Get Married In-game, Set a World Record
Over at ZAM,
the whole staff is participating in setting a world record on February 14th
on RIFT. Anyone who gets hitched on Valentine's Day in RIFT will be helping RIFT set a world record of the most virtual marriages in a single day in a video game. Five of the lucky newly weds will even earn some special accolades from the RIFT devs themselves.
The idea of a MMORPG being in the book of world records is beyond cool to me and so is coming together as a community on a singular day, so I'm all for it. You can even get married using a trial version of the game.

Wowhead's Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Sweepstakes

Deathwing Kill Video
I made this a few days ago for Tankspot--it's just me killing Deathwing on the final encounter of Dragon Soul from this week's PTR. I realized I never shared it, though!
A few words on the fight: first off, it's really fun. It looks boring when you see a video, because it's just generally boring to watch videos anyway; the gist of the fight is that you gain buffs, you have to dynamically jump to the platform

Interview with NFL Player Chris "Warcraft" Kluwe of the Minnesota Vikings
Everyone was shocked to learn Mila Kunis dabbled in Azeroth in her downtime a couple years back. After all, how could a celebrity manage World of Warcraft and being famous?
We seem to forget that celebrities are just like everyone else--and that means a lot of "famous" people play WoW. From sports professionals to famous actors, WoW's digital world is home to a lot of different characters both in-game and out. It's part of the allure.
So that's where this feature comes in. We're looking behind the curtains of characters and seeing who actually plays them, hopefully with some interesting results. For our first interview, I tracked down Chris Kluwe right before the NFL season starts and asked him about his gaming habits, particularly the one that earned him his very own WoW TCG card after his character.
Watch out though, if you're alliance--he seems a little bit of a troll. A Troll rogue, that is!
