As Alterac Valley saw many modifications over the history of vanilla WoW, Blizzard clarified today that Classic Alterac Valley will use details from the 1.12 version. This means that reinforcements will not be present, but all Commanders and Lieutenants will be included.

Staggered Classic Content Update: Six Phases, Up from Four, to Address Itemization and Power Gains
Blizzard has announced that Classic WoW will be split up into six phases, up from four. The first phase will include Onyxia and Molten Core, but Dire Maul, Azuregos, and Kazzak will be pushed back. Other changes including releasing Blackwing Lair and Zul Gurub at different times, and replicating the massive 1.10 loot overhaul in the fifth content phase.

How Blizzard Verified the Summoning Demon Behavior for Classic WoW
Blizzard has clarified how they verified the proper behavior for summoning Warlock Demons in Classic WoW. While earlier patches included the debuff "Summoning Disorientation," that spell was not present in the 1.12 data. As soon as you start summoning a new demon, your existing demon disappeared in Patch 1.12, the patch WoW Classic is based on.
