Tides of Vengeance, also known as patch 8.1, is the first major Patch of Battle for Azeroth, currently without a release date. Tides of Vengeance brings many changes to classes, notably to specializations with outstanding issues like Elemental and Enhancement Shamans, Shadow Priests, and Feral Druids.
The patch also intends to expand the Azerite system, by adding a
5th ring
to Azerite armor, adding new Azerite traits for all specializations, and tuning remaining traits, replacing unappealing ones.

Affected Spells:
This change offsets the Stamina change of Veteran of the Third War
Deals (30% of Attack power) Shadow damage and infects all enemies within 10 yds with Blood Plague.
Blood Plague
A shadowy disease that drains 064 health from the target over 24 sec.
Reach out with necrotic tendrils, dealing (14.742% of Attack power) Shadow damage and applying Blood Plague to your target.
Blood Plague
A shadowy disease that drains 064 health from the target over 24 sec.
Talents
A whirl of bone and gore batters nearby enemies, dealing (15.2334% of Attack power) Shadow damage every 1 sec, and healing you for 3% of your maximum health every time it deals damage (up to 15%). Lasts 1 sec per 10 Runic Power spent.
Damage taken below 35%30% Health is reduced by 35%30%.
PvP Talents
Places a dark ward on an enemy player that persists for 12 sec, triggering when the enemy next spends mana on a spell, and allowing the Death Knight to unleash an exact duplicate of that spell.
Cost changed from 20 Runic Power to None
Cooldown changed from 25 sec cooldown to 20 sec cooldown
Decreases the cooldown recovery rate of abilities by 20%30% to all enemies within 8 yards.
Specializations changed from Blood/Frost/Unholy to Blood/Frost
Intimidates theYou focus the assault on this target, increasing their damage taken by 3% for 6 sec. Each unique player that attacks the target increases the damage taken by an additional 3%, stacking up to 5 times.
Your melee attacks refresh the duration of Intimidated.Focused Assault.
Specialization
Continuously deal 58%52% of Attack power) * ((Attack power + Offhand attack power) * 2 / 3) / Attack power] Frost damage every 1 sec to enemies in a cone in front of you. Deals reduced damage to secondary targets. You will continue breathing until your Runic Power is exhausted or you cancel the effect.
Drain the warmth of life from all nearby enemies within 8 yards, dealing Frost damage over 8 sec and reducing their movement speed by 20%.
Just a tooltip update to reflect how it already works.
Death Strike's cost is reduced by 10, and its healing is increased by 40%60%.
PvP Talents

After your Remorseless Winter deals damage 5 times to a target, they are Stunned for 4 sec.
However, your Remorseless Winter's cooldown is increased by 25 sec and its radius is reduced to 5 yds.

Your Remorseless Winter also freezes all targets within 85 yards, rooting them in place for 4 sec when cast.
Decreases the cooldown recovery rate of abilities by 20%30% to all enemies within 8 yards.
Specializations changed from Blood/Frost/Unholy to Frost
Deals up to 3%6% of the target's total health in Frost damage and reduces their movement speed by 70% for 4 sec.
Chill Streak bounces up to 9 times between closest targets within 6 yards.
Your Death Grip automatically appliesRemorseless Winter and Chains of Ice free of cost, and whenapply Deathchill, rooting the target in place for 4 sec.
Remorseless Winter: All targets within 5 yards are afflicted with Deathchill when Remorseless Winter is cast.
Chains of Ice: When you Chains of Ice a target already afflicted by your Chains of Ice you Freeze them, rooting them in place for 4 sec.they will be afflicted by Deathchill.
All enemies within 10 yards slowly decay, losing up to 3% of their max health every 2 sec. Stacks up to 5 times. Lasts for 6 sec.
Specializations changed from Blood/Frost/Unholy to Blood/Unholy
Your Howling Blast and Frost Strike apply Delirium to the target.
Delirium
A disease that debilitates the targets movement, reducing the cooldown recovery rate of movement enhancing abilities by 25%. Stacks up to 2 times. Lasts for 8 sec.15 sec.
NEW
Draw upon unholy and frost energies to become Undead for 10 sec. While undead all damage is reduced by 30% and you are nearly unstoppable becoming immune to Stun, Snare, Fear and Root effects.
However, during Lichborne you cannot move faster than 50% of normal speed.
Specialization
Festering Wounds dealBursting a Festering Wound deals 25% more damage, when burst, and all enemies within 8 yds of a burst Festering Wound sufferand deals (20% of Attack power) Shadow damage to all nearby targets.
Death Strike's cost is reduced by 10, and its healing is increased by 40%60%.
Necrotic Strike now also hits all enemies near the target.

Ghouls summoned by Army of the Dead leap together to form a single ghoulish monstrosity.
Reduces the cooldown of Army of the Dead by 4 min.

Crypt Fever
Deals up to 8% of the targets maximum health in Shadow damage over 4 sec. Healing spells cast on this target will refresh the duration of Crypt Fever.
A vicious strike that deals (16.4424%30% of Attack power) Plague damage, and converts 1 Festering Wound into a Necrotic Wound, absorbing the next (150 / 100 * Attack power) healing received by the target.up to 8% of the target's maximum health in healing recieved.
REMOVED
When you use Outbreak, all enemies within 25 yards afflicted by your diseases take (16.38% of Attack power) Shadow damage and the duration of your diseases on them are refreshed.
NEW
Raises an Abomination for 25 sec which wanders and attacks enemies near where it was summoned, applying Festering Wound when it melees targets, and affecting all those nearby with Virulent Plague.
REMOVED
Outbreak also infects the target with Wandering Plague, causing 16 Shadow damage over 8 sec. When Wandering Plague's duration ends or is dispelled, it jumps to a nearby enemy within 30 yards afflicted by one of your diseases.
Lasts for 3 jumps. You can only have one Wandering Plague active at any one time.
Spells
A shadowy disease that drains 064 health from the target over 24 sec.
PvP Talents
NEW
Generates 20 Runic Power, and reduces the Runic Power cost of Death Strike by 50% for 7 sec.
Sets
Howling Blast damage increased by 15%3% and Obliterate damage increased by 15%3%
and Frostscythe damage increased by 15%3%
Azerite Powers
REMOVED
When Vampiric Blood expires, your Leech is increased by 250 for 20 sec.
REMOVED
Death Coil causes your next Festering Strike to deal an additional 994 damage.
REMOVED
Your autoattacks have a chance to apply Glacial Contagion, dealing 2464 Frost damage over 14 sec. Obliterate deals an additional 117 damage to targets infected with Glacial Contagion.
REMOVED
When Dark Transformation expires, the unholy energy in your ghoul is expelled, dealing 2920 Shadow damage to all nearby enemies.
NEW
When Crimson Scourge activates, you gain 259 Haste for 5 sec, and immediately gain 5 Runic Power.
Replaces Embrace of the Darkfallen

Icebound Fortitude heals for 1908 every sec and its cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds.
NEW
Pillar of Frost summons a Frostwhelp who breathes on all enemies within 20 yards in front of you for 2160 Frost damage. Each unique enemy hit by Frostwhelp's Indignation grants you 35 Mastery for 15 sec, up to 175.
Replaces Replaces Glacial Contagion
NEW
Dark Transformations links you and your pet with chains that deal 387 Fire damage every sec to enemies between you for 15 sec.
Replaces Horrid Experimentation
NEW
Apocalypse and Army of the Damned additionally summon a Magus of the Dead for 20 sec who hurls Frostbolts and Shadowbolts at your foes, dealing 623 each.
Replaces Festering Doom

I understand that DK's are extremely lack luster for PvP but I really hope unholy gets fixes for their weaknesses for PvE. I can't imagine playing them in 8.1 if they continue to perform this poorly. Also Helchains is cool and interesting but it should last for the duration of Dark Transformation. 5 seconds for 467 damage a second is really really low, especially when you will have trouble positioning to maximise this trait.

Frozen Center - Your Remorseless Winter also freezes all targets within 5 yards, rooting them in place for 4 sec when cast.
Deathchill - Your Remorseless Winter and Chains of Ice apply Deathchill, rooting the target in place for 4 sec.
Remorseless Winter: All targets within 5 yards are afflicted with Deathchill when Remorseless Winter is cast.
Chains of Ice: When you Chains of Ice a target already afflicted by your Chains of Ice they will be afflicted by Deathchill.
Weren't they planning on removing Frozen Center? Seems they nerfed it, which is fine, and made a better version, which seems weird, cause doesn't chains of ice already root?
nvm they are removing it. Got confused when they decided to nerf it though from 8 to 5 yards, lol.

Veteran of the Third War Stamina increased 10% and Armor increased by 15%..
So...instead of +60% stamina we get +10% stamina for Blood DK?....so our bonus health is nerfed by -50%? Thats extremely #$%^ed up if I understand this correctly.

This is amazing summary of all things and big thanks to you guys for making it, I just have 1 question.
What has happened with DK mass dispel that has been announced? Is it still not confirmed or is it's implementation not scheduled for 8.1 ?

Instant cast 45 sec cooldown
Requires Priest
Requires level 80
You exhaust all magic from the area, instantly removing all harmful magic from allies within 8 yards.
After 1.5 sec, 1 beneficial Magic or Greater Magic effect is dispelled from 5 enemy targets within the area.
For each Magic effect dispelled from enemies, you gain 10 Runic Power.

Sooooo is tranfusion a pvp talent or what - because that would be so nice for Blood PvE gamplay-wise and woudl really reward high level play
Oh yea and f*** blizzard for nerfing us but leaving the busted ass BM monk where it is, like actually wtf
