Introduction
If you are going to do the pet battle world quests in BFA, then you want an easy way to remember what pet teams work best against each world quest. The easiest way to do that is with the
Rematch addon
.
Using the Rematch addon, you can copy the code (hidden below behind the "spoiler" tag), and it will allow you to import a list of teams, and fight notes, for each of the 24 battles, into the Rematach addon.
The purpose of this guide is to show you how to do that, and to share the import codes.
I compiled these 24 teams and the fight notes from the contributors over at
Xu-Fu's Pet Battle Strategies
. I have no connection to them, or the Rematch addon, other than as a longtime thankful lurker user. Thank you very much! They are a great community and I tried to include the name of the author for each strategy in each note.
If you’re looking to track your collections, Wowhead now has the
Battle Pet Collection Tracker
and
Mount Collection Tracker
! To use the tracker, simply import your character to view your collections.
You can read more about how to use this feature here!
How to do it
First
, install the Rematch addon using the link above or the Twitch addon manager.
Second
, import the code below:
To use the import code, select the red "reveal spoiler" button below, and then copy all the text in the code box by first selecting it all (click in the code box and hit Ctrl+A) and then copy all the code by hitting Ctrl+C.
The next step is to then create a new tab in your pet journal by clicking on the + sign to the right of the pet journal (Call it whatever you want but I call it "BFA World Quests"):
Then right click the tab you just created and select the "Import Teams" option.
You can then hit Ctrl+V to paste the code in the little window that will appear.
From then on, whenever you select one of the world quest battle pet NPC's, a little Rematch window will come-up asking if you want to load the team for that fight, load it (blue arrow in the screenshot below) and also be sure to click on the little note button (red arrow in the screenshot below) so you can see the notes on what to do for each turn. If you start the fight and forgot to open the notes, don't worry, you can open them again by opening your pet journal and clicking on the note icon.
When selecting level pets, for most of the fights you can click the Team Preference Button (green arrow in the screenshot below) and it will let you know the minimum attributes for any level pets. This is also sometimes covered in the start of the fight notes.
Now you may not have all the pets loaded into this code. Don't worry, the code is a good starting point for you. If a particular team doesn't work for you, check the Wowhead page for that world quest and the Xufu website for that quest, and find a team that works for you. Once you've found that team, you can either save it as a new team by selecting the "save as" button on your pet journal, or you can over-write the team included in the code below by hitting the save key.
There you go , that's all you need to start easily doing BFA world quest pet battles :)

Rematch is an Addon I've been using since WoD, and has been a great boon in my pet battling adventures. I highly recommend it. Glad to see it included here to help people step into BfA's pet battle scene. The enemy pets scale to your highest pet's level, so everyone can join in right away!

Everything's fine, but there is not even one word about DELETING tab. How can I delete once created tab if I don't need it any longer? As - when right clicked on it - there is NO such option.... Thanks.

Nothing big, but there is a typo at the start of the guide :)

addon. "

Since two or three days weird things started to heppened. Every SINGLE time I am logging of and then logging in I am LOOSING ALL recently added teams (so every single time I am adding a new team right now, I need to do back up straight away, and load teams from backup which is sooooo annoying that I have no words ;((( ). Even more annoying is, that I can’t import my all tabs at once in separate tabs, all teams goes to ONE tab (so you have to import each and everyone separately) which does NOT make ANY sense :((((. Is there ANY way to fix/bypass this bug ?
Thanks in advance for quick answer
