Halls of Valor is available in Normal difficulty for players above level 98, and is also available to level 110 characters in Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+ difficulties. This guide will outline strategies and important role-based responsibilities for each of the 5 bosses in Halls of Valor, as well as some tips on particularly threatening trash mobs.
When running this dungeon in Mythic+, additional affixes will be present on the enemies in the dungeon, affecting the way they behave. The first affix is acquired at Keystone Level 4, the second at Keystone Level 7, and the third at Keystone Level 10. Full details on Keystones and Affixes can be found in the

Note that players may choose to fight Hyrja and Fenryr in any order after defeating Hymdall. The suggested path in this guide is to kill Hyrja first, then Fenryr. This order is recommended because once players have defeated both of these bosses, they receive

, a movement-speed buff. The run back from Fenryr to the Hall of Glory is much longer than the run back from Hyrja, so doing Fenryr second allows players to use this speed buff to shorten the run-back time.

Loot
Loot is increasing in Patch 7.3: ilvl 845 in Normal mode for level 110 players, ilvl 865 on Heroic and ilvl 885 on Mythic.
For Mythic+ Dungeons, loot does not drop per boss. At the end of the dungeon, a special chest will spawn that contains loot from the dungeon, for which the base ilvl increases based on the Mythic Keystone level. The loot is personal, so each player should loot it to see what their reward is. Two pieces of loot are guaranteed and the items will be appropriate to the player's class/spec.
In addition, all loot in Legion is on an ilvl spectrum. Loot has a base ilvl and a progressively smaller chance to appear as a Warforged version, increasing in intervals of +5 ilvls. The maximum cap is ilvl 895. Learn more about loot in the

Dungeon loot can also be found at random on World Quests, including quests that send you into the dungeon, as well as quests to kill random elites.

For Mythic+ Dungeons, loot does not drop per boss. At the end of the dungeon, a special chest will spawn that contains epic items from the dungeon's loot table, for which the base ilvl increases based on the Mythic Keystone level. The loot is personal, so each player should loot it to see what their reward is. Two pieces of loot are guaranteed for the party, and the items will be appropriate to the player's class/spec.
In addition, if you successfully complete a Mythic+ dungeon within the time allotted, the Keystone that was used to start the attempt will become upgraded by at least 1 level. The faster you clear the content, the larger the upgrade, up to a maximum of 3 levels higher.
If the party upgrades the keystone by more than one level, they will also receive the corresponding number of loot chests.
In 7.2, Arcway and Halls of Valor will give the following AP token based on the Keystone level. The amount of AP is multipled by your current Artifact Knowledge, which can be found in

Notable Trash Mobs
There is very little trash for players to encounter before Hymdall.

is a single-target encounter with heavy movement and awareness requirements. The movement intensifies over time, so players should use their strongest damage-increasing cooldowns at the start of the fight.
The most important mechanic in the Hymdall encounter is

Hyrja
After defeating Hymdall, players have a choice of fighting Hyrja or Fenryr next. This guide recommends fighting Hyrja before Fenryr; players should turn left at the branch, toward the Seat of Ascension.

This ability makes it very dangerous to pull Stormforged Sentinels along with other trash packs, particularly those with Valarjar Mystics, as they cast strong heals that will not be interruptible. Unless your group is extremely experienced, it is safest to pull Stormforged Sentinels alone, even if you must spend a little time waiting for the Sentinel to patrol a safe distance away from the rest of the trash.
The Mystics'

There are several patrolling Stormforged Sentinels in the intersection just in front of the Hearth of Revelry, and all along the hallways towards Hyrja and Fenryr.
Be patient and pull the Sentinels one at a time, back down the staircase if necessary to avoid aggroing additional packs
Hug the wall as you travel down the hallways to cut down on unnecessary trash pulls
Ranged DPS should spread out to avoid multiple players taking damage from the Thundercallers'

Hyrja Tips & Strategy
The
Hyrja
encounter is a single-target fight with moderate to heavy movement requirements. Hyrja will gain the abilities of whichever mystic spirit she is nearest to; the longer she is near a mystic, the more dangerous her abilities become, due to the Mystic Empowerment buffs the mystics apply to her.
Stacks of the Mystic Empowerment buff accumulate every 4 seconds, increasing the damage Hyrja deals with the mystic's abilities
To reset stacks, the tank must move Hyrja across the room so that she is closer to the other mystic
This will drop her current Mystic Empowerment stacks and she will begin gaining the other mystic's Mystic Empowerment buff
A good guideline is to cause these "phase changes" about every 30 seconds, or after she has cast her "ultimate" ability (

/

)
Hyrja is buffed by the spirits of Solsten and Olmyr the Enlightened; move her towards one spirit to break the link to the other spirit and deactivate its buff
It is recommended that the party begins on the Solsten side of the room as there is less movement required during this phase, so players will get more value out of DPS cooldowns used on the pull.
When Hyrja is near Solsten's spirit, she gains stacks of

Fenryr
Track Fenryr's footprints to findhis initial spawn locationThe Fenryr encounter occurs in the Fields of the Eternal Hunt, which players can access via a portal at the end of the west branch of the instance.

will initially spawn in one of two locations - south, in a bear den, or west, terrorising a hunter's encampment (
hover to view a map
). Players can quickly determine which location he is in by spotting his footprints leading towards one of the two locales. The trash that players may encounter is different depending on which part of the map Fenryr is in.
After Fenryr has been engaged and reaches 60% health, he will retreat to his den, also marked on this map. While resting in his den, Fenryr will begin to heal himself with

. Players should follow Fenryr - his path is marked by droplets of blood - and quickly dispatch the trash they encounter along the way.
Once players engage Fenryr for a second time, he will not escape again, and the party may defeat him.
Notable Trash Mobs
There are several types of new trash mobs in the Fields of the Eternal Hunt. The beasts that populate the hunting grounds have very high health pools and dangerous abilities. Much of the trash can be avoided with careful pathing.
钢颚灰熊
bears are populous around the south Fenryr encampment. These bears should be pulled
one at a time
, as they put dangerous debuffs on the tank.
Tanks must quickly pick up any Steeljaw Grizzly bears that are pulled by the party, as they deal extremely high damage to non-tank players
About every 13 seconds, the Steeljaw Grizzly will apply

God-King Skovald
After defeating both Fenryr and Hyrja, players will gain

, granting them vastly increased run speed. The party must make its way back to the central corridor of the dungeon, where they will now be able to pass through the gate to the Hall of Glory. As players approach the Hearth of Revelry, a bridge of light will appear that will whisk them along The Ephemeral Way.
Note that it is possible to steer off the edge of The Ephemeral Way; players who do so will fall to their death.
Notable Trash Mobs
In Patch 7.2, these NPCs also now provide Trash Count on Mythic Keystone difficulty.
Four fallen Vrykul Kings honoring OdynUpon entering the Hall of Glory, players will discover four friendly Kings.
Players must challenge all four of these Kings to honorable combat before they may engage God-King Skovald
Speak to and challenge one of the Kings in order to prompt him to become hostile
Once a King has been defeated, all of the other living Kings gains his unique ability
When there are only two Kings left, both Kings will turn hostile when one of them is challenged
When fighting the final two Kings, it is best to focus on killing one quickly, rather than evenly damaging them

The main mechanic of the Skovald fight is using the

Crowd control abilities such as snares, roots, and AoE stuns can be used to reduce the damage the Flames of Woe deal, while players efficiently AoE the adds down. Melee DPS should take care when attacking the Flames of Woe, and try to find a place to stand that does not incur

damage.
On Mythic difficulty, particularly in Mythic+ keystone dungeons, it can be useful for the healer, rather than the tank, to channel the
阿格拉玛之盾
. This will allow the tank to continue DPSing. Using the Aegis ability just before, or just after, the first tick of
诸神黄昏
is likely to cause Skovald's next

to deal no damage, as it will be completely absorbed by the shield.

In Patch 7.2, Odyn's

Additionally, when Odyn summons a

Since there are thousands of World Quests available, it may take time to fully complete this list. If you know of a quest that isn't listed here, please leave a descriptive comment!
Note that World Quests can be completed on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties, but not in Mythic+ difficulty.

In this quest, players must collect three Book of Exalted Deeds items from various locations around the dungeon:
The far end of Hymdall's bridge, on the left, just past the gate that opens upon defeating him

A Book of Exalted Deeds on a table in the Hearth of Revelry
The books can be collected by clicking on them. Players will not receive credit for completing the quest until they defeat Odyn at the end of the instance.
Completing this quest rewards Valarjar reputation and may also count for Valarjar World Quests, but it is a Kirin Tor-faction quest and only appears when the Kirin Tor Emissary is available.

Small swirls appear briefly before the spikes emerge, so players should move quickly away from these locations

damage. The tank can also avoid

Players will not receive credit for completing the quest until they defeat Odyn at the end of the instance.

Arthfael's Enraging Roar creates heavy tank damageThe objective of this quest is to kill

. He can be found in the cave behind Fenryr's southern spawn point, near all the Steeljaw Grizzly trash.
Arthfael is a very simple fight. He attacks the tank with

is an instant cast, and Arthfael will use it approximately every 6 seconds
Tanks should try to keep a high uptime on Active Mitigation to help lower the damage from this attack

Tanks and healers should save strong cooldowns for the final 50%
These are the only abilities that Arthfael uses, and the party will take no damage - only the tank.
Players will not receive credit for completing the quest until they defeat Odyn at the end of the instance.

The objective of this quest is to kill

Spread out for Static StormThe Volynd encounter borrows mechanics from the Valarjar Thundercallers and the Stormforged Sentinels that populate the area.
Volynd will choose three non-tank targets for
Static Storm
, similar to the Thundercallers'

After 3 seconds, the targeted players will detonate, dealing moderate damage to players within 8 yards
Players struck by this damage - including the original target - will be stunned for 3 seconds
Targeted players must move away from others, particularly away from the tank
Every 20 seconds, Volynd will cast

, identical to the Stormforged Sentinel's ability of the same name
Ranged DPS/healers should be sure to stand more than 15 yards from Volynd, and melee DPS should use defensive CDs or run out

Tanks should drag Volynd away from the

, so that melee do not take fatal damage from Storm Orbs
This is a heavy-movement encounter, and the Hearth of Revelry is still a very compact and densely-packed area. Engaging Volynd where he stands may risk the party pulling additional trash mobs from the left or right hallway as they attempt to avoid mechanics. After the first
风暴
, tanks should pull Volynd out of the hall, back onto the platform at the top of the stairs. There is ample room here to dodge Volynd's attacks without risking additional trash pulls.
Players will not receive credit for completing this quest until they defeat Odyn at the end of the instance.

You can use all your abilities (except maybe channels) while using the aegis, so tank should have no trouble using aegis (except perhaps for warrior with nelth's fury).
On m+ I reccomend Ranulf+Tor first as both their abilities are avoidable, whereas the sever from Haldor and the dagger from Bjorn will wreck havoc on your party.

My mythics group is finding Odyn extremely difficult. He is casting Radiant Tempest over and over, right when he brings out his add. I've checked out a bunch of Youtubes on the fight that never show him doing this. Anyone else encountering this problem?
