Blizzard is holding a livestream on art development and animation with Senior 3D Animator Ian Lang and 3D Artist Kenny McBride.
This is
not
a Q&A, but it could provide a fascinating look into parts of BFA that often are overlooked in official discussions. BFA has many Allied Races with distinctive appearances, including Kul Tiran Humans on a brand-new rig, beautiful zones representing two different cultures, dazzling FX, and a host of new characters with iconic appearances.
Earlier in Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard partnered with ArtStation for a series of art spotlights:

Allied Race Release Date
They announced that Kul Tiran and Zandalari Trolls will be playable "around the week of March 12th"!
Kul Tiran
Starting off by talking about Kul Tirans. Their motifs are tentacles and anchors.
They had to discuss what a pub or house looks like for the Kul Tirans. They have a strong identity to the sea as they have the ultimate navy of Azeroth.
With the Kul Tiran Allied Race, they created a whole new suit of options.
The Kul Tirans have lived a place that isn't very habitable and they have this grit. These have the same pose and it doesn't work on a smaller creature.
The Kul Tiran Druid forms are based after the Wicker creatures from Drustvar, constructs of wicker and wood reflecting the dark power of the Drust.
Zandalari
The Zandalari are very rich and warm and a lot of angular, well-crafted shapes.
They went for an ancient worldly feel for Zuldazar. Dinosaurs are also old and loas are important to the trolls.
There are a lot of different cultures of Trolls and when you look at the Zandalari, it's less tribal and more grounded in foundation and with prestige, wealth and honor.
For their Druid forms, since the Trolls worship the Loa, they figured they would take after their loa. They started with the Travel Form for the Zandalari and realized they needed the full suite of custom forms. The Zandalari Druid Cat Form is a mix of creatures, re-imagining a cat as a swift dinosaur, with chameleon and reptile influences.
The Zandalari Troll used to be about 10% shorter (seen on the left). The Zandalari are so regal, that they should have a grand silhouette and they walk around dinosaurs, so their height was increased (seen on the right).
Shape Language
Shape Language is important. You have the Tortollan which are nice and round, but the creatures in Drustvar are very spiky.
The Kul Tiran Weapons were also based on military weapons. They were based on real weapons. A gun-axe is a real thing!
The Zandalari's weapons are more ornate and regal, as they have the money. You can see the feathers and the gold to show regalness on their armor. On the Zandalari Troll Allied Race mount, it's covered in so much gold.
The Blood Trolls also have their own theme. Very ritualistic and gross.
Sigils
These are the Sigils for the different Allied Races. You can see the worn Gold color on the left with Kul Tirans with the cold chill colours compared to the Zandalari's with a more vibrant Gold color and the more natural look.
Ready Poses
You have the Kul Tiran while is a lot grittier -- you can see how grounded she is. Whereas the Zandalari is not as grounded, there's nimbleness and agility and it looks like she can dodge an attack.
The Kul Tiran have their own regiment and look like they can take hits while stabbing you.
The Zandalari armor has exposed chests and feet and makes them seem more agile. It looks like they can do backflips and then stab you.
