Turning in this quest will apply the world buff 黑暗深渊的祝福 to everyone within Darnassus or Thunder Bluff, depending on faction.

This buff can be stored by using 时光祝福置换器, which is sold by reagent vendors for 20s, to be used at a later time just like 屠龙者的咆哮 and 赞达拉之魂.

At the end of the quest, 巴珊娜·符文图腾 will yell:

Denizens of Kalimdor, the dread beast Aku'mai has been slain and Ashenvale has been cleansed of the blight of the Old Gods' influence. Feel the boon of Blackfathom, and bask in the warmth of the Earth Mother's gaze!

Can you repeat the quest by receiving this loot again if you're a class that can benefit from different trinkets like a shaman, druid, priest, etc. if you were to change specs, etc?

This quest is NON repeatable if anyone wanted to know for the hybrid classes.

I chose the acolyte but wished I had chosen the invoker because I discovered how limited spell power gear is in vanilla. Would it be worth rerolling to get the invoker trinket? I am almost BIS as a resto shaman, but I don't know if it's worth rerolling for 11 SP. I want the invoker because I plan to be ele/resto for PVP at the end of the game. I feel that other players, especially hybrid classes, are wondering the same thing.

Completed this quest just now in the version SoD 1.15.0.52610.

Got a good amount of reputation:

The Heart of the Void completed.
Your Thunder Bluff reputation has increased by 200.
Your Orgrimmar reputation has increased by 200.
Your Undercity reputation has increased by 200.
You receive item: .

The NPC yelled this line:

Bashana Runetotem yells: Denizens of Kalimdor, the dread beast Aku'mai has been slain and Ashenvale has been cleansed of the blight of the Old Gods' influence. Feel the boon of Blackfathom, and bask in the warmth of the Earth Mother's gaze!

After that in Thunder Bluff everyone gets this buff for 2 hours: Boon of Blackfathom
I guess the buff can be refreshed each time a character visits the city again. Or, as mentioned earlier, it can be stored with a Chronoboon Displacer for future use whenever you like. The buff disappears when the character dies though.
