Patch Highlights
Tons of Garrison abilities have been added for Followers. They seem to fall into two types--abilities that allow a follower to be assigned to a specific building, and abilities that increase a success chance when on a mission with various races. Full list below.
There are several other types of Garrison abilities:
Hyperactive
(Increases success chance on missions shorter than 6 hours),
Scavenger
(Increases the materials gained from a mission) and
Advanced Training
(Increases the XP gained from a mission for all followers).
There are also many new Garrison phases and Mechanics.

Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.0 Notes: Updated 4/18
New to today's patch notes are itemization changes, movement speed, raid utility balance, periodic effects, reforging, and combat resurrections.

Patch Note Highlights
The itemization details covering new secondary stats, changed stats on Mists of Pandaria items, and how items will change stats based on your specialization. Stats that are not currently active due to your spec will show up on tooltips but will be grey instead of green.
Movement speed bonuses have been changed to be additive.

Garrisons: Buildings in Warlords Database, New Images, Maps, and Abilities

Warlords of Draenor Modelviewer: Images and Video of New Character Models

Updated character models are a much-anticipated feature in Warlords of Draenor. Our

now shows many of these new models, so we put together some previews to show you how detailed the new emotes and animations are!
To view the new models on Wowhead, simply select the "Warlords" option that's present on the wod.wowhead.com modelviewer and then select an animation on the lower right side. You can access the modelviewer on nearly every page--

New Character Models in Modelviewer
The Wowhead modelviewer now supports redesigned character models in addition to the classic character models. Simply select between the new "Warlords" and "Classic" options at the bottom left of the tool.
The viewer currently supports the following races: Male Orc, Female Orc, Male Gnome, Female Gnome, Male Dwarf, Female Dwarf, Tauren Male. There are tons of emote options you can try out as well!

PAX East Roundup: Warlords Beta Keys, New Heroes, Hearthstone Adventure Mode
Four new Heroes announced
Heroes of the Storm has got well and truly into the PAX spirit with an early announcement of four new heroes.
Brightwing, Zagara, Li li and Murky, from left to right across the picture to the side, are the newest heroes. All these are playable at PAX and we're starting to see some
bios emerge

trailer for Brightwing
which was already posted on the Heroes of the Storm YouTube. From their general PAX Trailer, it also looks like Pajamathur is being added to the game as a skin!

News Roundup: Heartbleed Account Security, Azeroth Choppers, Significant Tweets
Heartbleed Account Security
Blizzard has released an official statement on the Heartbleed bug. The long and short of it is that Battle.net was not compromised, but if you use the same password for Battle.net as you do for other sites, you should change it. As a rule, it's best to use unique passwords for your different accounts.
Many news sites are reporting a vulnerability (dubbed the Heartbleed bug) discovered in OpenSSL, an encryption technology used by a majority of websites and online services—including banks, email providers, and social media sites—to protect sensitive data as it’s transmitted from users to web services.
We want to emphasize that Battle.net’s encryption was not affected by this vulnerability. However, if you use the same password on Battle.net that you use elsewhere, your Battle.net account could be at risk if those sites were affected by this bug.
If the above situation applies to you, we recommend changing your Battle.net password to a new, unique password. As always, we recommend that you maintain separate login credentials for each online service you use. Using the same email or password across multiple ser

How to get the most out of Wowhead's Warlords of Draenor Talent Calculator
Wowhead has updated the
Warlords of Draenor Talent Calculator
, to include glyphs as well as all the updated spec-specifc abilities and Draenor Perks. But maybe you're wondering how to use it? How do you see all these new features?
Upgraded Tooltips
The main body of the calculator, which we can see to the right, should be pretty familiar. It works exactly like the in-game one does, only it's been updated for Warlords. You'll notice some differences among the lower level talents as well as the new level 100 talents. What's more, the tooltips have been updated to only reflect your selected spec's version of the talent.
A great example is
Chi Explosion
, a new level 90 Monk talent. If you mouse over it with any of the three specs selected, the tooltip will update to show the appropriate version of the talent. You can select your spec at the bottom of the talent calculator on the left-hand side.
Glyphs
Clicking any of the Glyph slots you see to the right of the main calculator will open up a list of glyphs. Select from the list,

Female Draenei Model
Following in quick succession from the

that we saw yesterday, Blizzard has posted an in-progress Artcraft of the Female Draenei. It's important to note that this particular model is not finished. Specifically, she hasn't been posed or animated, so her posture may look a little strange.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to Blizzard Campus to interview Technical Game Designer Chadd "Celestalon" Nervig on Warlords of Draenor. You can

, but I've created a summary for Wowhead which you can read below. Please note that while the WoW Insider transcript is just that, I have used my own phrasing here.
Timeline and the "Alpha" term
Celestalon wanted to be very clear that this was not the final set of patch notes. There's already another 5,000+ word set being created by Rygarius, as well as blogs. It's definitely not the case that these are set in stone.
Players shouldn't take the "Alpha" as meaning that Blizzard is not that far along in content, and not assume that there's a certain time period of Beta to follow.
