Abilities Earned While Leveling from 50 to 60 in Shadowlands
The Level Squish necessitated a reassigning of the Levels at which each Ability is learned. Inevitably some of those fell beyond the maximum Level for Battle for Azeroth. These are the Abilities that Warriors will gain access to as they level through Shadowlands.

Blizzard's Warrior Patch Notes
Blizzard has released Patch Notes including the class changes for Shadowlands. The following is the class change summary for Warriors.
Taunt is now learned at level 8 (was 14).
Charge (Rank 2) is now learned at level 14 (was 8).
Classes: Warrior
General
Whirlwind now capped at 5 targets.
All Warriors can now use the following abilities:
New Ability: Shattering Throw – Hurl your weapon at the enemy, causing Physical damage, ignoring armor, and removing any magical immunities. Deals up to 500% increased damage to absorb shields.
New Ability: Intervene – Run at high speed toward an ally, intercepting all melee and ranged attacks against them for 6 seconds while they remain within 10 yards.
Slam – Slams an opponent, causing Physical damage.
Shield Block – Raise your shield, blocking all melee attacks against you for 6 seconds.
Hamstring – Maims the enemy for Physical damage, reducing movement speed by 50% for 15 seconds.
Whirlwind – Unleashes a whirlwind of steel, striking up to 5 nearby targets for Physical damage.
Spell Reflection – No longer a PvP Talent. Raise your weapon reflecting spells cast on you and reducing magical damage you take by 20%. Lasts 5 seconds or until a spell is reflected.
Ignore Pain – Fight through the pain, ignoring 50% of damage taken, up to a maximum of 2 times the total damage taken.
Shield Slam – Slams the target with your shield, causing Physical damage.
PvP Talent changes:
New PvP Talent: Overwatch (replaces Spell Reflection) – When you intervene an ally, they gain Spell Reflection for 5 seconds or until a spell is reflected.
Arms
New Ability: Piercing Howl – Snares all enemies within 12 yards, reducing their movement speed by 70% for 8 seconds.
Mastery: Deep Wounds has been redesigned – Mortal Strike, Cleave, Ravager, Colossus Smash, Warbreaker and Bladestorm inflict Deep Wounds, dealing Bleed damage over 12 seconds and increasing the damage the enemy takes from you by 9%.
Sweeping Strikes now has a 0.75 second global cooldown (was 1.5 second).
Bladestorm now capped at 8 targets.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
Fervor of Battle no longer increases the damage of Whirlwind.
Rend now has a 15 second duration (was 12 seconds). Additionally, it increases the target’s critical damage taken from the casting Warrior’s abilities by 10%.
Collateral Damage has been redesigned – When Sweeping Strikes ends, your next Whirlwind deals 25% increased damage for each ability used during Sweeping Strikes that damaged a second target.
Cleave has been redesigned – Replaces Sweeping Strike. Strikes up to 5 enemies in front of you for Physical damage, inflicting Deep Wounds. Cleave will consume your Overpower effect to deal increased damage.
Deadly Calm has been redesigned – Reduces the Rage cost of your next 4 abilities by 100%. Passive: Your maximum Rage is increased by 30.
Dreadnaught has been redesigned – Overpower has 2 charges and causes a seismic wave, dealing damage to up to 5 enemies in a 10 yard line.
Ravager now has a 45 second cooldown (was 1 minute), duration increased to 12 seconds (was 7 seconds), periodic damage increased to 2 seconds (was 1 second), and now chases nearby enemies in combat. Additionally, Ravager is now capped at 8 targets.
Impending Victory healing increased to 30% (was 20%).
Avatar no longer has a global cooldown.
Fury
New Ability: Single-Minded Fury (Passive) – While dual-wielding a pair of one-handed weapons, your damage done is increased by 12% and your movement speed is increased by 5%.
Bloodthirst now restores 3% of your health (was 5%).
Rampage now costs 80 Rage (was 85).
Recklessness now instantly generates 40 additional Rage.
Piercing Howl no longer costs Rage, now has a 30 second cooldown (was 0), has a 12 yard radius (was 15 yards), reduces enemies movement speed by 70% (was 50%), and has a 8 second duration (was 15 seconds).
Recklessness no longer has a global cooldown.
Bladestorm now capped at 8 targets.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Frenzy (replaces Inner Rage) – Rampage increases your Haste by 3% for 12 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. This effect is reset if you Rampage a different primary target.
New Talent: Onslaught (replaces Furious Slash) – Brutally attack an enemy for Physical damage. Requires Enrage. Generates 15 Rage.
New Talent: Cruelty – While Enraged, Raging Blow deals 20% more damage and has a 30% chance to instantly reset its own cooldown.
New Talent: Seethe (replaces Carnage) – Bloodthirst generates 2 more Rage, or 4 more Rage when it critically strikes your primary target.
Fresh Meat no longer increases the healing of Bloodthirst. Now Fresh Meat causes Bloodthirst to always Enrage you the first time you strike a target with Bloodthirst.
Massacre now has an additional effect – Reduces the cooldown of Execute by 1.5 seconds.
Dragon Roar now has a 30 second cooldown (was 35 seconds), no longer reduces enemy movement speed, and critically strikes for 3 times normal damage.
Frothing Berserker has been redesigned – Rampage has a 20% chance to immediately refund 40 Rage.
Meat Cleaver has been redesigned – Whirlwind deals 30% more damage and now affects your next 4 single-target melee attacks, instead of the next 2 attacks.
Reckless Abandon has been redesigned – Recklessness generates 50 Rage and greatly empowers Bloodthirst and Raging Blow.
Impending Victory healing increased to 30% (was 20%).
Endless Rage has been removed and replaced with Sudden Death on the Talent row.
Protection
Revenge now deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets, no longer has a cooldown, costs 20 Rage (was 30) and replaces Slam when learned. Your successful dodges and parries now have a chance to make Revenge cost no Rage, instead of being guaranteed.
Avatar no longer has a global cooldown.
Intercept has been removed.
Thunder Clap now deals reduced damage on secondary targets.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: War Machine – Your auto attacks generate 20% more Rage. Killing an enemy instantly generates 10 Rage, and increases your movement speed by 30% for 8 seconds.
New Talent: Double Time (replaces Safeguard) – Increases the maximum number of charges on Charge by 1, and reduces its cooldown by 3 seconds.
Dragon Roar now has a 30 second cooldown (was 35 seconds), no longer reduces enemy movement speed, and critically strikes for 3 times normal damage. Generates 20 Rage (was 10).
Ravager now has a 45 second cooldown (was 1 minute), duration increased to 12 seconds (was 7 seconds), periodic damage increased to 2 seconds (was 1 second), generates 10 Rage each time it deals damage, and now chases nearby enemies in combat. Additionally, Ravager is now capped at 8 targets.
Best Served Cold has been redesigned – Revenge deals 20% more damage, or 50% more damage when your successful dodges or parries have made it cost no Rage.
Menace has been redesigned – Intimidating Shout will knock back all nearby enemies except your primary target, and cause them all to cower in fear for 15 seconds instead of fleeing.
Punish damage reduction effect can now overlap and has a maximum of 5 stacks.
Impending Victory healing increased to 30% (was 20%).
Bolster now grants the Shield Block effect for the duration of Last Stand (was increase block chance to 100%).
Indomitable now has an additional effect – Every 10 Rage you spend heals you for 1% of your maximum health.
Never Surrender now causes Ignore Pain to prevent 40% to 100% based on missing health (was 0% to 100%).
Into the Fray now grants 2% Haste for each enemy or ally within 10 yards (was 3% Haste).
Booming Voice damage done bonus increased to 20% (was 15%).
Heavy Repercussions now causes Shield Slam to generate 3 additional Rage and no longer increases the damage of Shield Slam during Shield Block.
Anger Management no longer reduces the cooldown of Demoralizing Shout or Last Stand.
Crackling Thunder now has an additional effect – Increases Thunder Clap movement speed reduction by an additional 10%.
Vengeance has been removed.
PvP Talent changes:
New PvP Talent: Rebound – Reflecting spells causes them to deal 33% extra damage back to the attacker.
Mass Spell Reflection has been removed.

Rather than a strict target cap and full damage, we felt it was important to retain Spear’s capabilities as a utility spell, while reigning in its damage contribution in high target-count scenarios.The

These additional knockdowns are short, 0.5 second stuns that are not subject to diminishing returns. This change should give Ancient Aftershock a clearer identity as a long-duration disruption ability.The

has been redesigned to address concerns about the amount of ramp-up required, and to make the group effect more broadly appealing.
Conqueror’s Banner – Instant, 3 minute cooldown: Plant the Conqueror’s Banner in the ground, granting 20% maximum health and 10% critical strike chance to you and 2 allies within 15 yards of the banner for 20 seconds. While active, spending 20 Rage (Arms, Protection) / 30 Rage (Fury) and killing enemies grants you Glory. Glory increases your critical strike damage by 1% per stack, up to 30%, for 30 seconds.
When the Warrior plants the banner, it will prefer to buff the two nearest players. This should make it easier for the Warrior to intentionally buff certain allies. As long as those players remain in the area, they’ll keep the buff, even if they don’t stay next to the banner. If one leaves, however, a new player near the banner will gain the buff.
The duration of the Glory effect refreshes whenever a new stack is earned, meaning it can last a total of 50 seconds from the time the banner is planted.
Additionally, Necrolord Warriors will learn a separate ability,

The initial changes to these abilities’ damage has had an outsized effect on threat gameplay for Protection, particularly in dungeons. These changes should make the task of gaining threat on a standard pack of enemies feel closer to the live game, while still making fighting large groups of enemies more of a challenge.
There are two accompanying, smaller tuning changes as well. Tuning is ongoing, but these changes were worked in alongside with the talent rearrangement.

We're happy with the playstyle of each spec, and our philosophy for core abilities is generally “if it ain't broke, don't fix it”. That said, there are a number of talents in each tree that could use some love. Some were underutilized in Battle for Azeroth (eg.,

Here I was thinking they would if anything buff Fury, It's the most fun and
potentially
capable Fury has ever been IMO. In BfA they set it up well enough. Though it suffers from sustainability, and a lack of CC. In PvE it's decent enough, but PvP you get rolled by every Arms, and any = or better, and sometimes even worse geared class that wants a fight.
I remade my warrior(by which I mean abandoned my old one and made a new one) just to be a Mag'har, and level up to get the Heritage Armor(among other reasons). Decided to go Fury, was unsure of it at first, but from the get-go had a blast questing and in dungeons. Fury even seemed decent in PvP whilst leveling, sadly once I hit cap and started to gear up going into BG's, fighting in WM. It was just allot of death and I'm not new to PvP(got 11 years of it).
Fury plays well right now has high potential capability how it's set up, it's easy to see when playing mine. It is just lacking, like good enough dmg and cannot sustain health well enough to survive most PvP encounters as it is right now. Now I know many players say PvP isn't about fighting one on one but it happens, esp in WM. and as Fury esp vs say a DK your not gonna live long even with 10-20 ilvls up on your opponent generally.
Now this comment will likely get down-voted for whatever reason(s), I mainly wanted to say Fury is already overly weak unfortunately, and as such should be buffed into the next xpac, not get made even weaker with more nerfs then buffs, whilst Arms, which is stronger as it is already gets more buffs then debuffs. I do say good for Arms though buff it up yo! but the same should be done for Fury perhaps even more-so seeing as Fury is a weaker spec ATM.
Final note as of now we are still like 6 months or something from the likely release of the next xpac and things are still subject to change if I'm not mistaken. So Fury could still be reworked and given the buffs it sorely needs/deserves.

Ffs, Blizzard, I beg you, make bleed baseline for arms and add another mastery. Arms fantasy is that of a class that dominate the battlefields on the frontline showing expertise on a great variety of forms of combat using different weapons. Give us the "buff our other skills dmg mastery", the opportunity strikes mastery. Anything but that crap bleed thing justifying because it's easy to balance.
Also give us the

trait from Legion back. It doesn't need to be an OP amount of healing like it was. I remember recovering half of my HP after casting one execute. Tone it down but give it back. You guys gave "transform rage spent into hp%" to Protection, even if it is a talent. They don't need it. We do. Let 'em keep ignore pain. They can use a shield, they have stamina increase ability, they have block, critical block, shields, aoe cc with low cd. We have second wind, yeah, but there are situations we can't just walk away from things that are hittin us and it isn't arena or dungeons where we have dedicated healers. You can see bajheera playing fury dealing with 4 to 5 people in Vale. Was he in Arms spec that video wouldn't event exist because Arms don't have sustain. DH have insane leech and can waltz into a pack of mobs, solo elites because perma Meta, relieve healer pressure on dungeons and so goes on. DKs use plate, have a lot of defensive against every type of damage and they can store resource to spam a potent %hp based healing spell. I won't even mention hybrid classes.
"Oh but now Warriors have defensive skills as baseline". We don't want to remove our B. F. Weapons to use a Sword&Board. If we wanted we would play Protection, not the Arms Master specialization. It's not a QQ about being skilled or not, but every other class can use their defensive without having to swap or hurt their ability to deal damage. Paladins doesn't need a shield, a libram or nothing like that to use divine shield. DKs can freeze their blood to reduce damage, can imbue themselves with runes to protect from magic, DHs can use demonic power to empower themselves, Mages can manipulate water element to form a indestructible Ice Block, Rogues are blinding fast to avoid damages. None of those envolves removing their weapons, swapping or something like that. Maybe Mages, but they can Nova, Blink awa and Poly you. Try put different runes for DKs back in the game, let's see if they would like an old mechanic forced into their class. "Oh crap I can't cast it because I don't have any Ice Runes out of cooldown". Why would you guys hurt arms even more forcing S&B? Undo this sh*t before it hits live and we have to swallow it.
I will repeat, this is not a rant against the other classes. I play Monk, DK, Paladin and DH. But out of 'em all, Warrior is my favorite melee because I love the idea of a guy that's so good at combat, so furious, that trained his body and how to handle equipments so well that he can deal with world ender stuff alongside light worshipers, demonic power users, spiritual trained personel, nature blessed beings and element benders.

Fury atm seems way too nerfed in my opinion as we suffer waaaaaay too much in PVP already hasn't been the same since MOP/WOD, currently, BFA Fury warriors can't do enough pressure in Arenas to even make a difference when DH who basically are the same spec as Fury warriors can do more damage with few buttons it's rather sad to see such things happen to the spec I played for a long time.
PVE wise Fury is "Okay" or somewhat like that yes we can compete with other classes but rarely I will out dps some DH other AOE spec classes but that's because Carnage and Endless rage is currently helping us keep that sustainability and the corruptions at this moment in time. Arms warriors shouldn't be buffed more and more to make Fury a useless spec in the entire game when they been struggling to keep up with the majority of other classes in every single area.
I hope blizzard takes our feedback on Fury warriors and actually listens to what every other warrior has to say cus at this point we feel like we been replaced by Demon hunters, Monks other melee classes due to them being extremely overturned/buffed while Fury warrior spec mind you hasn't changed since 8.1.5 or 8.2

I'm still missing Cleave for all specs. I would like to spam it on Prot once again. Overall interesting changes, many new things, so it will be fun to try it out and play with it. I'm glad that Impending Victory got finally some buff, definitely going to play with it.

So... gotta carry more weapons than any other class if I want to use the baseline defensive cooldowns... Not to mention tie them in a good weapon switch macro so I can continue attacking with my mains. Fury already is headed into SL nerfed by losing CSHB, and on top more nerfs. Who actually wants a proc of a bladestorm during recklessness? I guess my Warrior will NOT be the first to be leveled this expansion. Terrible unnecessary changes. Again.

Them removing thirst for battle is like the worse thing they can do for fury PVP it's literally making them #$%^ing wonky warriors.
