
If
阿曼尼妖术之杖
s are used while in a group, freed victims will count for all players in the group. So, try to use your
阿曼尼妖术之杖
s when others are using theirs, or save up your
阿曼尼妖术之杖
s to use all at once.
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat Daakara in Zul'Aman on Heroic Difficulty without any player leaving the rectangular turquoise stonework inscribed on the floor in the center of his area."
This achievement is on the final boss,
达卡拉
. The lower platform that he runs down to once the fight begins has a rectangle marked out on the ground, and it is this area that a group is confined to if they want the achievement.
Strategy:
Players should position themselves first, and keep their focus on their location primarily, with killing the boss (or keeping party members alive) as their secondary focus. The tank should, as always, hold the boss in the center of the rectangle. Ranged dps players should stand as close to the boss as possible while still remaining effective as dps, utilizing the extra distance in the corners of the rectangle.
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat Halazzi in Zul'Aman on Heroic Difficulty without killing any of his totems."
To get this achievement, a group needs to ignore the totems that spawn during the fight and only kill the boss.
Strategy:
Strangely, this achievement needs to be decided upon all the way back at the beginning of the dungeon. Why? Because if anyone in the group uses the Archaeology buff, the bears that spawn when in combat to help the group will attack and kill the totems, losing the achievement. So first, make sure no one utilizes the Archaeology buff.
Secondly, and of equal importance, party members should use single-target attacks only.

Achievement Explanations & Tactics: Zul'Gurub
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat Jin'do the Godbreaker in Zul'Gurub on Heroic Difficulty."
A group must complete the dungeon, killing the last boss (
碎神者金度
) to receive this achievement.
Strategy:
If you're only looking for this achievement, groups can now skip to the last boss after killing only two of the other bosses in the instance.
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat Gub, Mortaxx, Kaulema, Mor'Lek, the Florawing Hive Queen, a Lost Offspring of Gahz'ranka, Tor-Tun, and the Gurubashi Master Chef in Zul'Gurub on Heroic Difficulty."
This achievement is all about patience. Whether in a single instance, or spread over several, a player must receive credit for killing all 8 non-essential mini-bosses throughout the dungeon. Killing these NPCs are requirements in the dungeon quests:

, which can all be picked up at the start of the instance.
Strategy:
There's no specific technique to this achievement beyond either asking a PUG to kill some or all of the mini-bosses, or to run with friends / guildmates. However, a map providing the location of all the mini-bosses is provided below.

To obtain this achievement, a player must "not get hit by Bloodvenom, Pool of Acrid Tears, or Venomous Effusion in the High Priest Venoxis encounter in Zul'Gurub on Heroic Difficulty."
There are 3 spells a player must avoid in order to complete the requirements of this achievement:
血毒触须
,
痛苦泪池
, and
剧毒渗透者
.
血毒触须
is green beams that follow players around during Phase 2, when the boss is on the stairs.
痛苦泪池
creates the green pools that randomly spawn under players and grow over time.
剧毒渗透者
is the poison maze which forms during the fight.
Strategy:
Being aware of a character's location is key for this achievement. Standing between the maze lines, and moving quickly when spells go out are requirements to get this achievement without forcing a group to fight as 4. If a party is willing to do so, one player can stand outside the boss room and receive the achievement without having to pay too much attention, though it does strain the other party members to use this technique.
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat Bloodlord Mandokir in Zul'Gurub on Heroic Difficulty without killing Ohgan."
This achievement is all about speed. During the fight,
血领主曼多基尔
will call for
奥根
to kill the
被禁锢的灵魂
s held around the arena, one at a time. Once all the
被禁锢的灵魂
s are dead, players cannot be resurrected by them if hit with the insta-kill
斩首
.
Strategy:
Use slows as much as possible on
奥根
, and save any mid-fight resurrections if available. Make sure party members are aware of the boss's spells so there are minimal deaths early on in the fight to limit how many stacks of
升级
the boss receives. If
奥根
is able to kill all the
被禁锢的灵魂
, the group must kill
血领主曼多基尔
quickly or face a wipe.
To obtain this achievement, a group must "defeat 20 Twisted Spirits within 15 seconds during the Jin'do encounter in Zul'Gurub on Heroic Difficulty."
扭曲之魂
come out during the boss fight in phase 2, when the party has to break three of
哈卡之链
to finish the fight. Normally, ranged dps players pick off the
扭曲之魂
s as they appear, to avoid being overwhelmed by too many. In this case, however, 20
扭曲之魂
must be killed within a short period of time (15 seconds).
Strategy:
It's important to note that this achievement does not require
碎神者金度
be killed. With that in mind, a party should focus on acquiring and killing the
扭曲之魂
s first, and either kill
碎神者金度
if possible or wipe to reset and kill the boss after the achievement has been completed.
Tactically, the party should refrain from pulling the
古拉巴什灵魂
s up from the platforms below, and focus on accumulating as many
扭曲之魂
as possible without the healer becoming overwhelmed. Once there are at least 20
扭曲之魂
present, the tank should hold them in a group while the dps kill them quickly.
To obtain this achievement, a group needs to "defeat High Priestess Kilnara in Heroic Difficulty after having fed Temple Rats to 4 of Bethekk's Pride."
A
神殿老鼠
can be picked up by players as they make their way to the boss. "Feeding" four
贝瑟克猎豹
with
神殿老鼠
s before killing the boss will award the achievement.
The
神殿老鼠
is a critter running around the temple area, and is unique - four different players in the group must each pick up a
神殿老鼠
. There are sixteen
贝瑟克猎豹
in the boss room sleeping - four sets of four apiece. They wake up when attacked, when a
神殿老鼠
is thrown nearby, or when
高阶祭司基尔娜拉
reaches 50% health. The
贝瑟克猎豹
should therefore should be killed before dealing significant damage to
高阶祭司基尔娜拉
, who is semi-active during the first phase of the fight.
Strategy:
While approaching the boss room, at least four members of the group should acquire a
神殿老鼠
. Upon reaching the boss room, the group should decide what order to release the
神殿老鼠
s as well as where to drop them. The tank or healer should drop their
神殿老鼠
first, as the
血性狂乱
ability the fed
贝瑟克猎豹
gain may become straining for them later in the fight. With four sets of
贝瑟克猎豹
and four
神殿老鼠
s required for the achievement, each set should be used for one feeding. The set should be killed before moving on to the next pack to avoid overwhelming the tank or healer. Ensure that the
神殿老鼠
is eaten by avoiding the use of AOE attacks until a
贝瑟克猎豹
has gained the
血性狂乱
buff.
Final Thoughts
While it may be possible for a well-geared, highly efficient group with a little luck on their side to obtain all the achievements for each instance in a single run, it's not advised. The dungeons are time-consuming already, and few of the achievements can be obtained without research. Groups trying for
差点就喂狗熊了
in Zul'Aman need to kill bosses quickly, and trying for any of the other achievements will slow them down. Besides, obtaining
巫毒错乱
and the
阿曼尼斗熊
will almost assuredly require players to return to the instance.

Oh god, these dungeons gave me hell... never attempted these achieves because i didn't know diddly on how to get them for the Za/Zg bosses special mechanics scared me (which is kinda bad, since im a tank) but now that i've read this guide some, i'll be sure to get them!

this is a great guide! you might want to add a note that the dungeons now only require you to kill 2 of the 4 initial bosses in order to continue onwards. most pugs that i've been in want to finish the dungeon as quickly as possible instead of killing every boss so players are now even less likely to complete the achievements in one than before.
from patch 4.3.0:
Zul'Gurub
Players now only have to kill two of the four initial dungeon bosses (High Priest Venoxis, Bloodlord Mandokir, High Priestess Kilnara, and Zanzil) to face Jin'do the Godbreaker.
Zul’Aman
Players now only have to kill two of the four Troll avatars before they may face Hex Lord Malacrass.

Defeat High Priestess Kilnara in Heroic Difficulty after having fed Temple Rats to 4 of Bethekk's Pride
Everyone in the party is to gather a rat (limit 1 per person) and then once done, you are to engage the boss
Attack one cat at a time and take turns on who throws it the rat...After it eats the rat, kill it and attack the next one and feed THAT one the next rat. repeat until everyone has used their rats and then kill boss.

Perhaps you should mention that the mini boss in Zul'Gurub 'Florawing Hive Queen' does require an additional tactic inspite of it's mini boss status, STAY OUT OF THE WATER! :P Tanking this on the shore line around that area helps.

Only missing three, 'Bear-ly Made It', 'Ring Out!' and 'Spirit Twister' since I haven't really played the game much since 4.3 :) At last though someone has finally explained how to get 'Spirit Twister', with the gear increase since these were released the first two should be easier now, and now that I know the third one I can aim for it excellent! <(^_^)>
